  Customers have informed LendingPoint that LendingPoint's
  name and address are being used by individuals calling, texting, faxing, or
  emailing consumers regarding loans. These individuals are posing as
  LendingPoint employees and contacting consumers, informing them they have been
  approved for a loan or providing documents that show the same. If the consumer
  expresses interest in the loan offer, the LendingPoint employee imposter will
  ask for an advance fee to receive the loan.
  LendingPoint will NEVER:

  
  -Contact consumers requesting money via a gift card or wire
  transfer as a condition to getting a personal loan.

  
  -Deposit money into your bank account for you to return to
  them.

  
  -Contact customers or consumers from publicly available
  email domains such as Gmail. If the email address is not @LendingPoint.com, it
  is not from LendingPoint.

  
  Consumers can apply for a LendingPoint personal loan at
  LendingPoint.com. Consumers may be asked to verify information such as identity
  or income during the application process, but they will never be asked for any
  advanced fees to obtain a loan.
