      They sent me a bad engine. They said they inspected and tested all their engines. But if you did that you would have found out that the engine was bad. Then had the nerve to tell me I had 30 days to inspect the engine and also to put it in. You don’t tell me when I have to put an engine in. Also has a 3 year parts warranty on it. Which they don’t wanna either give me my money back nor give me a new engine. Now they won’t pick up the phone from me at all. So I just want my money back or a new engine for the bad one they sent me the motor is no good. I also have pics of the engine if need be and proof of everything

Let me explain the warranty for  you, once a customer receives the part they must inspect and report any physical damage with in 3 days of receiving with out installing. If there no physical damage we would like you to get the engine installed with in 30 days. Anything outside of those dates we will take the engine back but it would be the customer responsibility. All this is on the part confirmation form that you signed. We are sorry that this has happened we wish you would of reported it right away. The return instruction were emailed to you.       I am rejecting this response because:

      I shouldn’t have a time line to inspect an engine you said ran good and inspected/tested. If you said it’s was inspected/ tested you would have know that that engine was bad. And I shouldn’t have a time frame of when I should put my engine in. Doesn’t matter about the warranty why give a 30 warranty then give a 3 year parts I had to replace the rear main and found that the thrust bearing we bad. So therefore I need my either my money back or they can take the old engine and give me a new one

      I'm sorry we have a warranty in place and you agreed to it when you made the purchase. We can issue a refund once the part is returned in the same condition you received. 

      Damaged Parts:
      Customer must inspect part upon delivery and notify AM Used Auto Parts of any external damage within 3 business days via email to *************** with pictures of the damages including Reference number (Ref#)

      Claims:

      In the event a part fails once installed please email us at *************** a diagnostic with codes and all receipts that show requirements were met. Handwritten receipts will not be accepted. AM Used Auto Pars will cover return shipping on all fail parts within 30 days only. Once a claim has been approved and it is after the 30 days of receiving the part AM Used Auto Parts will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA#) specifying the return address location

      REFUNDS:

      All refunds are done via company check. If an order is canceled within the same day, we will void out the transactions. If the merchandise (part) has shipped, or shipped and was delivered, refunds will be made ONLY once the part is returned and inspected

      Purchased a used Vin specific motor for my 2008 Avalanche.Upon receipt the *************** System was incompatible with my truck. A&M's claims department says according to their expert's it is.Chevrolet says it is not.I have repeatedly requested the Vin # of the vehicle the shipped motor came out of to no avail however have been told to ship at my exspense their mistake back to them.I need the Vin to prove to them this motor is not correct. The claims department is rude and overbearing this looks like the trick here is to push you out past the allocated time to resolve disputes. Don't be fooled by their claims of we value our customers once they have your money it's uphill from there if there is a dispute.Again i need the Vin off the vehicle your motor sent to me came out of.

      3/27/2023 999:00 $Working transmission less then ****** miles. ********* number ******* Doors not wat to refund my money The transmission is no good showing same codes that the one we took out of the car.After replacing the old we took it to a dealer to have it relearned, reset, or flashed by dealer. The dealership says that the codes were. P0731 first gear ratio and po1790. Fault immediately after shift. They want receipt s that have nothing to do with the transmission. They don't want to and will not refund my money .I have been with out a car since March and I need my money to buy a different transmission We have health issues and need a car. They apparently feel they have the right to keep my money for a bad transmission. We are in bind here and really need that. We are seniors only on SS and can be robbed of our money. I sent all all the paperwork I have and they say that's not enough for refund.There no more receipts. We put the transmission in by ourselves and took it to the dealership for them to do what needed but like I said the codes for repairs was the same as before. We took the car first the our regular service and he said same codes but doesn't work on transmission. Then changed transmission and took it to the dealership form to do their job to no avail. They got the same codes again.

