Apex media was hired to provide me with a ****** listing and voice activation. They took my money $717.98 June 20th. I have tried numerous times to contact them for my money back. All they do is give you the run around and point blame on the customer after they don't follow through on there end. **** ***** my account manager email address *************************************** He was terrible to work with no communication what so ever and would always lie and say he would fix the problem. He would go weeks to a month with no response. He went as far as saying I will give your money back if you give apex media a good review on BBB. These people should not be in business and someone needs to take there LLC away for stealing money from there clients.Business Response

We attempted to contact Mr. **** to gather as much information as possible regarding the complaint and the open dispute with the bank this former client has. Two separate dashboards were built out and he was published successfully on the premium citations we advised him of. He proceeded to advise me we were a scam and that he would be opening a new complaint against me as the head of customer service. This former client is not open to a resolution and we wish for this complaint to be closed. This client is terminated and not satisfied with the service we provided he had enrolled into. He focused more on planning to tarnish the company name further than discussing how we can put our best foot forward.

On or about July, I was cold called by one of the staff at Apex Media Solutions regarding my ****** listing. Having had issue with ****** since beginning my business, I asked several questions regarding my specific concern and was assured that this is something that their specialized team of ****** experts could help me with. So, against my better judgment based on similar companies in the past, I signed up. A few weeks passed and they reached out for the onboarding and went over my information, at which point I asked about the help with my ****** listing specifically, as my ****** business listing would only show up in an area that I didnt service. This person stated that they didnt handle things like that and this went against what I originally signed up for it in the first place. I then, a few weeks later around about August 10th, reached out to my account manager to ask what can be done and never heard anything back from anyone. No response from texts, voicemails, nothing. I reached out three weeks later and had several conversations with them and wanted to terminate the contract on the grounds that I was promised something that they CANNOT deliver. No success.I then get assigned a new account manager and she cant seem to understand that I want NO FURTHER contact from **** or any of its staff until it is time to cancel this bogus contract from these do-nothing leeches. There are way too many people like myself trying to figure out how to better themselves then you have companies such as this who prey on anyone who is trying to get ahead. Its pathetic. The rating they have is a little generous, if Im the judge and it should be illegal to trap someone into a bogus contract and steal their money while you sit back and do nothing on your end.Business Response

All I want is out of this bogus contract that is charging my account $199/month AND $19.99/month for absolutely nothing. Your product was misrepresented, as stated above, your manager avoided my emails, texts, and calls for almost three weeks, and that is simply unacceptable for $2627.88/year. I wouldn't accept it from my employees and I would hope you wouldn't accept it from yours (although it appears to be your business model). Stop the drafts from my account; I don't want money back, I don't wish to speak to one of your con-ar.... excuse me, "salespeople". I want out of this contract and I wish to have zero contact in the future regarding your services. That's it.

I agreed to let APEX Media Solutions in ******, ** improve my standing on ****** and other search engines. I agreed to pay $249 a month. When the first charge came out it overdrew my checking account. I called and said I needed to cancel. I told them I lived on Social Security in the amount of $1470 a month. That I agreed to it because I was talked into it in an aggressive manner. I sold a macrame wall hanging every few months and this wasn't a significant source of income. They kept calling asking me to do a video to verify my business with ******. Every time I said, no, I need to cancel this, I cannot afford it. They never did. I never did the video because I didn't want them to do any more work. They finally left me alone when I called the **************** number and told them they were scamming me and I was reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They charged me a total of $798: 2 charges of $249, 1 charge of $199.99 one charge of $99. On my computer I can see they got my business on ******, but when other people look it's either much farther down the list or not there at all. I think they scammed me somehow because of this. My main request is for them to refund my $798. If they did work on my account at all, I think it was to get it to show on my computer only somehow. They claim they've done a lot of work on my account and for that reason I couldn't get a refund. I don't believe they did and I need my money back.Business Response

