1 starI can’t believe how many people have filed complaints , including me, and this company remains in business. Sales people lied I tried to cancel and I’m told I’m in a 12 month contract!? They will report me to credit bureau if I don’t pay They used my credit card for auto pay without permission Service is NOT what was promised…. Need I go on? 1 starI wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. BELIEVE the reviews. This is a terrible company. I signed up for the service and had to literally call Customer Service 5 times in 3 weeks to get them to come back. This feels like a scam. 1 starDo not trust this company. Talk to a rep to put my account on hold. They messaged me to with an appointment. I declined. they set a different appointment. I declined. A tech showed up at my home and didn't ring the doorbell did half of the service and left when I was not home and now they are trying to charge me. Customer service said that even though I declined the service they came out anyway because I did not give them a different date for the service. 1 starPromise a comprehensive product that only requires application every 2 months, but then conveniently require numerous intermediate visits to even give the appearance of insect control. In the year+ I gave their product offering a chance to “work,” insect sightings/issues only increased further. Had a technician in to spot treat a common seasonal Florida ant intrusion with their “superior” product, that after a week hadn’t addressed the issue… I the placed a commonly available bait trap from a hardware store and the issue was completely resolved in ~72 hours. Not sure how this company remains in business, other than by otherwise fraudulent means… it makes zero sense from a business/common-sense standpoint to offer a service that requires so many re-applications (fuel, labor, insurance-risk, etc) at individual residences anyways. 1 starThis is a lying, cheating organization that has not sense of morality. They failed to to their job to acceptable standards. We cancelled and they now are trying to bill for a discount taken on a job only half completed. Further, they violated our HOA rules by soliciting work without calling ahead. 1 starSalesman told me to give it a try, even though I had already made it clear that HOA has their own service, and we have no control over what service is selected. He said if it was cancelled right after the service (which he said he did), I would not be billed. I have gotten countless of payment reminders, and even scheduled a maintenance appointment I was not made aware of. I am now in impending trouble with HOA for "requesting services outside of the contract" due to them showing up unannounced to the property. I have contacted the salesman since the day after he came, asking to please cancel the service and delete my account, and he promised he would take care of it on multiple occasions. I have just received a new payment reminder and continue to be told "Yeah, I'll take care of it. Don't worry." Watching through the cameras, I can see that all they have done is knock stuff off the windows, and not even spray any sort of agent anywhere on the property. Stay away from this malpractice of business. I would give it 0 starts if it were an option.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

1 starSo my salesman said, just try us through the egg cycling and if you aren't happy, you don't continue. (spoiler alert- not true) If they were as good as they claim, why lie? If you do an awesome job, then people will want you and maybe in some places there are good salesmen and the techs do the right thing. DAVID F, owner and a local guy who has some good commercial products, needs to rethink the residential service. I was caught at a bad time, during the death of a family member and trusted a salesman telling me a story that simply wasn't true. (stupid.. I know better!). They aren't sustainable in the residential market and they either need to go back and revamp their sales department (Sales guys at the top... yikes! ) and maybe operations too... they don't seem to be consistently delivering either. However sales, come on folks... you are the death of Mr F's residential services. GET OUT.. and stop lying ... be transparent and if you can't, don't sell it. Why do you find a need to contract people in? You don't need a contract if you deliver the goods! Lying will take your company down. Basic 101 sales... don't lie! Even when you catch us at a weak moment... you are killing your own business by doing stupid sales tactics, that didn't work for used car sales. Trust Pilot reviews... take a look at 72% give them one star and most would give 0 if possible. Of course they magically tout awesome reviews on their own website... hmmm interesting-not-a-true factoid! They don't care about the customers. Take a look at their mission statement! There isn't even a customer/consumer reference, just sustainability which will never happen in your residential business, not with current sales 'strategies'. Shameful to treat people this way. Yes, I was conned... ugh! Echoshield and your ranking department heads, save your business and leave retail alone ... you are not my friends. 1 starAwful company. The agent who pitched the services to me explicitly told me the signup would include a comprehensive treatment in and around the house for all possible pest control issues, including the cockroaches. Before signing the agreement I explicitly asked him if the cancellation was free of any obligations and he confirmed that despite 12-months contract I was free to cancel at any time with no obligations. I just had to call the office and inform them about my decision. The deal sounded very good and I immediately signed up and received the first treatment on the same day.
Several days after I went through the emails and read the Ecoshield contract and was surprised to discover that the cancellation involved the fee of $200 dollars. I tried to call, but the lines were busy, so I waited until the next service and immediately informed the person about the situation. He called the office on my behalf and reported the issue. He also urged me to call the agent. I left the voicemail on agent's phone, but he never bothered to call me back. I reported the issue to the office over the phone several times and I kept asking every serviceman after that to report this issue and request a competent person to call me back. No one ever did over the course of next six months.
Meanwhile, I discovered the cockroach infestation in my house and alerted the Ecoshield. Turned out, their "comprehensive care" service did not include the German roaches. I had no idea what the difference between regular roaches and German roaches were, but when the person pitched the service to me and I asked about cockroaches, he promised that their treatment was also included with the service. I ended up paying $300 more for that lie.
I eventually cancelled the service and informed the company that I would not be paying the cancellation fee, since the agent clearly lied to me about it, but they have been nagging me ever since and threatening to involve third-party collectors.Ecoshield Pest Solutions

1 starThe solicitor came to my door in the gated community I live it, claiming to be working on other peoples houses nearby. Weird because he was just a salesperson, not a technician. So how did he get through the gate? Shady.He convinced me to get service for ********* ants and cockroach, by claiming they used peppermint oil and another essential oil I dont remember. Complete lie. They sprayed Fipronil, which is a super common insecticide. Harmful to lizards, bees, rabbits, and lots of other small mammals and insects. He said safe for children, families and pets. Repeated it, even. Wow! The willingness to lie is astounding. I called and cancelled and explained what happened, and there was no offer of money back or anything. For literally lying to my face. 5 starsWow! These guys have gone above and beyond all expectations service wise for the last 2 years. Im shocked to read these negative reviews. It seems like the majority of people just are not a big fan of the soliciting they do to gain new customers. It is a bummer to see so many people against young people working hard to make a living doing a hard job like door knocking having to deal with so many negative people.
