5 starsWe have had Storm Smart roll down curtains for many years. They performed magnificently during our two recent hurricanes. We recently added storm panels to beef up protection on our impact windows. Overkill?? Maybe so. But after ***, anything is worth the piece of mind. Our installer was efficient and knowledgeable. 1 starStormSmart, buyer beware!Our StormSmart hurricane curtains were damaged during Hurricane **** as 2 holes were punched through one of the 3 curtains. We contacted StormSmart to schedule a tech to come out to take a look, and was quoted $130 to have him stop over. Tech determined because of the 2 holes, the 32 foot wide curtain must be replaced, we gave approval. After several months, StormSmart arrived with replacement curtain. Upon inspection we found 2 holes in the replacement curtain. When we pushed back that we would accept the replacement curtain the installers became frustrated saying it should be no big deal since the holes would be hidden up in the roll when the curtain was up. Second replacement curtain was ordered, in the meantime we were billed $4k. Second curtain arrived in April 2023, and was installed, three weeks later we left to head north for the summer. September 2023 arrived back to our *****************, and tried to raise the curtains. This time curtain 2 jammed going up. Curtain 2 was adjusted by StormSmart techs while replacing curtain 1 that had the holes. Reached out to StormSmart on September 17 to schedule service call, was told October 17 was first available date. October 17 no techs. Called StormSmart and was told there was no record of our scheduled appointment. Reached out to service manager who told me someone from StormSmart had gone into their scheduling system on October 12 and canceled the October 17 appointment. We rescheduled another appointment for November, no one showed up. Scheduled another appointment for December 4. On November 29 I called StormSmart to confirm was told yes tech would be here on December 4. On December 4, no tech showed up. Called StormSmart was told someone would reach out to me to reschedule. Was called today by StormSmart and told they could now reschedule me for February 14, **** which is 5 months after our initial service call. StormSmart doesnt return phone calls or value their existing customers,Storm Smart Building Systems, LLC

1 starEveryone who has praised this company for great installation, just wait until you have an issue and need them to come back to fix THEIR bad workmanship, then we can talk again. This is THE worst company to deal with. Their after sales service is NON-EXISTANT. I have been trying for over a year for them fix a lock on an accordion shutter and to fix the manual override that they installed in the DRYWALL without any reinforcement. The entire mechanism broke out of the wall when I needed to use it. TWO of their technicians have agreed that it should never have been installed that way. Shortly after the hurricane, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for being busy and not being able to help me straight away. After 6 months and after leaving NUMEROUS messages without any response, I drove to their offices. After explaining what I needed, I finally got an appointment...only for nobody to show up!! I again waited months for a second appointment, and this time the technician could not fix the issue as he did not have the correct part(s). I finally received a 3rd appointment date - 11/07/23. This technician (******) ALSO had the incorrect information as to what needed to be done. He gave me his cellphone number and said he himself will be back the next day with all the parts to come and fix it. When he did not show up, I sent him a text and he told me he had left all the information with his manager who was going to phone me back that same day or the next day to arrange for the work to be done. It is now a WEEK later and I have heard NOTHING, I have left two messages already and surprise, ****** is also not responding to me. What else do I need to do to get this fixed! This is shocking and disgusting from a company who is supposedly the best in *******. BUYER BEWARE. I would give 0 stars if I could.Storm Smart Building Systems, LLC

1 starPlaced our order with Storm Smart 2/2022 for entire home install of new impact windows and sliders. Installation began 8/2022. Fast forward to 11/2023 our impact sliders and windows are still not installed properly or with correct product. They ordered wrong sliders not once but twice. Showed up again today with two wrong panels. Guess that will be order number three, if anyone shows up to figure this out. Still missing correct front door. Windows are now leaking. Two Sliders installed wrong so water runs in the tracks, on the inside if our home. That was a major disaster during hurricane **** So many problems. We are so aggravated/disappointed beyond words. **************** HORRIBLE. I advise you NOT to order from Storm Smart. This company is beyond awful.Storm Smart Building Systems, LLC

2 starsI have a rear lanai storm catcher rolldown *** manual crank that was installed with resof the house windows and doors that has only last since April 15th, 2022 and it is broken cannot be cranked up or down AT ALL . We called in for repair since this is hurricane season THREE WEEKS AGO WERE GIVEN RUN AROUND and are now saying they cannot fix until NOVEMBER 18TH.THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE this work has a 5 YEAR WARRANTY . we need it FIXED NOW ALSO THE PLASTIC COVERS FOR THE ACCORDION LOCKS HAVE ALL BROKENN WITH THE HEAT WE NEED NEW ONES THAT WILL WORKStorm Smart Building Systems, LLC
