I called War Horse Harley Davidson to schedule a test ride on a 2018 Deluxe. The next day when I arrived the motorcycle was on the battery tender and didn't start. I live an hour and a half away and was up there with my kids and 2-year-old grandson. No big deal as my son was looking into possibly getting a 2024 Road Glide as well. After 20 minutes of waiting, I was informed that the battery was bad and the service department was replacing it, so I waited some more. Another 45+ minutes passed with no Deluxe. The salesman went to the service department, came back, and informed me the battery was sitting next to the motorcycle, but the technician had been pulled off the job to do something else. I love the Deluxe style and there was a 90+% chance I would have ridden out of there on it. When we (wife and I) spoke to the manager and informed him we felt like we were not valued as customers and needed to leave because the 2-year-old was hungry he told us to come back after we ate, and we could talk about it. Service could not even let the tech replace the battery before assigning him the new task. Well, we didn't go back, Warhorse still has the Deluxe, and I'm riding a 2020 Road King with less than 2500 miles. *** to mention my son isn't going to buy his Road Glide from them. Their decision to treat us the way they did probably cost them 2 sales worth close to $40,000. I love my Road King so thank you War Horse for treating me like I wasn't important enough to ***** a technician 15 minutes to replace a battery.
