Went to there website to do a 1$ search. I did not subscribe to a monthly charge. They charged me 29$ wth. This is beyond ridiculous with these web sites.Business Response

Information.com has my information listed on there website, name, address, family members information as well. This is an invasion of my privacy and safety for some members of my family as there work requires our address to be kept confidential. this scam is on a site called information.com, this site advertises that you can get public records for $.99. Whenever I want to purchase a record, I got billed the $.99 and a $30 weekly subscription charge on top of it. It never said anything about this in the terms of condition and they make it virtually impossible to cancel on the website. They also do not reply to any phone calls or emails. This is a known scam that anyone can look up, which is what I shouldve done before giving them my personal data.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I have already filed a complaint against this company once. On January 6th (transaction still pending on bank statement) y'all took out ANOTHER $29.99. My account isn't even active. You did do a refund on all of the charges prior to this NEW incident. I demand that the refund of $29.95 be placed/credited back on my account, and fully delete my acount and remove my credit card off your system. Your website doesn't even allow the option to remove your credit card. There should be class action lawsuit, done on your company!!! y'all are thieves and give out old, or incorrect information.

Company charged me twice for the initial $0.99 intro. and then charged me $29.99 for a monthly auto renewal I did not sign up for now was it made clear that by agreeing to the $0.99 initial charge that I was also agreeing to the subscription. There was no evident disclaimer as to a recurring charge and when that charge was made the document that arrived today said I had until Dec 4th to cancel or address the renewal, only problem is that date was two days ago. Website has no place I can see where I can cancel the subscription.This company refused to refund me the funds on the very day the charge was made as I contacted them to cancel the subscription and refund the money so absolute zero use was made of the service for the billed month in dispute.They owe me $0.99 for double charging that amount, and $29.99 for the renewal subscription I was not properly informed I was going to be charged for going forward.Business Response
