      Terrible! Don't book through this website! They tried to tell me that my entire hotel stay, which I was trying to cancel a month in advance, was nonrefundable. It was over $500 that they wouldn't return. The customer support representative stated that the policy was in the email I received, which said absolutely nothing about it being completely nonrefundable. The only things it stated were nonrefundable were a booking fee of $40 and a cancellation fee of $126. I was on the phone for over an hour trying to get my money back. I saw that they already had a class action lawsuit against them in 2017. It looks like they haven't changed anything!

      This company preys on people who need to book a hotel in a hurry. They use SEO to position themselves at or near the top of a ****** search and their site looks very similar to an actual hotel reservations website. Even if you're in a hurry, slow down, take an extra ***** seconds and make 100% sure you are on the hotel's website, not these thieves and their "reservations.com" scam site. Otherwise you will end up paying "travel agency fees" that are not disclosed until after you pay up front.

      Nothing but A bunch of crooks charged me $30.00 for a reservation that I made myself, would not reccommend ever using them use Expedia!!!

      I called about a reservation for July 19th. Called back on June 25,2024 to cancel and they told me my reservation was non- refundable! I have NEVER heard of such thing! Therefore I am filing this complaint!Also I was trying to write a review and was not allowed to

      They do not make it obvious that they are a 3rd party site, not the direct hotel reservation site. They charge very large extra fees that go directly to them. My son was charged $100+ in taxes and fees from this site, if done directly through the hotel it would have been $22. Do not use this site. It does not save time or effort, only costs you money.

      The practices of reservations.com are very suspect and unethical. They charge over twice the amount for taxes for hotel rooms. When asked for a breakdown of their taxes and why they are more than double what the taxes would have been if booked through the hotels own website, they repeat its a fixed amount. They refused to produce documentation with the breakdown of their taxes and fees.

      Reservations.com is a scam. I booked a hotel room and was under the impression that the cost would be the same as if I booked direct with the hotel itself. The reservations are non-refundable and when you get a live person you realize they are off shore. In essence reservations.com is akin to a Nigerian scam. I paid $40 more than what the actual hotel room cost and I was on hold for 1 hour before I got the non chalant, I don't care about your problem jerk. He kept saying so you want me to cancel and I said I want my refund he said no refund. He was going to cancel my reservation BUT not refund my money. It's too bad nobody can stop these scammers and if you ****** them you will find numerous reviews like mine. They are scam artists making money off of innocent people. If I could I'd give them ZERO stars

      Went to Reservations.com by mistake when the on-line heading read: courtyard by Marriott reservations. When I found that it was not Marriott, I tried to get out of the web site, but instead of not having the option to "place my order" it was automatically charged to my **************** account twice. The charge was over $100 more than Marriott would have charged. When asked for our money back, we were informed that their terms of use say that the charge is non-refundable. Calling them resulted in the statement that we agreed to their terms when we put in the credit card number and it was non-refundable. As we tried to pursue our claim, I was told that they had to cancel the reservation before they could place the request for a refund. Then, they denied the refund because the reservation was cancelled! Request to reinstate the reservation if they were not going to refund the money, we were told that they contacted the hotel and we violated the hotel cancellation policy so the hotel would not refund the money. This was a blatant lie. They never contacted the hotel, our cancellation did not violate their cancellation, they never received any money from Reservations.com so there was nothing they could refund and they would be happy to reinstate the original reservation if Reservations.com called them to reinstate. This web-site is a total scam. Buyer-beware. Do not go to this site or Expedia who represents them. Only go the hotel web-site and check to be sure that you are truly on the hotel site before you enter your credit information.

      Total ripoff.Thought I was on the Courtyard by Marriott website.I was on their website, and I went to check out some reviews and I ended up on the Reservations.com website by mistake.Went ahead and booked my room, and got hit with an extra $42 charge just for booking with them, instead of directly through Courtyard by ********. Pay attention, and make sure you're on the actual hotel site because these people are leeches who make money for doing literally NOTHING.

      We are Canadian seniors that booked a room in a ************** only to find out that somehow had been misdirected to a 3rd party site. We were shocked to discover that we are now paying a much higher rate in US funds with extra fees attached. This is beyond our budget not to mention how upsetting it is to be scammed like this. We tried to cancel immediately and were told we could cancel but the funds were non-refundable. Needless to say we very unhappy with reservations.com and their unethical business practices.
