    Company sent individual personal information to obtain a debt for an individual that i don't know. Since they refuse to talk to anyone other than that individual how are they allowed to send personal information to some random number? this needs to be reported as criminal.

    I have received numerous harassing phone calls from this business. They do not leave a voicemail when they call. When I call back, no one is available to take my call. They continue to call me several times a day and I still dont know what they are contacting me about. I cant look up any debt because they havent provided an account number. Ive never received an email or letter about a debt and am concerned that the poor communication may indicate that this is not a legitimate company. I have never worked with Sequium and have no contract with them.

    This is a collection company claiming to be a loan company and they are calling family and my job claiming that I committed fraud. They also claimed that I was wanted by the police, My boss called to see if it was true and the local and county did a check and they found out that I didn't. So after they did their search/investigation they found out that it was a collection agency.They have being doing the same thing with my family and they are tired of it cause now they're just constantly calling them 5x's a day.

    I paid my account in FULL on May 20 at 10:07am. This company stated to me that if I accepted a settlement offer, my account would be paid in full, in good standing, and closed. I paid the collections account and received a letter stating my account has been paid off. But today, the reported my account to the credit bureaus lying to them saying I have a $55. I am pursuing legal damages against this company as well for what they did to my credit and the dishonesty.

This reporting was done in accordance with Regulation F of the ***** which permits reporting no less than fourteen days after the debt collector has either spoken with you concerning the debt or sent to you the model validation notice via mail or electronically. Our records do not show that the January 3, 2025, Model Validation Notice returned. In response, our representative offered a settlement amount of $182.72, which closely aligned with the $180.00 amount you referenced, based on a settlement offer originally sent to you last year. Please note that settling an account for less than the full balance does result in a remaining unpaid balance. We apologize for any misunderstanding or confusion that may have been caused by the "Paid in Full" letter you received.

    Sequium has now closed the account in our office as settled. As a result, the associated tradeline has been removed from your credit report, and the account has been returned to *******. You will not receive any further contact from Sequium regarding this matter.

    Sequium has sent multiple notices claiming I owe a debt to **********************, however the debt they claim I owe is not legitimate. I confirmed with Mercy via phone that I owe no balance. Sequium's 10/31/2023 "notice" lists an address for me at which I have never resided. The "notice" also lists supposed services in **********, ** on 10/31/2022; however, I was located in **********, ** on this date. The "notice" also lists my father's insurance plan for the supposed services on 10/31/2022, but I was not a beneficiary of this insurance plan on this date. The collection does not currently show on my credit report, but I am worried Sequium will fraudulently report it to the credit bureaus.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I am not the ****** ***** referenced in the Mercy and Sequium documents.  Mercy and Sequium have falsely assigned another patient's bill to me.  In the documents provided, the patients identification (identification.pdf) and registration form (patient registration form.pdf) show that the patient is a male born in **********  However, in the insurance form document (insurance form.pdf) Mercy incorrectly assigned the patient to my account.  You can see on the insurance form document that my account is for a female born in ***********, which does not align with the patients documents.  Further, the social security number referenced in the patient registration documents is not my social security number.  Please remedy this mistake immediately and remove me from association with this bill and collection.
