    I purchased a J5 Create USB-C Dual 4K HDMI Docking Station, Model: JCD3199, through Best Buy on 10/24/2024. The unit died in June 2025. I contacted J5 Create for support, and only after several rounds of back-and-forth did they agree to send a replacement unit. That arrived early July 2025. The replacement unit died 4 months later, on 10/25/2025.They're refusing to provide a refund. I do not want a replacement unit, as it has proven to be flawed.

    We are currently working with our customer to find a solution that he is happy with.  We have already offered him an exchange for an upgrade product valued at $60 more than the $129.99 product he purchased or a store credit of $150.00 on our website.  He has declined these offers and continues to request a refund, but we are the manufacture and did not receive the funds he is requesting.  We are trying to set a time for a phone call with the customer and will follow up with further developments.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    In their response, J5Create failed to explain why I rejected their offer for a replacement product. The replacement product was the a JCD3199p, which is basically the same unit that died twice (JCD3199), only that it came with its own power adapter. I told them that there is no way that I'm going to accept the same unit a 3rd time! The power adapter I used was comparable to theirs. I do not trust that docking station.

    They offered a $150 credit to purchase something on their website. I scoured the site and found nothing that I could use. Therefore, a credit would sit there indefinitely and never be used.

    J5create is correct in that I didn't pay them directly. Rather, I purchased the unit at Best Buy. I contacted Best Buy today to request a refund. The refund window closed November 2024, 1 year ago. There is nothing that they can do for me, and punted me back to J5create. I'm going around in circles and getting very dizzy and annoyed!

    Therefore, the only acceptable solution is to get a refund in the amount of $129.99. I have a conference call with REMOVEDat J5create tomorrow (11/5) to discuss, but I fear that they will not provide a refund.

    Good Morning,

    j5create has reached out again to our customer and we were able to reach an agreement.  We have sent him several of our products as a replacement for the product that he was having issues with and he has received the items.  He has expressed that he is happy with the outcome.
