**** website posing as government agency. Spent $189 to only find out that the site was a fraud, and now has access to my personal data, to which they can now share with affiliates.Initial Complaint

Global Informatics LLC / epassport.us is posing as US Passport and *********** online offering services to apply/renew your passport. The website looks like a government agency and had me fill out an application in which personal details were provided (SSN, birth place, parents names, address, etc). I paid $85.83 on October 14th to submit my passport renewal applicationI received form OMB No. *********Initial Complaint

Epassport.US, an affiliate of Global Informatics LLC intentionally misled me into paying them $143.95 for passport renewal services. All they did was collect extremely sensitive personal data, and fill out a form that could be obtained for free from a government website. In addition, they charged me extra for expedited services, even though this had absolutely zero effect on the services rendered to me. I called customer service and was denied a refund. Not sure what else to do here.Initial Complaint

On October 7, 2025, I googled passport renewal in effort to renew my U.S. passport expiring soon. EPASSPORT.US is the first site to come up noting it has a quick and easy to apply for renewal. After submitting my information and selecting the standard passport and card without no rush fees, I received an email with a prefilled in application with instructions for applying. The balance came to around $60 after my various selections but I ended up getting charged $85.83 from Passport Rush. This company misrepresented its role in the passport renewal process and the fees being charged. The phone number on their site doesn't seem to work. After emailing them, they said the service was canceled and no other charges will be applied. They have not addressed the breakdown of charges and response to my refund request.Initial Complaint

They have used an another company ( *****************) and have tricked me into giving them my personal data and passport info, and tried to double charge my account.Customer Answer

This is my bank account that shows the companies named in the complaint charging me double for work that is free to do on the real passport web site.Customer Answer

I provided this complaint to the BBB in hopes that I could shed light on what I believe is a genuine phishing scam. The company mask themselves as a government website, purposely having the this is not a government website put on such a way, that you dont notice it til you have already given all your personal/ financial info. They act like you are signing up to renew your passport right there on their website, then they charge you 156 dollars for a form I could have done for free on the real website. Then they conspired with another website to have them double charge me. I am having trouble understanding why the BBB cant see this. I understand that Global infotech has provided the form to me. But that is not their real agenda, it was to trick me, make me pay for it, and steal my info. Please take some time, look on their website, ****** them, look at the other company I identified I. This complaint. You will find that thousands of people are getting tricked.Initial Complaint

I was on epassport.us which appears to be a website where you can apply or renew your passport. Looks legitimate. I fill in all of my information (personal information at that) and then pay the fee, which was supposed to be $85. After, I get an email where it is the form with instructions for how I go about RENEWING MY PASSPORT. Then I see my invoice and I was charged $135 for a "service" and provides me the same exact thing I would have gotten for FREE on the **** of state website. This is a scam and fraudulent. I called to get a refund and they said they cannot process refunds and then refused to take my follow up calls. I will be disputing this with my bank but this company needs to be held accountable! And now they have all of my personal info and false charges for a "service" that was falsely misrepresented.Initial Complaint

I wanted to renew my US passport and searched on ****** and first website that popped up was *************************, I was in a rush to submit my application and paid a roughy $60 fee just to get my application filled out and having to do the rest myself. Turns out I do not need this service since I do not need my passport immediately and I also have to submit my application to the ********** where I reside rather than to ***************** directly. I emailed requesting a refund and was rejected due to the fact that my order was processed.Initial Complaint

I paid to have a vin report ran through *************** and was charged for a monthly subscription of $29.95 since April 4th, 2025. I did not sign up for this subscription and was not informed I would be billed for it. I have tried to cancel this subscription to no avail. Their website says to email customer support. I get an automatic reply that I need to cancel via a link in an email when I signed up for the subscription, which does not exist. Customer support will not respond after that. I tried calling and reach a dead end after entering part of my card number and then the call ends. I tried calling other phone numbers associated with the company and all calls drop before anyone answers. I am seeking a full refund of $209.65 as no services were provided after a single report ran on March 27th. This is a scamInitial Complaint

My name is **** ******* and on 9/29/2025 I was charged $349 by www.fastbizfilings.com.I have no knowledge of ever working with this company. A search of my inbox shows no correspondence with ******* first, I thought it might be a mistake, so I called their customer support. My first call was at ****** EST. A woman with a strong African accent answered. She initially said the charge was for some type of guide. When I told her I had no knowledge of this and asked for a refund, she changed her story and said she could not see any charges on my account. When I asked to speak to a manager, she refused and hung up.I called back at 6:18pm EST. This time a man with a Middle Eastern accent answered. After I explained, he said the charge was for filings from December 2024. I told him that was impossible, as I never provided documents to file. He then backtracked and said he could not see any charges, and I would need to contact my bank.I tried calling again at 6:47pm and 6:50pm EST to understand how they got my information. No one answered. After being on hold, a recording said, we are sorry, an application error has occurred, goodbye. The red flags led me to dig deeper. In the terms of service, I saw Global Informatics LLC listed as the corporation, which brought me here. Before each call I was told the calls would be recorded and transcribed, so the company has records of these conversations.A screenshot of the charge is included below.I dont know how this company got my business debit card information or why I was charged, and when I asked, I was hung up on and given conflicting ********** this point, the only logical conclusion is that it was fraudulently attained. I am looking for an explanation and a refund.Initial Complaint