      Date of Transaction: 13 September 2022 I purchased a used transmission for a **** ***** Millenia 2.5 liter. in the amount of $799.00 The seller sent me the wrong transmission GF4A-EL with 7 Shift Solenoids. However, the GF4A-EL has two versions - containing a Valve Body with 6 Shift Solenoids or a Valve Body with 7 Shift Solenoids. As Seller represents to the public they are experts in the sales of auto parts - transmissions in the case- they should have known the correct transmission for a **** ***** Millenia **** is the 6 Shift Solenoid version. As a consumer, in making this pirchase, I relied on their expertise and representation of this being the correct transmission for my automobile. Through my own due diligence, in April 2023, I identified the root of the transmission problem as described above, and timely notified the Seller as such in April 2023

      Hello, sorry to hear that you are having issues with the transmission you purchased September of 2022. I showed that you purchased a transmission for a 2001 ***** Millenia 2.5 L Automatic 4x2 and that is what was send out, how ever if the warehouse made a mistake it has to be reported with in 3 business days of receiving. This is on our warranty.  Our warranty states the following: Incorrectly ordered parts: For all incorrectly ordered parts shipped, you must notify AM Used Auto Parts within 7 days of receiving carrier shipment via email at ********************. Also these vehicles only bring a 2.5 Liter transmission and a 2.3 Liter transmission. One transmission will not bolt up to another. Hope this answers questions. Thanks

      See page 4 under Returned Parts section Seller expressly states We guarantee the part we sell will fit your vehicle.

      Seller sold me a 7 solenoid version of the GF4A-EL transmission. My automobile, being a **** ***** Millenia 2.5 liter requires a GF4A-EL transmission with 6 solenoids. The delivered transmission does not fit my vehicle.

      As the Buyer, I relied upon the Seller's skill and judgment (as advertised on Sellers website) to select and deliver the correct transmission for a **** ***** Millennia 2.5 liter. The Seller did not deliver the correct transmission. Note attached screenshots from Sellers website touting their expertise..

      After re-considering, I am altreing my initial request to the Seller. request a refund of $799 for the incorrect transmission that was  delivered to me. If Seller wishes, I will send back to Seller the incorrect transmission at Sellers expense. Since AM Used Auto Parts LLC actions resulted in delivering the wrong transmission, once I receive a replacement transmission, (from another Seller) it will require an additional installation cost as such I expect reimbursement of $1250 for the original installation bringing a total of $2,049. This will make me whole as a result of the Sellers negligence in delivering the wrong transmission.

      As to Sellers response that I had a responsibility to inform them of an incorrect part within 3-7 days the transmission operated ok until 3 weeks later shifting problems occurred showing a P7034 code indicating problem in 3-4th gear shifting . I am not a transmission expert. Yet,I literally opened up the transmission side pan to replace the 3-4 shift solenoid and saw  see it was the wrong transmission in my car - I discovered a 7 solenoid version of GFA4-EL the wrong transmission. The Seller is purported to be an expert and is attempting to shift their responsibility to me. In the ****************,there is such a thing called Implied Warranty of Fitness.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      AM Auto Parts assertion that I, the customer,  must notify them within 7 days of receiving a part - especially in the case of an installed transmission is totally "unreasonable." By what means was I to know within 7 days, AM Auto Parts sent the wrong transmission?  Buying a transmission is not like purchasing a bicycle or a television. A layperson such as myself is not an expert in transmissions - AM Auto Parts purports to be an expert, and in my opinion the 7 day rule is effectively designed to void warranty claims for wrong parts delivered. As a result of sending me the wrong transmission, it  jeopardized my safety and could have resulted in catastrophe. I'm very dissatisfied with their lackadaisical response.

      On April 3rd 2023, I notified AM Auto Parts, I was having trouble with the transmission shifting from 3rd to 4th gear - displaying an error code of  P0734. P0734 codes result when the *** cannot be shifted to the 4th gear position, which my automobile was doing. An auto repair review indicated it may be due to a faulty 3-4 shift solenoid in the control valve body within the transmission. I was informed by AM Auto since the installer did not list some required installation steps - the warranty was void. I decided to accept this response and figured I'd move along and accept my loss. However,later discovery revealed the issue was more clear cut.  AM Auto Parts the experts - bungled this transaction by delivering the wrong transmission.

