    My family and I are being harassed and have got people telling us they got the information from this site. I do not work for a jail yet show that as my address. you list people not even related to me. you have somehow got my work phone number. I am being harassed. I want my information stopped. I have been attacked by people and this is bringing harm and threats to my family and it's members remover this information period.the only settlement I am seeking right now is removal of my families emails, work phone numbers and families home ************ next option is legal.

    I would like my information removed from this site as they do not have my permission to post my information to the public. as soon as I viewed their website they had all updated details on me. I did not provide them any information what so ever and I opted out. i requested my data be removed and they are refusing to remove anything regardless that it's false details names associated people etc. "We are not able to remove all the information related to your name when there are other people who are fine with the information being posted"///they request details about me that I never provided them with in order to remove me. "We do not have the availability to edit, remove, or add information to our reports as it is automatically put together from public databases.We recommend verifying that public entities such as your local court house, clerk's office, etc. have the most up-to-date information and advise you to further address any concerns with them.----We have received your opt-out request, but we require additional information in order to process it.---The following information is requested so that we may successfully remove your information:////I am not giving them a single detail.     Information.com is advertised as a free service. After doing a search they charged me $.99 for the report (which I authorized--see attached). However, when I got the receipt, it was for $6.99. I did not authorize this. Next, I was signed up for a monthly subscription which I also did not authorize. I do not wish for an explanation of charges, but only to cancel immediately and refund the $6.99. I am within the date to cancel my free trial. The date of this complaint will serve as official notice. Please furnish the confirmation number for this cancellation. I attempted to cancel online but there is no vehicle to do this through our account. I also attempted to send an email, but it came back that they had higher than normal volume. Thank you.

The remaining transactions are showing as "failed", which means they were not processed by your financial institution.

    If you have incurred any overdraft fees, we advise you to follow up with your bank for a solution regarding this matter. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist in any fees associated with your bank account.

    I made a search one time for a cost of what I thought was .99. But was charged .99 plus 6.99 then the next month charged *****. I have had Covid and been unable to check on it until now. When looking at my bank statement this month I was charged ***** yet again. I want to get the two months refunded plus the 6.99 and the subscription I did not make canceled.     This morning November 20th 2024 I ordered a $0.99 report on information.com about a couple hours later I received text messages from my bank asking me about several charges I go in and look the 99 Cents has been charged as well as $6.99 and ***** I immediately texted my bank I go back to the website information.com and pull up my account which wasn't even a free trial it just said 99 cents I avoided all the different buttons that were extras but I went in and under my account I canceled I don't know what I canceled I didn't order it but I want my money back I'm so tired of these scam companies charging you for things you didn't ask for and I am absolutely *****% certain *****

    I only requested 1 report for 99 cents. I never authorized a continued billing. They continued to charge me for additional reports that I did not get, authorize or request.     This company secretly ran a 6.99 charge after I got a report on a person which was supposed to be.99. After contacting the company by email they charged an additional ***** without my consent. They stated I agreed to terms. The charges were in small fine print and not obvious. I will report this as fraudulent as I did not authorize. Tried canceling before the trial period. Company is not willing to do anything about this. I was able to find out how to cancel the accounts (I supposedly signed up for a second one) by Reddit search. I want my refund of unauthorized charges

    Today, I received an alert on a credit agency website indicating that my personal information might have been compromised and available online. Concerned about this, I followed a link to Information.com, where I was informed that details including my name could be accessible. I was offered a report for a fee of $1.00 to view the specifics of the compromised information, so I decided to sign up.After completing the transaction, I found multiple unexpected charges pending on my credit card, beyond the initial $1.00. These include two charges of $29.99 each and an additional $6.99 charge. These charges were not transparent during the sign-up process, and I was not informed that this report would result in such additional fees. I feel mislead and conned by the lack of price transparency.Details of the Issue:Date of Transaction: [12 Nov 2024]Amount Charged: Total of $67.97, comprising two charges of $29.99, one charge of $6.99, and one charge of $1.00.Nature of the Dispute: Misleading and excessive charges. The advertised $1.00 fee was not reflective of the actual cost, and the additional charges were not clearly disclosed or explained upfront. This lack of transparency feels deceptive and unfair.Attempts to Resolve: After noticing the excessive charges, I immediately canceled my subscription within five minutes of signing up and after viewing the *** report.
