Hi,Over and over I have asked unmask.com to delete my personal information from the internet through opt out. I joined delete me to make sure its deleted, ye if you go on Copilot it shows all my personal information and says it is coming from unmask.com. I want to make sure these AI programs do not source information that is opt out by me, I asked to be removed, yet copilot says unmask.com has my information and is using it as a data broker, Please remove my information from all the places you store it.Stop making excuses. We have also received your email regarding this concern, along with screenshots of the Copilot responses to your search.
To further clarify, the record associated with you has already been successfully deleted from our website as of 10/24/2024. The link you have provided opens up to our report search loading page, which automatically inputs the name and location used in the search bar to generate a report. However, since your information has been removed, there will ultimately be no results found at the end of the loading process. Please note, since there are no results, the site may reroute you to a similar background check site where your information might still be available. If you locate your information on a different site, we recommend reaching out to that site directly for assistance in removal.In regards to your information showing in your Copilot response, it appears that Copilot is accessing historical data that was stored prior to your opt-out request being fulfilled. I have submitted several request to have my info removed from Unmask.com. Upon checking to see if my info was still on there (which it is) I attempted to submit another request for removal. I then got an error screen stating my IP is blocked. So not only have they not removed my info, they are now blocking me from submitting anymore request. I have removed my info from several other sites and have never run into theses problems. Its like they are making money off of our personal information and are giving us the run around so they dont have to remove it.Business Response
