My husband and I had been travelling all day and was going to stop in Springfield Mo.. I found a place I wanted to stay and it said call for rates. I thought I called the actual property even though I knew something was off. The lady quoted me a price and I said not interested in paying that much so she said there's a property 2 miles from there that's cheaper. I confirmed with her 2 miles down from the Bass Pro in Springfield.. she said yes. She said it was non refundable.. I said ok, we were almost there. I hung up the phone and typed in the address and couldn't find it.. googled the property, not one in Springfield. So I checked my email and it was a reservation for 60 miles away! I called back the number (now realizing it was reservations.com) and told them they made a mistake and I was told it was nonrefundable.. I explained again and I kept being told non refundable. Of course I was mad and insisted on getting a refund and they just kept transferring me to someone else until I hung up. Unbelievable!!!! I'm hoping to get the money back through my credit card company. Very upsetting.

Scum of the earth. Misleading tactics, no refund policy when you misunderstand their deceitful advertising, told us to dispute with our credit card company so we did and they're fighting that anyway. This company should not be legal.

I would like to warn everyone not to use Reservations.com to book a hotel room as they do not allow any refunds regardless of the circumstances. I made a reservation on Oct.24th for one night Nov. 22 at Hampton Inn. My credit card was immediately charged rather than at the time of checkin. Upon reading my confirmation, I realized I had booked at the wrong hotel with a similar name. I immediately tried to cancel it so I could re-book but was told NO CANCELLATIONS ALLOWED. I attempted serval time to contact Hampton Inn and reservations.com to explain by situation but to no avail.

So be aware that even if you go to a Hampton Inn website and select a room, you are re-directed to reservations.com. If I had called the hotel, they would have modified the reservation.

So I ended up paying for a room that I cannot use. The room was listed at $96.49 but with the taxes & fees of 28.24 and a service fee of $19.99 it blossomed to $145.02.

LIED, then denied claim for refund.
Was told I was being booked by an MGM hotel agent. Being booked at the Tropicana hotel. Was told the total , including resort fees was $311.52. That nothing more would be owed at the motel. Was promised free parking .
What I got was only $295.53 paid to motel still owed $135 when we arrived. A $15 fee that was not disclosed was charged separately on my account. And I was not booked at the Tropicana but the OYO on tropican st.
I called and complained and asked to cancel. Was told that we could not decided that. I would just go to the motel anyway. And work on getting a refund when I came back. At least for the $135 that I had to pay out of pockets. When asked if we could get a return. I was told that they would escalate it to the recordings office so they could get a recording of my booking which I was excited about because it would prove that I was lied to. I was told it would take 5 to 7 business days to get back to me. When I contacted them 2 weeks later, giving them ample time. I was told that they sent my denial of my escalations. Claim for refund to the wrong email address.
I then asked if I could speak with a supervisor and was told that they did not have any supervisors available to speak with on the number. I called and they did not have another phone number to give me. I did manage to get an email for customer service. Which I plan to contact but I am writing this to make sure no one else makes the mistake of dealing with reservations.com.

This web site uses a chameleon style web site that resembles the actual hotel site you are looking for. If you are not closely paying attention you may accidentally book through them and trying to get an immediate refund after you recolonize this error is highly unlikely. This practice should be criminal as it is almost fraudulent. Beware and AVOID this company at all costs....... because it will with all their junk fees. * this company to the max!

This company has given me the hardest time in trying to get my refund back from a hotel that I refused to stay at because the room was horrible. The hotel told me they would refund me, but reservation.com is refusing because I did not take pictures. They did not try to help in any way and was very rude. I also was unaware that it was a third party reservation. I was literally on the website of the hotel. All I want is my refund back.

Do not use this company! They misrepresent themselves! What a rip off! I thought I was contacting the Hotel directly and I was not. I did not realize this until they sent my confirmation. I was going to attend an event and the event was cancelled due to the presenter's illness. I tried to cancel the reservation 5 days after making the reservation and they said they could not refund my money and if I didn't show up on the date of my arrival, the money would be lost. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! But that doesn't help, because you really don't realize you are using the company until it is too late! I have now called my credit card company and hope they are able to help me get my money back!

Do not use Reservations.com! I reserved a hotel on line thinking it was the hotel’s website! It honestly had ALL the hotel's photos and looked so legit! They NEVER told me it was a third party website! They collected all of my information, charged my card immediately, and charged me $100 over the actual price! I knew something wasn't right immediately after hanging up (poor English, heavy accents for one) and I hunted down the actual hotel's direct, local number. They assured me that the toll-free number was NOT connected to theirs. I called back right away to cancel, and was told by the reservationist, "Chris", that he and the other telephone operators are located in the Philippines. They had spelled my name wrong and my email address! I called my credit card company who told me that they hear of this "type of thing" regularly and assured me I did the right thing by calling them. I now have to watch to make sure they in fact cancel my transaction. Ugh, buyer BEWARE!! These unknowns hijack Google and you think you're on the hotel's website, but aren't!!

I think this business is a scam. The web link makes you think it is a reservation for a hotel but it is an outside business that charges high fees and no refunds. People must know that they will be charged and receive any services. This is a bad business. Do not click on their links or make reservations through this website.

This is a scam business that trolls reservation website searchs and aggressively tries to appear as the native site. It then charges extra money for no services, and literally had it's own "credit card" denied at the motel, causing me to be charged twice. Getting them to refund my money was a hassle and required 7-10 business days, during which I was out of pocket for the money.
