    I just happened to run across the UNMASK.COM website put my name in and cannot believe the very misleading information - complete lies about me, bad information, defamation of character, information that has absolutely nothing to do with my lifestyle. It must be removed immediately, on the website I'm listed as a felon and have to a criminal record also other concerns that are criminal that have absolutely nothing to do with me ever. I have never been to jail before in my life. This deceitful information to earn a dollar or more must be removed immediately or I will escalate. Remove my name and personal details everything and I will have my family mentioned to check in addition. This will be escalated within the next few days. Remove it immediately now. Better Business Bureau I recommend that your team members put their name in on this website and see if the same thing is happening to them so-called court records felonies really horrible fabricating to make a dollar.     This website is displaying personal information about me. I have followed the instructions the company gives for opting out, but nothing has changed, and its been more than a month. The listing with my private information is still viewable by anyone who goes on the internet. I have heard nothing from the company, despite contacting them multiple times.     Unmask.com is a site that collects personal information some readily and some not so readily found. It compiles (sometimes and exhaustive list of) previous addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and relatives making it easy for anyone to find. ALL of this information can be and is used to verify a person's identity when applying for credit. I have been asking since February 3rd, 2024, both through their opt out and email to have my husband's information removed. More recently my own. My husband has had several recent attempts to access his credit. While I cannot with certainty say unmask.com is the source of information being used for this purpose, it certainly IS a source. I'm not interested in hearing from them that they merely compile information readily accessed on the web and that I need to go to the sources making it available. I am not able to find what those sources are. What I am able to find is mine and my husband's personal information history on their website with no trouble at all. I've been told several times the information has been successfully removed from their database and can take up to ******************************************** the event it is not. I've done this, several times to no avail. What I want, is for mine and my husbands information removed, and promptly.     My husbands information is still on Unmask.com at the following link ****************************************************************************************************************

    I feel their response is also a bit disingenuous. My information has only been partially removed. While my name does not show up in the Unmask search, it does show that 4 people are found while only directly showing the information of 3. This is also true of my husband. If you look to the left of the screen of the search for *********************************, ************************* (maiden name) or ***************************, it shows cities in which we have lived. If you CLICK on that city it will bring you to another unmask page that asks a series of questions in order to further identify an individual.     I am rejecting this response because: The relationship between unmask.com and *************** I mentioned and showed screenshots of has been ignored. While mine and my husband's names do not directly appear in the search, if you look to the left per the screen shots I previously shared, it will show more results available than what you can directly see. Once my name is searched, it shows to the left how many are in each state. If you select ******** it only directly shows the results for 3 people but again, if you look to the left there are FIVE results. If you click on Hot Springs, it redirects you to their sister site, *************** where my information can be bought. Again, in both the unmask.com and *************** it says "do not share or sell my personal information" I have opted out of both yet unmask is still redirecting my name under my current and previous cities as well as my husband's to their sister site, *************** where it can be bought. This would be the selling part of their "do not share or sell" I am trying to still opt out of. Unmask is a redirection portal, pointing interested consumers toward ***********, their other website where they are still selling our information.

    This website is displaying personal information about me, and I have followed all the standard procedures to opt out and have my record deleted. This was done weeks ago, and I have not received any reply to my messages regarding why my record has not been removed, which the website claims should take no longer than 7 days. Every website I have ever dealt with in this matter has complied and removed my record promptly, except unmask.com. I am requesting that the BBB review this and demand that they comply with my opt out as is my right to do so. I have contacted several times with no response and this is very unsettling and makes me feel like my privacy has been violated.

    I was not a user/consumer of this website, and am unaware how it got my personal information. Unmask.com gave my home address, personal phone number, and my minor children's personal phone number to a man that is dangerous against myself and children. All he did was put my name in ******* and the first thing that came up was Unmask.com and it had my information clearly there for anyone to lookup- he didn't have to use the website even. This is scary and dangerous and I don't understand how this is legal whatsoever. Attached is the picture I received letting me know he knows where we are now.

    I requested your company to remove and DELETE my personal and private information from your database completely. You did so promptly. Thank you for your prompt action. However, this morning I noticed that the same information involving my address, my phone number and other private and personal information reappeared on the internet by Unmask.com. Providing this information on the internet to the public poses a breach of my privacy and poses a safety risks to me and my family.     This is a data brokerage website and they refuse to amend a listing that includes my phone number (wrongly associated with someone who isn’t me). They pretend they have no ability to remove or edit listings as they come from public entities.

    They have a history of scamming people. See company reviews on trustpilot