I started out with the company as a customer looking for being searchable on the Voice searches of anywhere where you can perform a voice search. I quickly got sucked into a consultation about them helping me more visible online, helping me w/ getting reverified on ******, and finally about advertising. I did agree to the first 2, but not into the advertising, since the monthly fee was already more than what I had for marketing of my business in the year. I kept getting on meetings for only 30 minutes of my "specialist" **** tried to sell me marketing. I felt pressured by ****, to constantly buy something for advertising, and no actual advice was being offered to help either my visibility or ****** listing, where I still had to do everything myself. The only "leads" that I got was the ones that I was finding from my own social media groups that were turning into tangible sales. **** then did sell me on what I was lead to believe was a one month trial of the campaign ads, which was 8 for $199. After a month I was going to decline, but they charged my card on file for $299. It took 2 weeks to become reimbursed after bringing it to there attention right away. **** was now trying to sell me a website for about $1000. I declined to pay for that upfront, and asked for a mock up of what it would look like, he declined. Friday the 15th of November of this year, they charged me $199 again without authorization at 5 am, meaning it was now set to automatic, and they were not authorized to charge that amount. I have never been given any digital receipts for the charges on my card, only the physical statements from my *********** I called on Friday, Monday, and today before I got anyone to finally reverse the charges, and cancel out my account. After 6 months, I suffered the same story as I have read here on the complaints, and that is when I felt compelled to share my experience as well.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I have still been contacted by the company on an issue that I paid for with ****** Business listing, that they initiated promised to resolve which they never did, and now the "services" that they said that they have supplied, which I was only granted access to during my cancelation were not anything that helped my small business, but only hurt my search results. They have hurt many small businesses across the country, and now I have to hire someone else to undo everything that they have done that would actually help my business. I think that this company is only out to harm small businesses like myself, and I can't even pull my own business up on devices when I try to voice search my business, which was the initial call I received. I would prefer to have a full refund of al "services" charged, since I can not find any actual service that they have provided for my company.

They never were able to do this on there end, and now I am left to do this myself, since this isn't even a service that they can do as a third party according to ******. I am rejecting this response because: this company only chooses to do the bare minimum of calling me. They always call when I am driving to pick my daughter up from school. They have yet to handle the situation at all, and I did call them back within 20 minutes of leaving the voicemail asking them to make a call back to me. They are clearly avoiding actually responding to me. I hired them to help get my business verified originally with ******, and only last Friday, January 10th, 2025, over 5 weeks after letting the company go, was I able to actually verify my business myself with ******, as they as a manager of my seo made it worse for me, and misrepresented the company that I own. There was no actual attempt to resolve any issues, instead this company only created more issues for me to solve for myself. There are multiple complaints against this company, and every story that I have read is the same story that has happened to me and my business. They have completely refunded other companies, and I believe should completely refund my business as well.

This company reached out to me from the following phone number ************. They stated they assist businesses get registered on voice search. They also set up an appointment to go over the process for getting me set up with their system. They then proceeded to send me emails with this information. They also charged me $99.99 for the transaction. The appointment was scheduled for 8 am this morning. I never received a call. I discussed with **** about providing services for my company on September 24, 2024. I have asked repeatedly for evidence of the work that they are doing but keep being told they are doing great things and working on my account. I was told that they were doing updates and fixing my ****** Business account, but they have not done anything on that account. I am actively working on and developing that account. I have asked to see results of any work and they have not been able to provide any evidence or proof. Each phone call is basicly a sales call. I have not been able to get a yes, we will cancel your account because no one seems to have that responsiblitly but they can sure sell and get you to buy more things. I paid for a landing page to support a part of my business only to discover that they took over my website, costing me business. I am rejecting this response because:They assigned a case manager who was supposed to look into the situation and has not provided feedback back during the assigned imposed deadline. When asked received a vague response. This is typically of this business. Happy to take money from a client, but when asked to refund money based on deceptive practices and poor quality of work find ways not to make a paying customer whole. I even softened my stance and just asked for a partial refund accepting a loss but even then They are unwilling to take care of a customer. This company isnt honest or reliable. More people need to understand the level of dishonesty they have towards customers. Im just trying to run a small business as a 100% Disabled Veteran and now they have robbed me of trust and the belief companies cared about people over deceptive practices.

