I am rejecting this response because:
This company scammed my family out of 1500 and promised I would make profit. Every offer they have sent has been no good and has not benefited my family at all. This so called investment has caused my family emotional and financial distress. I have talked to so many different reps that told me different things. One told me I would be eligible for a refund after 180 days and another told me my money was spent and Ill never get it back. I dont believe anyone in history has ever made a profit from this company because they are liars and manipulators. I want to file charges against this company. They took my money and started sending bogus offers to places Westgate didnt even service or even heard of. No one from the company has followed up with us to reassure that we would receive a profit. They have no intentions on helping us or giving our money back
Sincerely,

In late Nov. of 2022 I received a phone call from Bridget M****** of Advance Travel Network (ATN) offering to sell my unused Interval International timeshare weeks at more than twice the price I would have to pay to use them. She told me that if my units did not sell after one year, I would be fully reimbursed for the $$$$ I paid via my **** CC on 11-21-22 (see attached).
So despite dutifully playing my part in their scam to respond to text requests to research and confirm the availability of requested resort units, they were NEVER available. Consequently ATN would not reimburse me. Zlet alone pay extra. Each time this happened I called ATN to complain and each time I was reassured that I would receive more requests and/or a refund of my $$$$ at the end of my one year contract. Of course I was never able to fulfill ATN's requirements to confirm their requests and therefore I never qualified for the money that I was originally and repeatedly promised.
On Dec 11. 2023, just after the end of my one year contract with ATN, I spoke with Alex ******* at ATN who informed me that no refund would ever be possible. After getting angry and pushing her for a different outcome she offered to pay me $100. I found this insulting amd unlikely to actually happen, so I did not accept. Instead I was told that I would be given #1 top priority to receive new property requests, as this this was the only way to recoup my money.
Today is Jan. 17, 2024 and not having received any new requests from ATN I called them and was again told that no refund would ever be possible and I would be put at the top of a list to be able to allegedly sell my pre-paid properties - all lies!!
BBB PLEASE HELP.ME GET MY $ BACK. I am retired and this is fraud. The fact that this company is still in business and that they have a staff who gladly lie and cheat people on a daily basis is a sad reality. It is people like those at ATN who promote universal distrust and degrade civil society. THIS IS SO WRONG!!Initial Complaint

The original date of my contract signing was January 5th, 2022. The last 6-8 weeks alone I have been attempting for a refund with no resolution. My contract (that I still have) stated (and promised) that me paying a $2005 one time payment that I would receive dates/offers to sell weeks from my timeshare and would receive a compensation within a *** of 180 days. It it's now well over 365 days later. I am constantly the only one ever reaching out to this company and contacting them with still no resolution. I'm promised to be given 'new offers right away' and haven't even received any said offers since before Christmas of 2023. I have demanded to speak to a manager since 1/5/24 with no response to this day (1/11/24). I have called daily since the 5th and I am told each time "a manager has reviewed my account" after expressing very clearly each time I need to speak to them, not them to review my account. Absolutely nowhere in my contract does it state no refunds, in fact I was promised a refund back in November of 2023 after 1 year if they did not provide valid offers (which they did not provide). I'm now being told any refund is not possible and "only available in the form of offers". Being sent offers is what is stated in my contract which was what I was originally promised and signed up for initially, therefore is not by definition a refund to begin with. I attempted to contact the police department in the city as I was advised to do by a lawyer and was hung up on and told it is a civil suit matter. I am over a year into loosing my money with this company continuously lying to me about my account and my offers and demand compensation of my money back for their empty promises.Initial Complaint

This company had my wife and I to believe that they were affiliated with our time share ************ Wyndham. They told us that if we rented out our timeshare property that we would get $1800.00 for each week. What was strange was when they started asking us after they got our money to call ******* to see what weeks did we have available. When I called Wyndham they told us that Advance Travel Network was not affiliated with them. So I called Advance to ask for our refund and thats when operation stall as long as you can came into play. Each time I called someone was ready to rent our property, but never did. They often said that we should give them 180 days as the contract said. They never agreed to refunding our money. I never knew that they pulled that same scam on others like ourselves until I saw all the complaints on BBB. Thanks for your help.Initial Complaint

