    I paid $1 for a single vehicle history report from VinHistoryUSA, but my card was later charged for a recurring subscription ($29,95 on 24.08.2025 and 21.09.2025) that I never authorized. When I asked to cancel, the company claimed a cancellation link was provided in the first email. No such email was ever received, and I had no way to cancel through their stated method. This is misleading and prevented me from stopping unauthorized charges. I request immediate cancellation of my subscription, written confirmation, and a refund of the unauthorized charges.

    The company claims I made a purchase through them. I did not this was not only one purchase they claim i made three, they were only a dollar a transaction, But this is fraud.I contacted the company they claimnthey said i made a transaction and proceeded just to hang up on me. They stated they cannot trust me that I did not make a transaction.

    It did not give me any ************************* claimed to give. the website clearly states a free VIN check, it is neither free nor complete. you pay to find out the year.Make model of your car, but you  know that already. The rest of the information it gave was inaccurate.

    They charged me for downloading and printing material which was not done. when spoke to customer service, they were very rude. Same girl, every time you called probably his wife.

     

     their customer service website says all chargers will be promptly ***********, questions asked, they argued, cursed at me, this is nothing but a scam.

    Since June 21 I have been asking to cancel this account, I have emails and chat transcripts stating please cancel and refund. I've attached a screenshot from JUNE that says it has been canceled. it was not canceled. I have called, emailed, and chatted continually to get this cancelled. They have stated that it was canceled again, but they have no proof. Since they stated in JUNE it was canceled and I have requested several times since for cancellation I would like a refund of the June, July, August AND SEPTEMBER PAYMENTS. This is now my 4th attempt to cancel ****** said its canceled and they refunded September, however they said this in June as well. Impossible to communicate with and shady.

    I am rejecting this response because: As provided in the documents  several attempts, written and documented show requested cancelation via email and chat they are dated and time stamped. Also stated on email that that account would be cancelled and never was. Also when you attempt to cancel online ( based on previous attempts) you are told this option is not available. Hence the extremely long chat threads and email attempts at cancelation, that date back to July stating it will be cancelled immediately it was not.

    they charged my card again, JUNE, JULY AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, AND NOW OCTOBER.  I have, emailed, callled chatted, been sent emails that it was cancelled, told in chat was canceled, told over the phone it was cancelled. 

    yet here we are again, another month, another set of emails, screen shots, requests, chats and phone calls. why should i have to do this?

    To whom it may concern,I am filing a formal complaint regarding a refund issue for a transaction made with my **** credit card on March 5, 2025 at 16:55:11. The charge of $29.95 was made to VinhistoryUSA, legally listed as Global Informatics LLC (**********************************).I made a one-time purchase for a vehicle history report. However, the service did not meet expectations, and I reached out for a refund shortly after the purchase. Since March 2025, I have contacted their support team multiple times. I was assigned two case numbers, with the most recent being #******. Each time, I received an automated response saying my case would be escalated. Yet in over six months, I have received no actual follow-up from any human agent, and no refund has been ********* the process of investigating the company, I discovered that many other consumers have had similar negative experiences, as documented on platforms such as Reddit and the Better Business Bureau. Common issues reported include:- Recurring charges after an unclear trial period- Difficulty or inability to cancel using the provided links - Lack of customer service response - Dozens of unresolved complaints with no resolution on BBB This suggests a consistent pattern of deceptive business practices.I am attaching payment proof and relevant email communications as evidence.     I am rejecting this response because:

    The merchants statement is inaccurate. They claim they have already refunded me and cancelled my account, but as of today, I have received no refund to my credit card. I have checked my statement thoroughly and there is no credit or reversal from Global Informatics LLC / VinhistoryUSA.

    Their claim that all charges were clearly stated is also misleading. I made a one-time purchase and did not knowingly enroll in a recurring subscription. I repeatedly contacted their support for months with no real reply, only automated messages.

    This issue remains unresolved. I request immediate proof of refund (date, transaction ID, amount) or an actual credit back to my account. Until then, this complaint should remain open.

