ON 8/22/25, our business email hosted by Network Solutions got hacked and we were receiving upward of 30 inbox messages per minute. After the weekend ended, there were 24,000+ emails and counting. Called multiple times when it started and throughout the week for resolution to the issue. Their only customer service location is in the Philippines and agents are extremely unfriendly and not honest. They repeatedly told us to give them 24-48 hours to resolve the issue and then sent emails saying they resolved the issue when it kept getting worse.
About a week into it, they recommended adding the inbox email addresses to their blacklist, which would've taken days, maybe a weeks plus or more of just adding email addresses to the blocklist. We explained that it was their service that got hacked, therefore they should help us with that service of blacklisting emails, which they never did. In addition, they were ensuring us that that had their engineering team resolve the issue which they never did. They also promised call backs with updates, and we never received. ON 8/29, after hours and days on the phone with them, we demanded some kind of refund to services as they were completely unusable that we were paying for. One agent agreed to a credit of $74.95 for the email service. 3 days later, they sent us an email saying the refund was not able to be processed and they were taking it back. With that last straw, we contacted another email service provider and are transferring our domain name and hosting. In addition, they finally sent an email on 8/31 (no phone call again) that the emails we were getting aren't spam (which they were) and they couldn't fix it. After calling them back again to get some kind of refund for services they still weren't providing, they refused plus offered no addition help as to how to move forward like the email stated. The amount of money equals the original credit they promised plus unused services that we paid for.Initial Complaint

We canceled service on or about 8-14-2025 our service was paid through 8-27-2025 They chared our credit card on file for the monthly fee of $37.09 on 8-27-2025. We audio recorded this conversaition telling them to cancel service. I was charged for the security certificate for my website. It has been a month now and has not been installed so when someone tries to go to the eebsite they get a screen which says the website isnt safe. Network Solutions is refusing to reimburse me for:1. Renewal of a hosting and web page design plan (paid at $215) their representative talked me out of telling me it was obsolete (promising a full credit to my account for this hosting - if I upgraded and paid full price for the upgrade 2. The requested upgraded hosting and web page design plan which I paid full price for ($278) and then requested to be ended and refunded within three days of its purchase, as it was impossible for me to use the software and Network Solutions did not keep its appt with me to help.Therefore, Network Solutions is refusing to refund $493 plus tax, all of which WAS within their policy to refund at the time of purchase. This is theft. I have been on the phone numerous times with their out-of-country billing representatives all to no avail. I have been sent an email saying I will get no refund. on 2/17/24 and 12/19/24 I ordered a total of 4 domain names with privacy protection with annual auto-renew. that is all I ordered. I have since been billed on my credit card for another domain name that I NEVER ordered as well as monthly charges for "starter hosting" which I never ordered for ANY domain name. I called them on 4/15/25 and told them to stop charging me for services I did not order, they told me "they would credit my account but I had to get on their website to disable "auto renews." I got on their website and tried to disable ALL auto renews and got a pop-up that indicated "Your request to disable auto renews is processing," ticket #I20751194. I printed that to hard copy then checked back on their website and it showed ALL auto renews still intact. I continued to receive charges on my credit card. I disputed those charges 3 times, starting 4/19/25 to my discover card who replied that I have to contact network solutions to get these charges stopped! I called network solutions 4/26/25 and 5/14/25 telling them again to stop charging my card for services I did not order, they again told me "I must cancel auto renews on their website." I told them that I will never do business with them for ANY reason ever again and to stop making these fraudulent charges. We have continual interruption in email services with this company. This is business critical to our design firm. We have tried to contact Register / Network Solutions for over 2 hours this morning 07/17/25 as this issue has occurred again. The problem is unresolved and no amount of phone calls or website chats has solicited any response from this company.