Like many others I was contacted about selling my RCI timeshare time in March of 2023, I was told My timeshare time would sell quickly as it was in ******* and a desired area. I signed the contract and paid the exorbitant fee. I contacted them after **************************************************************************** the next few weeks. NO offers showed up. I contacted them several times and each time. "I have your account open and you have offers pending and should receive them in the next few weeks" I was told I had been sent offers in August. I did not see them They sent a test E-mail and it came within seconds. They did not send anything prior. I asked for a "snip-it" of the time-stamped E-mail proving they sent one. This was beyond their capability. This is a scam. Then I was told a manager would call and talk to me. This has yet to happen. Avoid this company at all costs. I have contacted the authorities.Initial Complaint

On July 13, 2022 I was contacted by Advance Travel Network with regards to my unused timeshare travel weeks. Advance Travel Netowrk said they would advertise my unused time and rent it out to people for $1800 per week. I was required to pay $1996 up front and they would get the weeks rented out and I would receive $1800 for each week that was rented out. Advance Travel Network claimed they would have at least one week rented out within 180 days. Over the course of a year, Advance travel network only contacted me 3 times with potential renters all of which were invalid offers that could not be accepted. When I contacted them multiple times throughout the year they said I just had to keep waiting. I asked for my money back since they were not able to produce viable offers they said I had to wait 1 year without viable offers to get my money back. When I called in July of 2023 to get my money back they said there was nothing they could do. At this point the only resolution I am looking for is to get back the $1996 I paid upfront since Advance Travel network has not been able to fulfill their obligations providing valid rental offers that I can accept.Initial Complaint

In April I received a call from Advance Travel Network saying that they could rent out 4 of our timeshare weeks through ********************** for $1,800 each. We had to pay a $1,996 "activation" fee, which was lie number one. It's not an activation fee, but instead an advertising fee. I had two different calls with these people and asked ALL the questions. I was assured over and over that there were people who were already committed to purchasing these weeks (lie number 2) and that we would receive $7,200 back within 90 days. I even questioned lines on the contract and was told that certain things within it did not apply to our situation and that we were GUARANTEED a refund if they didn't rent out those four weeks within 90 days. We have received multiple offers from them, but only after I call to complain. Every time they send an offer, at least half if not all are not even for places that can be rented through Interval. The first time I requested my refund, I was told that I had to wait until 180 days were up and if they did not rent them out by then (October 4th), we could get our refund back. October 5th I call and am told that the automatically re-advertise the units at no cost once the 180 days are up and they now have an additional 180 days to rent out the properties. So again, we were lied to. Not to mention the contract states that only happens upon my written request - which I didn't do.Called last week and received the same nonsense, "we would be receiving an offer this week or next." We did receive another offer and again none of the locations are available. This time when I called back, I was told that I cannot be transferred to management, but instead am put on a list where they have 48 hours to call me back. I have decided to dispute the charge with my financial company, but this company is a complete SCAM and should not legally be allowed to operate at all. They take people's money, lie about everything they are doing, and then keep the money.Initial Complaint

On or around November 3, 2022 I took a phone call from ************ from Jennifer at Advance Travel Network. I signed paper work for them to rent out my vacation property and was promised the rental for them. I signed a contract and paid a fee., I called several times to collect the money. They said they had all three rented and They would email me a link to accept the monies collected. No check or email came.Business Response

About a year ago I was sold a service that stated I would make money for renting my timeshare out and I would receive this in January 2023 asthey had a company that was looking to rent the space out. Jan came and they claimed they didn't have someone anymore but would notify me when they had renters. In June I called and was told they would send me offers next week (which they never did). I asked when the contract is up and I'd get my money back for the failed service and they said Nov. I tried to view the documents they had me sign but the system they use locks you out once you sign and doesn't give you a copy. Now in Nov I call requesting my refund since they said Nov is when the contract would end and I would get refunded (I spent a few thousand dollars and they assured me it was a sure thing). Now they are claiming I had to cancel within 10days of entering contract and all they do now is continue working to get renters to get me my money back. This is clearly different than what they told me months ago. They havnt done anything to rent my place. I just want my money back at this point. They are clearly a scam and they are not a legitimate business.Initial Complaint

If I could give this company a "0" I would. This is a total scam and waste of money! I was promised in Oct of 2022 that ATN would be renting our timeshare units, for profit to us, for a marketing fee. I was told that we would only have to answer the phone when the renters were checking into the properties in December of 2022. And if something happened, they would refund our money in full. After no response from ATN I called them in Dec at which point they informed me that we would basically have to do the work for them to confirm weeks/resorts when/if they had offers to rent our units. Over the course of the year, we only heard from ATN when we pestered them and only had 3 rental offers none of which turned into a true rental or profit for us. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I feel stupid for even trusting them with anything at all. Needless to say, we have not received any refund and the ************************* has all the details of this scam.