    September 20, 2025 - I thought I was renewing my passport on a legitimate website, based on the description and that it was the first website to pop up in the internet search. Unfortunately, I entered a lot of personal information, which I did not want to share, once I realized what was happening. I feel that I was scammed, and want it ensured that my personal information is permanently removed from this business and never shared with others by them.

    I was misled by this website as being a government website to renew a passport. I put all my info in and was charged $64.88 which appears as the fee to renew a passport. After I was charged, I then received an email from them with a renewal form stating that there is an additional fee to renew the passport. Because of this misleading website I was charged for paperwork that is free from the actual government website. GLOBAL INFORMATICS LLC makes no mention that they are not a government website and it doesn't clearly state that the charge of $64.88 is in addition to the renewal fee for a passprt. Not only was I charged $64.88, but now my identity and credit are at risk.

    This issue started in 2023 and is still ongoing! I was searching for a vin report on my car so I came across Vinhistoryusa , the site this LLC runs and saw a $1 for 7 day trial period . What they dont tell you is you're being signed up for a $30 monthly fee which doesnt seem to be able to be cancelled , even after changing my card numbers . The emails and numbers on the site lead you nowhere . This is fraudulent and this company needs shut down . I was charged again last night and now have to file another dispute with my bank . They also dont send a real report . The charges hit from many different names so its hard to block them . Stay far away

    This company has positioned itself to be the number one response to the web inquiry free vin search. After being lured in with the promise of a free report they collect way too much personal information and charge a dollar for the report. The report they provide is not accurate. When you contact customer support and create a ticket it is not answered. A week later they then try and charge you $30 for a subscription that you didn't know you had and never wanted. It is a known fraudulent company which is why my bank blocked it without my asking. I would like a refund of my dollar. I would like proof that all of my personal data has been scrubbed from all of their systems. Their terms and conditions are obfuscated and in no way part of the transaction which is misrepresented. And I would like to offer them the chance to settle for $2,000 out of court rather than me send a $3,500 demand letter for damages both actual and punative.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    As can be verified by searching this company online, by 100% of the reviews the subscription aspect of the transaction is not transparent. 

    Firstly the service is advertised as free. You are then baited in to pay $1 dollar for the report, which is fake. I repeat fake. **************** when asked about the fake report quote simply never responds. Nobody, I repeat nobody knows it is a subscription, we all, I repeat all, only find out there is one when our accounts are auto debited. Any and all attempts to "cancel" are ignored. The company continues to spam debits for months and years despite people having "canceled".  This is a fraudulent criminal enterprise and I will continue with litigation to recover my losses caused by the fake report. After getting a judgement I will domesticate it and collect and I suggest everyone else does the same.

    This company continues to randomly charge me every single year around this time of year. I have the original email from "**** *****" from July 2022 stating I would never be charged again. Yet, every year they come back charging me and I have to call and ask for a refund. I've repeatedly asked for my information to be deleted from their systems. I have no agreement with this company, and the card they are charging had the entire card number replaced 3 years ago. The way they continue to charge is because the "automatic account updater service" ********** offers. Because they have the old card info, they can still charge the new one. It's a never ending cycle and even tho I canceled years ago, they still have my info and continue charging.Also once they refund, they continue making random test purchases to see if they still have account access. This needs to stop.

    I was in the process of starting my own business in the fall 2024. I found a website that pays for filing of the ***** However, a short time after purchase, I cancelled my order via email when I discovered that I could complete the filing for free independently. I requested a refund immediately as indicated on the email time stamps. I was told my order was cancelled and "no charges have been processed." They charged my card and I have not received a refund to date nor any responses to my emails.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have not received a refund to date. The email response from 11/8/24 states no charges will be processed.

    I was charged on 11/12/24.

    I received another email, that I attached, on 9/23/25 that says my filing was placed on the refund request list.  It asks for patience.  Its been almost one year. This is an unacceptable resolution.  There is no firm timeline of when the refund will be processed as indicated on 11/8/24.  

    I am requesting an immediate issuance of $349.00 in the form of a certified check as my banking account ********************** should have been destroyed per my original request.  I will continue to pursue this complaint and consider further action with consumer protection agencies or legal remedies.