      On May 17th 2023, to replace the 3-4 shift solenoid to fix the P0734 code, I opened the transmission side pan to access the control valve body- and realized AM Auto Parts delivered  a 7 solenoid version of the GF4A-EL transmission. My vehicle, the requires a 6 solenoid version of the GF4A-EL transmission. AM Auto Parts admits their mistake, but refuses to fix their mistake. AM Auto Parts sent me the wrong part - a 7 solenoid transmission. It is unreasonable and impractical to say I should have discovered AM Auto Parts mistake within 7 days. AM Auto Parts purports to be an expert and had more than 7 days to Select and Deliver the proper transmission before the part was delivered to me - and yet as "experts" they failed to deliver the right part.

      If AM Auto Parts the experts - didn't know there is a 7 and a 6 solenoid version of the GF4A-EL transmission, what reasonable person would expect an average consumer to have the technical know-how to open up and ****** inside of a transmission - within 7 days - to discover AM Auto Parts delivered the wrong transmission? Am Auto Parts 7 day policy appears designed to quickly absolve themselves of any responsibility for sending incorrect automobile parts to customers. This is totally unacceptable.

      Purchased engine on 3-31-2023. Came with 3 year warranty. Engine was delivered a few weeks later, checked over engine an found that internal parts were damaged [cam was bad] Called Am auto for refund. Was told that paper work had to catch up with order. Then was told that Am auto did not want the engine back an that I could scrap it. Email again for refund. Sent all requested pictures of engine an still no refund.

      Purchased transmission for 2014 dodge grand caravan in July 2022. Took 4 weeks to ship in after ordering. Supposedly 3 year warranty on transmission, warranty starts on delivery date but now warranty needed to be activated. Did not receive any information for that and when I asked the company about it they supposedly sent it to spam folder which was deleted. Send all required document to company that they asked for. Will not cover it after 10 months in car and transmission needs replaced. These people are scam artists, used every loophole to take advantage of me. Will never buy another part from them ever again, will tell everyone I know to never buy from them

      Good Morning, sorry to hear that your transmission went out. From looking at the notes it says that you might need a torque converter, we can send you one if you would like. If not you more then welcome to return the transmission for a refund. Within 30 days please return the transmission to **** ****************  ******, **. *****. When a part goes bad after 30 days it is the customers responsibility to return the part for a refund. Please return complete in the same conditioned received.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I dont trust this company to send me new or rebuilt parts Im afraid the parts would be used or the first thing they could find.  I would ask for reimbursement for parts because Im currently getting transmission fixed . I feel the only reason they want to comply now is so they dont get a bad review but the truth is Ive been without a vehicle  for over a month and when I first contacted them for warranty all I got was a run around and some of the phone messages they never responded back to me . Im already spending the money to fix this transmission and will be on the road again shortly . If I would wait for what they send me , it might be another month or so. This company knows how to work the system who can be without a vehicle for eight to ten weeks they know this and this is why i would rather give them a extremely bad review and maybe save someone else this bad experience .

      orderd a used transmission from am autoparts ****** ******* for my **** **** f150 and paid ******** . they told me approx.2 weeks i would have it . 27 days later i recieved the trans. trans was installed after new parts were installed as per there requirements for 3 year warr. on trans. trans. did not work properly.would not shift into overdrive and had trans fault code flashing on dash. contacted am autoparts and sent in reciepts for required parts .and told them i wanted a refund was told a file was started and they would contact me .called back 6 days later and was told to be patient.this all started on 3-22-23 its now 5-3-23 and i am still without a truck

      March 10,2023 was the day of transactions I paid the company $1699.00 The business committed to provide me with a refund if the part service me no longer or if the part was damaged. The part was delivered to me march 24,2023 i emailed them about the package before the package was delivered because they shipping kept saying that it wasnt processed but they took the money off my card and it was processed the whole time. After the part was delivered like a week or two I decided I didnt want the part and emailed them about my refund April 7th, 2023 its now may 1,2023 and I still havent received a email back or a phone call. So I called to check up on my status for the refund/return and ask when they was going to pick up the engine. The man told me that the email address I sent it to was incorrect I explained to him that the email address I sent it too was indeed correct and was the email they gave me in my contract and was also on the website as well. He told me he never received that email I ask him is it a email address I can send proof that I did sent the email out to them April 7th so we can start the process of my return and refund he refused and told me no matter what my 30 days are up to refund and return the item. It was nothing else he can do to assist me and hung up the phone. I called back and read out the contract and the email I send out he still refused to assist me with my refund and return then he hung up on me again.

