They charged me $29.95 five times for one search! My bank asked if the charges were legit. I said no, so my debit card was closed. Now I have to go get a new card. What a scam. Do not use this website!

Def 0 if possible. This is complete BS and is fraud in trying to opt out of your info on the site. It asks you to confirm just to turnaround and say the verification link has expired after 0.p1 seconds. I know it's to verify your email which is not "opting out" of anything and a lie. POS business which is the rasp it has a BBB rating of an F! Do not sell my info and get it off your website!!!!

Information.com posed lies that I had embezzlement charges. I was never contacted on this subject. There were never any real charges, warrants or questioning about this from anyone or anywhere. This happened a few years ago. I haven't been in the state for approximately 20 years where this was dreamed up. My entire family saw this false information. My husband left me after this with my kids. Found and married another woman. My mom wrote me out of her will. I haven't been able to find a job since this false information was published. Seriously, something needs to be done about this company and their lies. My current husband looked himself up out of curiosity. They have his son's criminal record under his name. Same name. One senior and one junior. Evidently these people are not doing their homework. They did a fine job with ruining my life. Years I can't get back. I feel as if they robbed me blind of my own future. They will not remove these accusations from my name. Any lawyers out there? This is a true winnable case of slander.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This is a total scam and I can't cancel it because they claim they have no record of my email address.

Beware Of Fake Free Search Services! These scammers claim to offer a FREE search, but then they sneak in a $.99 fee for the "initial search." After that, they charge your card $29.99 without your authorization. To make matters worse, I cant even sign in because it says I dont have an account! I had to contact ****** to block them, as there's no other way to stop the charges. Be careful out there!

I was curious to see what kind of information was out there about myself so I paid 99 cents to look myself up. Much of it was correct, but it said that I owned a business at an my old address, which I didn't. The worst part was that it said my sexual predator status was inconclusive and that it couldn't say for sure I wasn't on a predator list. What the ******* I'm a teacher! People pay me to come to their homes and teach their children. I'm grateful they've used reputable background check companies. To rub it in I ended up subscribed to some kind of service that costs 40 dollars a month!! They must have their best people on the small print because I never would have agreed to that. I'm in the process of trying to get all of my information removed from misinformation.com. I hope you can too!!!
