    On September 1st 2025. They attempted to collect a debt via email for an incorrect amount. Upon visiting the website, I found a lack of clear communication and no way to track important information such as mailing addresses for contact. The customer service number provided did not offer the option to speak with a representative or even be placed on hold.They also displayed an incorrect debt amount, showing $172.96, whereas ******* confirmed the balance was only $146

    I have reached out 3 times to ask Xfinity if I had any outstanding charges on my account and once again I have been told my account is in good standing and I have not outstanding fees and I always pay on time. Please let ******* know they need to re look at their reason because it is incorrect and their employees have told me more than once otherwise.

    I am rejecting this response because I have not received any of these notices on my xfinity account. I have even reached out to agents and they have time after time told me my account had no outstanding charges. So youre telling me Im being lied to and now its going against me because ******* isnt doing their job correctly? Thats not fair to me especially as a customer that consistently makes payments on time for YEARS.

    On July 5, 2025, in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (*****), Sequium sent you a Model Validation Notice via email to the email address ********************** advising you of your rights as it relates to this debt.

    In review of your account, this matter was initially reported to the consumer reporting agencies on or around August 26, 2025. This reporting was done in accordance with Regulation F of the ***** which permits reporting no less than fourteen days after the debt collector has either spoken with you concerning the debt or sent to you the model validation notice via mail or electronically. Our records do not show that the July 5, 2025, Model Validation Notice returned. Additionally, our records do not reflect receipt of any disputes concerning this matter prior to this reporting which would have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). In light of this, Sequiums actions were compliant with both the *****, ****, and any applicable state statutes.

    Please note, prior to this complaint, Sequium had not received any communication from you requesting account information.  

    On August 27, 2025, we received a direct dispute from the credit bureaus where you claimed this account was fraudulently reported to them. As a result, a request for tradeline deletion was submitted to the credit reporting agencies. Please note that Sequium does not control the timing of when the credit bureaus processes or reflects the deletion of this information on your credit report.

Collection attempts by Sequium will cease, providing you with sufficient time to review the documentation provided.
