      I booked a stay thinking I was on the hotel site, Minutes later my Card fraud **** called and asked If I had done this transaction, when I looked at my account there was 2 charges one for ****** and *****, It took a while to reach reservations. com, I told them I wanted to cancel, and they said fine, but you cannot get a refund, I said I just booked it 10 min ago. my reservation date was for 10-25-2024 Per their cancellation policy states, I would have had to cancel my reservation a day before I made it. which they know, and I know would be impossible.They finally agreed to refund the *****, If I had canceled, I would not be refunded any money back because of their fraudulent Cancellation ********* would be out

      I booked by mistake on October 20th 2024 for dates In November *****th 2024, and they wouldn't refund me after an hour of being booked and they said they "canceled" my reservation after arguing about it not being able to be canceled and I paid $728.00 Canadian dollars. they said id be refunded in 7-10 business days but after seeing all of these negative reviews I don't think ill be refunded the 728.00$, CAD. My status says cancelled but does that mean I'll be fully refunded? They said while I tried to cancel my own reservation that I clicked on a promo that popped up and said I clicked it and that is what made the reservation non refundable. when there was no other option then to click on that to exit out go that screen to go to the next step. Please help me and make others aware of this website that scams people.I called multiple times and ended up being put on hold to only speak to the same person over and over and they said it was canceled which I do not believe. Will my bank dispute this for me?Before the apparent pop up there was a free cancelation fee before November 7th 2024. I tried to cancel legit an hour after booking on October 20th 2024. I was not aware of this type of scam this is disgusting and this company should be sued.

      Absolute scam. They represent themselves as the hotel and then add an absurd fee at the end. I was booking quickly at the pool with my kids with the understanding I was booking with Marriot and I had a sense of trust. I realized when I got my confirmation and called the hotel directly and they explained how much my room should have cost. Working with ******** so they cannot misrepresent themselves and take advantage of trusted brands. I immediately contacted them and they cancelled the reservation but they kept a 25% fee. I did agree to the cancellation fee but that is when I thought I was booking through Marriott not a scam that I needed out of as soon as possible.

      I booked in error and they would not refund the money, said it was non refundable, it was less than 10 minutes in booking. They said they can cancel and put in a refund request. What happens if I am denied? They have to cancel first then put in a request. That is absurd. So I lose out over $2700.

      Rant! *************. Ripping people off and pretending to be the actual hotel people are wanting to book. These websites should be shut down!! It is taking business away from the actual hotels.

      Customer beware!! Made reservations for my husbands 6 night stay .charged 900+ up front. He checked out after one day. Came down with covid. Contacted customer service title times. Will not refund any of our money. Never,ever use them for reservations!!!awful company

      They charged us 4 times what the price was while trying to evacuate during hurricane. This company should be fined & shut down!!!! They price gauge & take advantage of people, especially during times of ************* no remorse!

      Total scammers. I reserved for 2 days and nowhere did it say what currency the price amounts were. Since I had chosen Canadian on the first page, I assumed it was in Canadian funds. I had also verified on the page and found a link on homepage that opened up saying if you cancelled before 11:59p.m. on same day, there would be no penalty. I went ahead and reserved. I got my e-mail and saw that the amount I was charged was in U.S. funds and came out to nearly $400.00 CAD for 2 nights as opposed to what I usually pay for this hotel, which was under ****** CAD. for 2 nights. I called Reservations.com 20 minutes after making the reservation and after 10 minutes of arguing my case with them, even with the proof I had right in front of my eyes and offering to send it to them via text or e-mail, they were relentless on telling me I couldn't be refunded and that was their policy and wouldn't even discuss what my eyes were seeing on the online site. I tried afterwards to reverse the charges to my **** (which they put on immediately) and to dispute it but **** cannot go against the companies policy, term and conditions, even with my proof of possible cancellation discloser on site. Do not use this site.

      I called to book a hotel that my husbands had points with. When booking i asked the lady if we could use our points booking through her she assured me absolutely. I asked how many points we could use she put me on hold came back saying since she wasn't the name on account that she couldn't find out how much. I asked again if she was sure she put me on hold again came back telling me she talked to hotel they said just to show our points when we got there. I said ok perfect because I wouldn't book if we couldn't use the points. She assured me again nope you can she talked to manager at hotel and he told her it would be basically free. Flash forward we get to hotel and the manager had no idea what we were talking about said we had to strictly book through them to use points.I lost my absolute mind on them and they apparently are refunding all moneys on my husbands mastercard at first they told me it would take a few days to clear up i said go listen to our recording and ill wait on hold well you do so bam came back full refund they said (will be watching our mc)