      Hello, I see that you purchased the engine for your Cadillac on 03/16 and received engine on 03/24. You called us yesterday 05/01 letting us know that you do not need the engine anymore. Per our warranty and contract that you signed agreed to it states that all "unwanted parts" must be return with in 30 days of receiving the part.       (March 2023) I Had A Very Bad Experience When Dealing With AM Used Auto Parts. To My Knowledge, I Was Ordering A Good Functioning Engine. After Receiving The Engine And Paying For It To Be Put It, The Engine Did Not Run Correctly. Upon Further Diagnostic, The Engine Ended Up Having A Bad Head Gasket. I Contacted AmAutoParts ******************* To Inform Them Of The Issue. I Was Told To Send Over Documentation As Well As Photos To Show The Issue And Proving The Process Was Done Correctly. After Doing So, It Was Confirmed That The Engine Indeed Was Not Functioning Correctly. I Was Offered Parts To Fix The Issue But I Decline And Requested A Refund. Afterwards I Was Told If I Wanted A Refund, That Id Have To Return The Engine Under My Shipping Cost, Which Ended Up Being $2,100. $600 MORE Than I Paid For The Engine Itself! I Asked To Speak To A Supervisor, In Return Was Hung Up On Over 30 Times! I Was Not Helped In ANY WAY And They Didnt ************ About All The Money I Lost By Putting Trust Into Their Company. In All I Lost My $1,500 For The Engine That Was Sent To Me With A Bad Head Gasket, $500 For The Mechanic Who Placed The Engine, $150 Engine Fluids, $375 In Towing Fees And My Time Wasted. In All I WOULD NOT Recommend AM Used Auto Parts To ANYONE!

If you do not want that option , you were giving the option to return the engine for a full refund.. Again we apologize about this, these are used engines and anything can happen at any giving time.

      Not understanding Why I Would Pay A $2,100 shipping bill when the engine was only $1,500. Why will the cost fall on me to the company is CLEARLY admitting FAULT. It should not be the customers dime paying for the companys ERROR. Had I not chosen your company, I would never be in this issue. You all shipped a bad product, it should be your dime returning it. Paying $2,100 to return a $1,500 engine sounds like a warranty scheme.

      I ordered an engine on April 6th, 2023, I have been awaiting the engine since I place the order. Every time I called they reminded me that in the paper they stated delivery time would be between 7 to 14 business days. I spoke to the shipping department on the 19th and told me everything was in order, it was just about time for the engine to be shipped and an email will follow. Today April 24, still has not received an email. I called today and they to told me that I have to speak to my sale person. When I insisted and ask for a manager, the person explain to me that I need to pay extra for the shipping now because my delivery location cannot get 18-wheelers, they need to get a semi to deliver, and a bunch of other stuff that he explained. All these came after two full weeks of the order and in addition, the location **********************, has 4 loading docks that haul 40 to 45-foot containers and even longer. Ref#*******.

      I am rejecting this response because: I called, and it was more like a trap/ retaliation. I spoke to ****, who told me he could not go back and forth. I can cancel the order when he knows I placed that order on April 6. I had a schedule and a budget that I was following. The conversation left no choice but to accept the fee or else. Once again, it's like a tactic they are using to make customers pay more after everything is included. When you called, it mentioned. Therefore my conversation with Mr. *********************** should still be available, and it was only on April 26.

      I am rejecting this response because:The shipping form mentions must be able to unload; yes, the address *************** has loading docks you can unload without a lift gate. And When I was told about the fee, I did try to explain that to no avail.

      I ordered an engine on April 6, 2023; I have been awaiting the engine since I placed the order. After numerous answers from complaint#********, the complaint was closed because the company stood behind its word. on The day that the complaint was closed, the delivery was made, and the 18 ******* back into one of the four loading docks and used a pallet *****to-wheel the pallet out of the trailer; I did send a picture to, I never have any answer. Send me an email that I can send the video's and the pictures.
