I paid for a .99 cent search. Then was charged another 6.99. Then today 7-22-25 charged another *****. In less than 4 days Information.com has charge over $40. That is poor practice on company practices. The results were inaccurate. I did not authorize to be enrolled in the full package at ***** simply the one time .99. All disclosures and charges should be transparent. The website also doesnt give you the option to cancel the subscription in the settings. Highly disappoints. Email on file is *********************** and I used my ****** to pay for the original purchase of $0.99 attatch to a card that ends in 5429. I have emailed the contact email located on the website to cancel my membership and hopefully just delete the account. I'd like to see the $***** back too. Can't locate any of the charges on the website either in Billing history. Not very transparent if you want to keep clients.Business Response

Have contacted the business several times through email and have submitted several opt out forms for them to delete all my info but it keeps popping up. I signed up for the .99 trial to look up an individua, I canceled after I was done looking, it was just the one person. I was charged .99 on Mar 7 then charged 3.99 on the same day. There are several failed transactions listed on your account, as our system automatically attempted to collect the subscription up until the recent transaction for $9.90 on 7/13/2025. Our system attempts different billing amounts if the full amount of $29.99 is not available, which is why you have seen a charge for $9.90 after several failed attempts.

Information.com advertised free background checks. Then wanted $0.99 for a PDF file. I just got charged $35.13 for an unlimited reports that I did not authorize.