Apex Media Solutions LLC defrauded me of $2,988. Other complaints on this website allege fraud by the company, however, most of those parties were charged only several hundred dollars. I am a senior citizen, and I am not technically savvy about search optimization and website building. I acted in good faith and trusted the company. They took advantage of me without any moral compunction. On July 26, 2024, I received a marketing call from ****** ***** who claimed to be from APEX Media Solutions *****************************. I later realized my contact and all subsequent dealings were with APEX Media Solutions of ******************************************************************* The Seattle based company APEX Media Solutions appears to be a credible business with no obvious connections to APEX Media Solutions in *******. By contrast, APEX Media Solutions LLC domiciled in ******* has a terrible online reputation. I suspect they initially misrepresented themselves to cover their terrible reputation. Moreover, the contract I received from Apex Media Solutions does not contain a company address, nor is it signed by an employee of the company.APEX Media Solutions promised to raise my rankings on ****** by optimizing my Wix website, my ******** business page, and my Linked-in and Instagram profiles by August 30, 2024, and to work with me for one year to improve my website. Immediately after I paid problems ensued and the companys lack of professionalism became apparent. Over the next month I dealt with numerous different employees who often spoke quickly and incomprehensibly. All were young. None seemed to know what they were doing. I never received any of the agreed services. More egregiously, the actions of Apex Media Solutions LLC resulted in my ****** Business Profile being deregistered on August 18, impeding my business and causing reputational harm. In July of 2024, Ms. *********** enrolled into our program. A thorough explanation of services provided by Apex Media Solutions occurred during a telephone call that lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. There was no ****** Business Profile prior to enrollment. We assisted in establishing the ****** Business Profile as agreed upon and published the business information on premium citations in accordance with the package selected. Following the enrollment we established our standard appointment process with Ms. *********** in order to keep consistent communication regarding progress and updates.
Per ******'s guidelines each business has to follow a verification process. Suspension occurs due to ******'s guidelines and we are trained to assist with this if it does occur. We did so effectively for the client. The appeal was submitted by our team and the listing became live. Suspension did not occur due to any fault of Apex Media. This account was flagged for management review and an assigned supervisor attempted to make contact on multiple occasions to no avail via telephone and email. After these attempts to resolve the concerns we were advised to cease contact with Ms. *********** via a family member and have respected that request. In addition, Ms. *********** has opened a dispute through her bank in order to retrieve the funds (which are outlined as nonrefundable) instead of allowing us as an ethical business to resolve this issue through our management team. Following the open dispute Ms. *********** then decided to open and file the complaint here with the Better Business Bureau despite our attempts to resolve this amicably and allowing us the opportunity to do so.
We are deeply apologetic that this was unable to be resolved as outlined in our policies. All services were fully rendered as outlined, agreed upon verbally and electronically through the work order received. None of the work has been retracted despite the open dispute with the bank which combats the claims made that we have negatively impacted her online presence. I am rejecting this response because: It is filled with inaccuracy. It as if Ms ****** manuractured her opinion. She only came on the scene after my copalints were filed with my bank.The marketing call was 30 minutes. I had a business profile for many years with ******. It was set up by a ****** representative. One of the **** who spoke with me by phone commented that often there are snags in ****** verifications. I was not unique.
At the time I notified **** that I wished a refund and withdraw from their service, ****** had not been verified, nor was Facebook.
I was marketed a program to build web presence via a number of resources they used . They used software from ********. They referred to it as Voice Onboarding. I believed that the biweekly consults with their representatives would help me build web presence. Due to my loss of trust in their program I appealed to cancel **** services on Aug. 30, 2024 and notified my bank credit card.
I find as of today that the work they did do has been retracted and my accesss the their app no longer exists.
I contend that this has been a scam and I have asked to have my funds returned

