on Jan. 18, 2024 I agreed to pay a one time fee of $31.76 for some ab exercises/one and done workout program. I didn't order or subscribe to anything else as you can see in the order confirmation. Unfortunately I never even log into the site in the 30day period to use the service. I recently noticed a charge for $53.66 on my account from Jan 25, 2024 thru June 23, 2024 and looked into it today. I called the customer service phone number that i found on the internet to get them to refund my money. The lady I spoke to who claimed to be a supervisor claimed she could only refund my money back for 60 days. I told her i didn't order the service nor did i use the service so they cannot charge me and i want a refund back to Jan 2024 when the charges first appeared. As you can see by my documentation that is attached, they say its a one time fee and that they offer a money back guarantee, with no mention of it being limited to 60 days. I have attached the order confirmation where you can see the one time fee of $31.76 for a one and done program and nothing about a subscription or and contact information to cancel a subscription that they are saying I ordered which is not show on my order confirmation. I would like my money $353.72 returned. I have cancelled the service via the internet and who ever I spoke to said she would credit only 60 days due to their policy. This is a bait and switch company and I don't appreciate them signing me up for something i didn't order.Business Response

I subscribed in Dec 2023 with the understanding there was a one time charge, when the charge reoccurred in Jan 2024, I emailed per their site instructions to cancel. The charge is still being deducted. I called in Feb 2024 when the charge appeared again. Then the site or name appeared to change and the charges continue. I have tried to cancel yet again. I agreed to a one off payment of $29 in September last year, the company sent me emails and a video and a free 7 day course which I thought was part of the $29 programme, I never agreed to any subscriptions or purchased anything else or filled in any forms or ticked any boxes but they have now been taking an amount of $49 USD which is about $75 AUD from my account without authorisation or my knowledge for 10 months now, they acknowledge that is was a once off payment but say by me watching the free video 7 day free info I agreed to the subscription I did not and they want to only offer me a part refund and not a full refund, they were devious in how they tricked me into a subscription, I never agreed to it and would never have clicked on a box saying yes please debit me monthly, I cannot afford this and want a full refund, I was never even aware they were taking money from me until my bank contacted me to ask if I had authorised this payment and I said NO.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I feel I was deceived into these monthly payments, I signed up for a once off payment and a free course, your deceptive methods trap people into thinking they are only committed to on once off payment of $29 and a free 7 day course and without their express consent and without them agreeing to purchasing another product, you implement a monthly debit and say by accepting a free course they have agreed to something else, thats unscrupulous and deceptive and to take money from my account without my knowledge or consent is fraudulent and its false advertising, the product I bought was called one and done and was sold to me as a once off payment with a free 7 day course and thats all it should have been, you know you have done the wrong thing and that is why you have refunded some of the payments but I need the final 4 payments refunded. You are showing no understanding or compassion and just say too bad you should have cancelled with 60 days to get a refund, I had no idea you were debiting me so how could I cancel something I was not even aware of. Do the right thing, stop this false advertising and deceptive methods trapping people into something they did not want and did not purchase and did not even know about, I received no benefit at all for all the money you took, I am unemployed and cannot afford this loss, this has caused emotional stress and has caused my health to deteriorate, please refund all the payments you took, that is the only resolution to this matter.

I am rejecting this response because:I signed up for a one off payment, they debited me monthly for 10 months without my permission or my knowledge, they agreed to partial refund and now they have reversed some of the refund. They always refuse to offer full refunds they say you signed up for something you didnt and then to try appease you they offer a few payments back as a resolution, be careful though, they can reverse these refunds while they are still pending in your bank account.

I am writing to file a complaint about the business practices of Svelte Media **** In September 2023, I purchased a product from Svelte for $29, and another for $1. Since that purchase, I have been charged $52.92 each month for a membership fee that I never agreed to or signed up for.Because my husband handles the credit card bills, I did not notice the monthly charges until a few days ago (June 2024). When I called the number listed on my credit card statement, it was not functional. After checking older statements, I found another number and managed to speak with a company representative. I requested the cancellation of the membership and reimbursement of all the membership charges. The representative agreed to cancel it and reimburse the charges for *** and June only. However, I requested reimbursement for the additional eight months, totaling over $420, as the membership fee was added without my consent following my initial product purchase. The representative claimed that the membership details were in the Terms and Conditions and that several emails had been sent to me since my purchase, indicating a monthly fee. Despite reviewing all correspondence from Svelte, I found no mention of these monthly membership charges. If they exist, they are not clearly spelled out for the consumer.I echo the sentiments of many other dissatisfied customers. ********************** **** appears to be engaging in deceptive practices, exploiting consumers by quietly charging them for memberships they did not agree to. I am rejecting this response because Svelte Media **** is engaging in deceptive practices, exploiting consumers by quietly charging them for memberships they did not agree to. I am requesting reimbursement for the additional eight months from September through April,totaling over $420, as the membership fee was added without my consent following my initial product, NOT MEMBERSHIP, purchase. The representative claimed that the membership details were in the Terms and Conditions and that several emails had been sent to me since my product purchase, indicating a monthly fee. Despite reviewing all correspondence from Svelte, I found no mention of these monthly membership charges. If they exist, they are not clearly spelled out for the consumer. Svelte Media **** is exploiting consumers' desire to improve their health and wellness by covertly charging membership fees without any prior notification.Sincerely,

I appreciate Svelte Media, Inc.'s efforts to address my request by refunding 4 out of 10 months of membership fees. However, I must reject this response as I am requesting a full refund, an additional $317.52. Furthermore, Svelte Media, Inc. should update their website to clearly outline membership and product costs. The program is good, but the website is misleading.
