1 starWe rented an ****** in ************, ********** that turned out to be extremely dirty and run down. We were there for my sons engagement weekend. After a full day of travel and the Airbnbs conditions we made a hotel reservation, thinking we were talking to Holiday Inn Express. We canceled it the next morning due to overcharging, ****** for 2 nights. We were offered half credit for their website. We asked for a full refund back to our card which they agreed to, and then never gave. Eventually, with many many, many phone calls we got half of our money refunded. We are still trying to get the other half. Worst experience ever for ****** and hotelplanner.com

As usual, I received no contact from her and still no refund for the second half of my charges that was promised to me on the many many phone calls to helpplanner.comemployees. 1 starI never reserved a hotel room thru this company. When I finally discovered a room had been booked by them, the rate was way over double the price of the room for 2 nights. We're talking $375 vs. $218. When I called, I was told I would get a full refund but was given half, and I probably won't even get THAT. I called back and was told my request for the full refund would have to go to the "escalation committee." What a crock of s--t. I was using ********** for a second room, all fine. But for some reason, this company took my reservation, then charged double. I am disgusted by the representative that lied to me outright. He said "you'll get the full, full, full refund" but it was a lie. I will refer this company to the BBB.HotelPlanner.com

4 starsShe was very helpful but rushed me along a little bit. Im not sure if that was because she wanted to be able to book the only room that suited our needs, perhaps. But it was only after I reserved the room that I was told that the reservation was nonrefundable. I was disappointed in that and wonder if this is a new reality in the hotel industry?HotelPlanner.com
