      This company runs a scam business. They rent really expensive vehicles and don't monitor damage appropriately. They are trying to charge me $1,600 for a scratch I didn't do. I would highly recommend that you never doing business with these crooks.I have been renting 20 plus cars a year for 10 plus years. If I would have caused any sort of damage I would have reported it. I just noticed they are not BBB Accredited. That is a shocker.Renter's beware of these rats. I wanted to leave a zero rating but I can't.

      **** is a horrible company. Do not be fooled by their low prices for luxury cars! I read all the bad reviews online, and decided to try for myself anyway, and boy did I regret it!The rental process took forever, I did not get the car I rented, and the car was filthy inside. But to be honest those downsides pale in comparison to the enormous risk you face when renting from Sixt. You see, they will try to charge you thousands of dollars in damage fees for anything that happens to the car while in your possession, even if the damage is caused by the environment or other people you have no control over. Door ding in the parking lot? You will be charged. Hailstorm? You will be charged. Tree branch falls on car? You will be charged. Unknown kid eggs you on the way out of the Sixt parking lot? You will be ************ is our story: We picked up our car at midnight on Friday night at the airport. The wait and rental process took about 45 minutes. The next day we saw a small two inch crack in the front windshield that started from a chip caused by a rock kicked up on the highway. We had the car for 9 days in the hot/code Fall weather, and each day the crack grew a few inches until it was about 2 feet long. When we returned the car Sixt tried to charge us $1100 for a new windshield. To add insult to injury they tried to tack a $300 admin fee on top of the actual cost!If they try to make you pay for something like this, tell them NO and then ignore them! It is well established in many court cases that rental car companies cant charge you for damage unless you misused or abused the vehicle in a way that directly caused the damage. They will harass you for a while and then give ***** NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRYING SIXT FOR EVEN A SINGLE RENTAL!!!

      Deceptive business practices. I was asked if there would be any other drivers on the vehicle and I mentioned my spouse (wife) would also be driving. They added her but failed to mention that it would increase the price of the car rental by 35%! Every other car rental company I have ever used allows this for free. And they failed to tell me it was an add on charge. I accepted the agreement given they mentioned I would also receive my $100 deposit back and after a long flight, failed to realize that was a separate transaction.I call their support line and they offered me a $50 dollar voucher. Almost half of the deceptive fee they already charged **** get the feeling this is one of those companies that advertises a low cost rate and the fees you to death using deceptive ************ not reward this company for unethical business practices nor become a victim!

      I wish that I had read the reviews before I rented from this company. First I had to wait overnight until 5:am in the morning to rent. I was not given the original vehicle that was reserved and told that the big bulky truck they rented me was an upgrade. My issue now that after I have returned the vehicle on 9/4/25 there is still a hold on my credit card of the full amount plus the security hold and Sixt has been paid as well. I called to have the security hold released and was told that it has been. The agent told me I needed to seek professional help because I requested a supervisor and because I got irate when she continued to try and assist and not get one. Then she put me on hold for several minutes and released the call without coming back to the phone. Another person just hung up the phone as well. I called the counter and no one answers. Boy, I wish I had read the reviews before renting from them. It is important to stick with what you know like ***** Hertz, Dollar, Budget DO NOT RENT FROM SIXT, the customer service stinks too

      I reserved a car but then had to cancel the reservation. They charged me a non-refundable $100 fee for the cancellation even though it was made in an hour or two. I can understand non-refundable fees, but for a reservation that was made more than a week ahead of time and was canceled within a couple of hours of making it is extreme. ******* tried to get the refund for me but Sixt refused. Needless to say I will never use them and I will warn others not to, as well.

      I rented a car from here June 2025. Because of a canceled flight I arrived 24 hours after my reservation, but still paid for the entire trip. The person that checked us in said we could get a larger car for no more money because of the extra days credit. That turned out to be false and we ended up being uncharged several hundred dollars. After we returned the vehicle, the location tried to fine us for damage to a tire rim that did not happen while we had the vehicle. When I requested images with date time stamps of the damage and rental records of who had the car between the time we returned the car and they notified us of damage, they refused. I would not recommend this company.

      Beware of Sixt Rental Car! I returned a vehicle in good condition, yet months later, they claimed $805 in damages, now reported as $900 to credit bureaus. Their evidence is fraudulent and inconsistent. They provided an invalid invoice from ****** Motors (#*******M), which I verified with ****** Motor Cars as nonexistent, and a $0 invoice from A&R Autoglass with unexplained charges. The photos they provided lack critical details like the **** timestamps, or proof I caused any damage. The location in the photos doesnt even match where I rented the car, and the photos show someone elses hands and phone.Sixt has a history of deceptive practices, including a $11.07 million class action lawsuit settlement in 2025 for charging renters for damages in violation of rental agreements. Their actions violate consumer protection laws, and Im disputing this fraudulent claim with Summit AR, filing complaints with the BBB, and considering legal action. Protect yourselfavoid Sixt and their false claims!

      I Rented a car from ***, ****************** Branch August 1st-4th. I lost the key made a claim and they told me they have no spare keys and that they would need to order one. To amend the rest of my time in ******* they rented out another vehicle to me. The original vehicle I was locked out of had some of my valuable belongings inside and I discussed with management explicitly that I needed them to call me when they accessed the vehicle. To no surprise they did not reach out to me at all and all of my belongings in the vehicle I was locked out of have not been accounted for and after immediately putting in a lost items claim they say that nothing was found. This is very shady due to the fact the vehicle was locked and only accessed by SIXT so for them to tell me no items were recovered is a blatant lie ultimately leading me to the conclusion that my belongings were stolen by employees. This is a horrible look for a business that's all about professionalism and luxury.

      This company has no moral or ethical standpoint of business to consumer interactions at all they are the worst company Ive rented from thus far and I plan to never return to them again they are a scam and they are not accredited either which is another issue I have with them they are no good for consumers and I will not recommend them ever again

      Ruined my credit when I was told I have damage on a car I didn't incur. The scratches they reported were all over the car. Not sure how an "accident" can cause minor scratches everywhere. Insurance also claimed that I'm not responsible. So naturally the process took way longer and now collection is involved. Use this rental company and you will regret it.
