  Avoid at all costs. Entered into an agreement for tuckpointing and chimney cleaning. Paid half the total as a deposit for a place on the schedule. Have since been canceled on and rescheduled with very little contact. Called on 12/4 to cancel and be refunded. Agent on the phone explained they'd need to check to see if that was possible and if they ordered materials. I said I only paid a deposit, and what the process would be to get the refund. The agent then started shouting at me. I let her finish and then asked if I should stay on the line, call her back, or wait for her call about the refund. Still waiting on that call back.

  These guys do an awesome job of cleaning and maintaining a safe fireplace/ wood burning stove. They are careful to keep the soot and mess contained. After its done they give recommendations and teaching on what products to buy to prevent build/up or future fire hazards. The are quick to come out after contacting and their pricing for the job beats most of their competitors. It always brings peace of mind to our household after it is done.

  There is a lot of shadiness going on here. I called ACE ****************** I had concerns that all of the reviews looked to good to be true. ********* arrived late spent 5 minutes on inspecting my fireplace and gave me a quote for $645. The quote listed A1 Chimney Sweep. I went on BBB site for reviews for the original company name and didn't find any. If I would have had the correct name I would have found these reviews and would have never booked it. Ace ********* Services and A1 Chimney Sweeps are both scams.

  No call, no show. Then had the audacity to call and say the "technician is trying to get here but it's dark" well that's because my appointment was yesterday. Snide and sarcastic service will not serve them well... Seeing reviews here, they did me a favor by not showing up!!

  Overcharged for inspection and cleaning, and filling fine cracks in a panelled fire place. Totalled over $823. Complete rip off. Other nearby company quoted $200. They then tried to charge $1399 for a simple flashing repair. When we said no they brought it down to $749. We continued to say no. Cannot believe this company is still going.

  STAY CLEAR OF THESE CROOKS ,Not an honest business, wish I had read this site before hiring them. They charged me almost $1100.00 for 1-1/2 hrs. to clean my chimney and put a 4' bead of fireplace ****** in a brick seam.I called management but there unwilling to make it right.

  Absolute horror to deal with !!! Stay away!!! I am a realtor and deal with many companies servicing my clients, and this company was the worst experience that my buyers had. We are waiting for 6 days to get a simple report from them with findings on the fireplace inspection. . Plus they moved inspection date and time multiple times. Very **************************

  The WORST experience with a company EVER. Management is unresponsive and unprofessional. They have zero follow through, zero care for their customers, and zero integrity in their word. The techs are clueless. Communication within the company is nonexistent. This is the most poorly ran business I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Their incompetence ruined the sale of my home. The only person with any sense here is *******, and he doesn't have the power to make a difference. Run far far away. DO NOT make the same mistake I did by hiring them. Seriously, they should be ashamed of themselves.

  Scam! DO NOT USE. There was no inspection truly done! Looked up the chimney with his phone light a total of 7 seconds and told me I needed over a $1000 worth of work done or he wouldn’t pass the inspection. High pressure sales. I doubt this guy was even a certified technician.
