5 starsLuis was FANTASTIC helping me with my booking for 2/20/25-2/22-25 . As long as everything remains as he explained, I literally could not be happier with his help and service. Honestly, I’ll be 50 in less than a month, Ive booked at minimum 25+ hotels in the past, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a better experience booking a hotel room over the phone. 1 starWe called this company on December ******. We were told we were dealing with a Hampton employee which was not the case.. We booked a room for my mothers 100th birthday and we were told we had a 24 hour cancellation policy which is standard at *******. When we received our confirmation we were told the reservation was a non-refundable reservation.We needed the 24 hour cancellation notice due to the weather in MInnesota We reconfirmed their cancellation policy several times and they kept saying it is a 24 hour notice. Our itinerary number is : H9923943 We were very disappointed also in being charged for a refund protection of $51.55 of which we were never informed of it being a charge.We cancelled the charge and were informed we would get a credit We disputed the charge on our credit card and we were told we were going to get a refund but due to the dispute they could not refund the amount due of $657.98.The claim dispute was cancelled and we emailed the Capital Letter to them outlining the cancellation of the charge dispute. We have called several times and yet we cannot get a reply on our refund. We have complied with all of the info required.These folks have their money and I am requesting a refund back due to their erroneous statements they have made on their cancellation policy. Thank you for your response and for allowing us the opportunity to review this for you. We were able to locate your reservation in our system and we show that you have disputed the charge for your reservation, and once a reservation is disputed we are locked out of the account or "charge" for ****** days. If you have a letter from your bank/credit card holder stating the dispute is withdrawn, we can make the request for the dispute review to be closed early.
This is what needs to be included in the dispute closed letter, which is emailed to ***************************** // CC: ******************************************************************.
1. MUST be a screenshot of a message in the banks online messaging portal or a photo of a letter on bank letterhead (Cannot be a forwarded email from a bank rep)
2. MUST state cardholder dropped or withdrew the dispute
3. MUST include the following info, which must match the charge info:
Cardholder name
Last four digits of the card
Amount of disputeIf you can present this documentation, we can work to have your dispute closed earlier, but we cannot promise approval. We will contact you with a status update as soon as we hear back from the merchant of record for this booking.