We have exhausted all options in order to assist our former client, Ms. ************ By wrongly initiating a dispute with her bank ensured our hands to be tied. As outlined previously we followed all necessary steps to provide a resolution and I find it extremely necessary to mention we have no control over the major search engines or the verification processes they require. This was process extensively outlined by our team along with management once the account was escalated. All services were fully rendered as outlined in our work order. We can not allow a client who claimed fraud against the company to still utilize services in our software that does not adhere with our company policy. As soon as the dispute was opened Ms. *********** ceased being an active client with the company. There is no dashboard access due to her no longer being a client.
The publication was completed successfully for a total of 57 premium citations that directly impact visibility for the business. The ****** Business Profile which of course has incredible value to the business was created and established. Ms. *********** will have both aspects of the work we completed for the lifetime of her business. This is not an opinion, this is factual data presented not only to the client but, to the banks as well.
Ms. *********** also instructed no further communication so we are unclear why this complaint has been opened months after her choosing to resolve this matter through the banks than with our company and management team. I wish for this complaint to be closed as soon as possible due to continuous false information being presented by a former client.

The merchant continues to make false claims. For approximately six weeks after I initiated the dispute with my bank, I continued discussions with the merchant to allow them to resolve the matter. As mentioned in my initial complaint, the staff members were unprofessional and didnt seem competent. They would make appointments and not keep them. At other times the calls became aggressive. I was ultimately overwhelmed by these interactions prompting my son to email them and tell them to cease all communications.
My bank clearly regards my complaint as credible and has issued me a full refund.

Please describe your complaint in detail They were suppose to provide services after doing an onboarding call - They did not show for onboarding call twice - I tried contacting them by email and phone and only got a runaround - they say i was not there but i rearranged my schedule to be there waiting by the phone and they never showed.They gaslit me the whole time - real true gaslighting. Not letting me talk and saying they had the wrong the phone number - my phone number is in my email signature. i emailed them many times trying to get to this point. They refuse to cancel and refuse to refund. They simply go on talking about i diddn't know what i bought. i litereally said i don't want it cancel it and refund my money 15 times. both on the phone and by email. they refuse.They took $598 from me and did nothing other than gaslight me on a phone call and they actually said words - you just have buyers remorse - then thats the exact wording when you sign on here - do you have buyers remorse. that is huge red flag for a scam. they know the legal language to use. - i never received the service or product.Business Response

We are pleased to inform you that we attempted to amicably resolve this complaint with our former client Ms. ******* The conversation required additional patience and focus to address the client's heightened emotions and expectations. We did terminate her account upon request and assured her no further transactions would be attempted in the future. The former client has never accessed her portal or the publication we successfully completed and challenged each attempt to review this work. Management outlined in detail as best as possible our processes, appointments, and managerial review. We are confident that we handled the concerns brought to us as best as we could. The account is not eligible for a refund as services were fully rendered for payment received.We are open to discussing this matter further with Ms. ******* Thank you for your attention to this matter, and please feel free to contact us if any further information is required.

I am rejecting this response because: there is no communicating with you - you simply yelled at me telling me i would get no refund. you did no work on my account - there is no portal to access. these are lies. nothing was sent and you did not attend the set up appointments. You are lying and then yell at me more lies.

Per the image attached we successfully completed the publication on a total of 58 premium citations as outlined during the enrollment. We did also make attempts to follow through with our process to assist with the ****** Business Profile as well. There were very high tensions on the call but the recording was reviewed by our quality assurance team.
Neither employee who assisted in trying to resolve this manner deviated from our standards of customer service practices and training. Disconnecting the call and attempting another outbound call 24 hours later was followed as outlined in our process in order to allow the situation to naturally diffuse. We do wish to resolve this in a swift, professional manner. After two attempts to make contact again we have ceased until further notice or a call back from Ms. ******* Before any further false claims are made against our company I wish for this complaint to be closed. We have provided sufficient documentation and followed through on our outlined services as agreed upon. The account with Ms. ****** is terminated and we have respected her decision.

I am rejecting this response because:They did not do the work because they couldn't have because they did not have access - i waited fro the calls and they did not call - there was no way for me to contact them. they are lying. they have been through this before because they knew the exact language to try and rope me into saying that would get them off the hook. this is a scam business. they call take your money and do not deliver - $600 and no work done on my behalf. if they had done work they would prove it by showing the work. no work has been provided. no portal provided. nothing.
