      From ****** search and ads; the website does not indicate it is a 3rd Party site before booking; and does not adequately communicate additional fees charged. Absolute fraud. They charged $54 in taxes, $15 for an extra person, a $19.99 non-refundable cancelation fee, which also cancels your reservations, but you do not receive a refund. This website needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I booked a reservation to visit my dying brother in ************* ** last week and despite Googling ****************** Hotel, I was misdirected to Reservations.com. in error, never knowing I was being highjacked by a third party scamming company. The standard room cost for two rooms for two days was INCREASED by 40%!! What a RIPOFF! I would not recommend using Reservations.com for anything. STAY AWAY! I am actually considering taking legal action. This is robbery of Senior Citizens trying to do the right thing - Consumer beware! This company should not be legal.

      I booked a room at ************************** - I paid for it through reservations.com. When I arrived ******** did not have a reservation and I had to pay again to stay there. Reservations.com has not reimbursed me for the money I paid them. Do not use this company.

      They lead you to believe they are the actual hotel sight and then add on a ***** fee per room even if made at the same time. Promise a refund but we will see. This company needs to be stopped

      I booked a reservation for my daughter at the Super 8 in Dunn, NC through Reservations.com. My daughter was involved in a serious car accident and she was unable to check in to the reservation. When I called to cancel the reservation, I was told that it couldn't be cancelled, and the case had to be escalated. I had to email proof that she was involved in an accident, and was unable to check in to the reservation as originally planned. (Which I did - including the write up from the local news station). I received an email that this case was under investigation. I followed up every day, and after another week went by, was told by email that I would not be able to receive a refund. The room cost was over $500.00, and she NEVER checked in. I would not recommend using Reservations.com for anything. STAY AWAY! I am actually considering taking legal action. This is robbery. Consumer beware!

      Thought i was booking with hotel directly. Ended up not being able to go. Contacted them and they said non-refundable. Next time I will pay more attention. Would definitely not recommend them.

      My experience today with this reservation.com group is exactly what others have written: I thought and expressed to the person I spoke to that dealing directly with the Coast Gateway hotel in Seattle for my hotel reservation and was not corrected and told I was dealing with a third party. Reservations.com quoted a price for one night. After providing my name and credit card number, the reservation was confirmed at rate that was more than I had expected. When I questioned the rate they said I would get the AARP rate at check in and also that the there was free cancelation one week before check-in. When I looked closer I saw that reservation.com is a 3rd party platform .. they were very sneaky, deceptive and never did acknowledge they were not the actual hotel.
      This company has multiple. multiple complaints on BBB for exactly the same type of misleading practices.
      When I cancelled my reservation on line I got a notice that $16.99 of my refund was NOT refundable! something that none of the agents I spoke with mentioned. When I told the agent from reservation.com I was cancelling the reservation and requested/expected a FULL refund, she said she couldn't give me that right now but I would get an email in about 2 hrs confirming this. We'll see ... I will work with my credit card company to did put this charge.

      Got tricked into booking with them while I was on the actual hotel's website. Then they are almost impossible to contact. I had to pretend that I wanted to make a new reservation to get a live person. No communication. They never gave me a confirmation number but when I called they said they needed my confirmation number to help me. Run this company out of buisness.

      Same problem as other people. I received no refund for a cancellation, even after I received an email from their billing department stating I would be given one.

      Sadly, reservstions.com poses as the business if you do not look closely. Not only that, they charge a service fee when you can go directly to the hotel's website and book for less. I do not recommend them at all. I tried to cancel, but they charge a nonrefundable 19.99 service fee. It is a scam and a joke. I will be sure to NOT book anything with them again. I see the consumer below has the same complaint. I will be filing a scam complaint.
