    I used ******** to resolve debt issues after Covid casualties. Based on the agreement/settlement, I was to pay a sum of money. It was paid on monthly terms on the designated days without fail. Now that settlement has been paid, Lending Point refuses to update loan as settled. Every call I make to Lending Point results in needing to speak to a manager and they are all in meetings. After 3 months of trying to speak to a manager, there is zero response. They have shattered my credit score stating payment not made and default.

    Lending point scam. They contact me using personal numbers and ask odd questions not similar to other legit lending companies. Ask for ******* wired money to pay a fee upfront. And they have access to your bank account etc. Need help. They go after fair credit consumers who are seeking small personal loans. They also email from different company names.

    Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns.  We checked our system and do not have an application with your name, address, or email address.  This appears to be the work of bad actors using our name to contact innocent consumers with a promise of a loan in an attempt to access bank account information.  We are not affiliated with these bad actors and are actively working to shut them down.  In the meantime, we suggest contacting your local police and submitting an internet crimes report to the *** at https:www.ic3.gov and taking all appropriate steps to protect your identity, including calling the credit bureaus.  Thank you for your informing us so we can continue our efforts.

    I started TRT therapy through a clinic, there was a loan taken out to pay for the treatment making monthly payments. I had to cancel the treatment for health reasons after the first month. the lump sum remainder of the loan was being used to pay the monthly payments. which I was unaware of. I was never contacted for over two years. until I seen three late payments on my credit report. I reached out to lending point to find out they had the wrong contact information for me. The number they had was not even the same area code or close to mine. I never changed my contact information. I finally spoke with a manager regarding the late payments. I was told the late payments would be removed. you can listen to the recorded phone calls to see the wrong contact information and being told they would remove the payments. I paid off the remaining debt once I figured out it belonged to me and why. all I asked is that they remove the payments. once the debt was paid I've been ignored. I've reached out multiple times to talk to a manager and I get told they will take down my information and call me back. I've never been called back. the only reason I found out any of this happened and that the loan was being paid for two years from the remaining sum is because I seen it on my credit and I had to reach out to them. I paid the debt off instead of drawing it out in payments. all I asked is that they remove the late payments. but now I can't get ahold of anyone to help me.

    Hello this complaint is for LendingPoint LLC. I got one of my issues resolved and I tried calling in about another one and no one was helpful so I am deciding to write this complaint so I can have some resolution. *************************** as I can expect it was hard for others due to COVID, I am still dealing with COVID currently. I have a late payment dated back in Jan and I called in about it and no one has been helpful and sometimes even rude. I know the late payment recorded is under unfair pretenses. I vividly remember calling LendingPoint before the *************************************************************** to call back on Monday which was February 28,2022 where I was told I was going to have to pay $83.80 and then I would pay 20% of what I owe in the following months thereafter for their reduced payment program and not to mention I have documentation that my regular payments were going to resume on 6.27.2022 and I was wrongly charged for that in May. I just ask an investigation happens and call review and all these things be made right. Thank you

    I had my identity stolen and accounts were opened in my name, including an account with lending point. I have contacted Lending Point making them aware of the situation and said they would get back to me to resolve the issue but nothing has been done 4 months later and it is currently hurting my credit rating. Please fix this issue or contact me with any further information needed so we can get this resolved, that is not good business and I will not let this go.

    Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns.  We completed an investigation and discovered an initial application submitted through Experian on 4/20/2021, and the loan was funded on 4/21/2021.  Six payments were received, and a refinance application was submitted on 10/25/2021, with a new contract signed on 11/17/2021.  LendingPoint verified the bank account, payroll information, identification, address, and phone number as belonging to you.  We received 9 payments on the new loan, including the completion of a temporary payment reduction plan that began in July that was discussed and confirmed over the phone. The loan is currently past due 122 days.  We believe all credit reporting is accurate.

    If you believe you have been a victim of identity theft, we will need a police report along with your government-issued identification to further investigate.  This information can be sent to *********************************.  We remain on standby to assist.

    I have never done business with Lending Point. I have never applied for a loan from Lending Point. Since September of 2022, I've been receiving texts and phone calls from Lending Point, purportedly in an attempt to collect a debt. On 5 occasions I've returned their calls, verified that I am not the party they are attempting to contact, and been assured they will remove my number from the account. I've replied "STOP" to the text messages on several occasions. The calls and text messages continue.

    Our dental office recommended that we get a Lending Point Loan to cover orthodontics for our son because we would receive 2 years interest-free. However, immediately after we were informed that we did not receive the interest-free. I contacted Lending Point about canceling the loan due to that reason and we were told to just pay the loan back, however, it cost us an extra $273.66. (this was incorrectly calculated in ******'s email). I contacted the **************** Specialist that we had been communicating with and confirmed that we would receive a least a portion of the back. this would only occur quarterly. Now it has been 6 months with no refund. I have tried to call the customer service number and the phone disconnects. Due to the length of time and lack of communication. We should be given the full amount w or w/o interest.

    I am rejecting this response because:  after waiting for six months for a refund for a loan that we had for one week, as we were communicating between the business and ourselves regarding the interest-rate, it cost us almost $300 instead, the loan shouldve just been canceled and voided but the customer rep said that we just had to repay the money yet It cost us an additional $273. that is a cost of almost $35 per day that we had to pay them. Yet we had to wait six months for our refund. If they had to pay $35 a day that we have had to wait for our refund, that wouldve been the total cost of the loan.  

    The service charges need to be refunded in full.

    Date of the transaction 08/02/2022 for the amount of $3995 with added accrued interest. Fradulent loan # LAI-********. First notification ever mailed was dated 12/07/2022. My identity has been stolen and my credit was ran for this fraudulent acquisition. I have emailed proof that a police report has been filed as of 12/28/22 to ********************* and ************************* at LendingPoint.

    There were checks sent into my account and signed I did not sign them Im so foolish for giving my info out and I did not receive any funds I was approved for a loan and I called told them I did not receive anything their saying it could take 2 days but I believe its a scam I had no money in my account

    Hello,I went into Lending Point LLC to view my two personal loans where I fell behind in due to hardship and the company has sold my accounts and locked me out where I can not even view my loan documents.

    I am rejecting this response because:I did not receive a letter of any charge-offs.Ny kaw you failed to probide me that information. The last time I spoke to your company your company went into my Wellsfargo account and illegally debited a lower amount which the teller was present wgen I addressed the matter over the telephone  I should have filed fraud charges against your company then. Afterwards, I had spoken to a customer service representative and informed her that I had lost two jobs which I have not found a stable job as of todate. Due to me having a part-time job only, I am setting my accounts to be consolidated through a credit counseling company. So I need access to my account numbers, and amounts owed to put it in consolidation.
