***DO NOT USE THIS SITE - CALL THE RESORT/HOTEL DIRECTLY!!***
I used this site to book our trip to back in January 2023. The trip was just this last weekend, March 2023. Reservations.com charged us $116 more than the actual resort! I reached out to Reservations.com, and they asked that I forward them a screenshot of our credit card transaction from them and the paid receipt from the resort, then then would review and get back to me within 7 business days. I did just this and already got a response, 2 days later, denying the reimbursement as they didn't know the rates were going to decrease when we attended. If possible I would give them a negative star!

Like the others, I thought I made reservations through **** ******* ********* ******. The charges were made instantly. When I asked why the charges were made right away, I was told that it’s their policy and that I cannot be refunded if I cancel the reservation. After I said that I will be reporting them to the BBB, he made calls. After several minutes on hold, I was told that the hotel would cancel the reservation and would be issued a refund, except for the $39 service fee. Will see if I will get refunded as the agent said.

Should be a zero star rating. This is a scam. I thought I was booking directly with a hotel. At no point during the booking process did they say my reservation was non-refundable. There were absolutely no disclosures. I called them three times to get my money back and they refused. I cancelled anyway and opened a dispute with my credit card company.
According to the Chase credit card, they were supposed to disclose the fact that it was non-refundable and allow me to opt in to agree to the non-refundable terms.
*********** and ************* all disclose up front that rates are refundable or not. They are reputable businesses.
Reservations.com is very deceptive and should be shut down now!!!

This company set up my reservation. They told me they were having a special. Included in my price was the hotel parking. They lied. When I asked them to listen to our recorded message, (which they said they had,) they refused. I was charged for hotel parking. They would not attempt to resolve this.

Reservations.com is a scam. I ******* the phone number for a particular hotel (******* ******, Shiller Park IL) and got a hold of this company instead. When I asked the phone agent if I was talking to the hotel he said YES. (And a very heavy accent that I had to keep asking him to repeat information.) The rate was almost double, has a 19.99 service fee and total reservation is non-refundable. So, I am stuck with this lousy overpriced reservation as my card has been already charged.
This is FRAUD and a total misrepresentation of the hotel and a rip-off. The hotel said nothing they can do since i went thru a 3rd party agent.
      Zero Stars.

I thought that I was booking through the hotel website. Unfortunately it was through reservations.com. I had to cancel my reservation due to a death in the family. It's been a month and they are still giving me the run around for my refund. They charged me a 34 dollar booking fee which I was unaware of at the time of booking. They are telling me that they have to put through a waiver to see if I receive a refund. My reservation was for 526 dollars and some change. I need to know how to get my refund. This company should not be allowed to do this!!!!!!

Zero stars! Reservations.com is a online scam dealing with fraudulent hotel booking. Should be federally shutdown. The website looks exactly like the hotel you think you are booking. After making your reservation your confirmation is then from a third-party such as ********* and you just ended up paying "$32.04" for what is now a "non refundable" reservation through a third party app. After contacting reservations.com less than 2 mins after we figured it out they basically said the service fees were non-refundable and the "non refundable" reservation could not be changed.

Very misleading website regarding 100% non-refundable policy. Website makes it look like you are booking at hotel website when doing a search. Avoid this website.

I was going to book reservations on Best Western website for 3 days in Chico Ca. So I typed in Best Western and up came the picture of the hotel like it is on their usual website., Well apparently I booked on Reservations.com and was unaware that I had . After booking and before they give you a total of your costs , up comes a total and that you are booked and it is not refundable . ! These 3rd party reservation companies trick you into thinking you’re on the Hotel website and charge exorbitant fees . !! I tried to get refund but unable . Be careful and just call the hotel directly !!

This is a zero star rating. I just tried to make a hotel reservation at Fifth Season Inn in Amarillo, Texas. I clicked on what I thought was the link to the Fifth Season Inn website. What I did not understand was that I was redirected to Reservations.com which looked just like the official Fifth Season Inn site. I booked online and paid with a credit card. Once the reservation was confirmed I was charged a $19.99 service fee. It was then that I realized that I didn't booked directly with Fifth Season Inn, but at Reservations.Com. I called their number to cancel the reservation (made just 5 minutes earlier). The lady told me that I would not be reimbursed and I would lose the entire $85.26 charge. When I threatened to go to the Florida Better Business Bureau she said that they could reimburse me through ******. Based on the BBB complaint provided by ****** * below my question is, why is this company allowed to operate? Is my experience fraudulent or is this a case of buyer beware? I will file a dispute with my credit card company.
