      I went to Eye Lab in New Caney Tx in mid Jan. 2023 i had my exam, gave them my old frames to use and i ordered sunglasses. It was close to 4 weeks before just my regular glasses came in, still no sunglasses. I couldn’t see , everything was blurry. I was told that percription did not look right when they looked it up. I was given a new eye exam, waited another 3 weeks, went in (still no sunglasses) and the new glasses i got was all blurry again. i was told they filled it with the first percription not the second one!! I asked for a refund , which i got. I called my vision insurance VSP to get my benefits reinstated, VSP told me eye lab needed to notify them that i didn’t get glasses and that i was paid my money back. I called to go to another company, i was told i had no be if it’s until 2024. I called VSP, i have to pay VSP 100 dollars because Eye Lab did not refund VSP back the 100 dollars VSP paid them It is now3 months later , i still have no glasses and need to pay 100 dollars to VSP before i can get my benefits reinstated !!!

      The person examining your eyes is not there,they are on a screen.They sent the wrong prescription on my contacts. They also gave me the wrong prescription on glasses..I recieved messages from them on 2 separate occasions saying my order was in. I drive to get them and only ONE contact is there and the other it was the wrong glasses..They even examined my eyes twice...I would advise avoiding this place at all cost

      The protective films on my lenses are starting to scratch off and lift around the edges and theyre not even half a year old! They told me at one of their locations that there was nothing that could be done. Do not buy eyeglasses from this place! They are a scam and are very shady with their guarantees/warranties. They also treated my eyeglass purchase like a used car lot wheeling and dealing appealing offers. If it smells like a scam, then it is a scam. The frames are delicate and are already loose at the hinge. They are definitely a business and not a service. Once they get your money, you are history!

      They do not honor the satisfaction guarantee on their website.Prescription was redone 2 times and I still cant use these glasses.Very frustrating.

      My eyelab put the wrong prescription in my frame and since it was a lot pass 30 days they would not correct the problem .

      They blatantly lie to your face. They told me the ad on their website for contact lens package was old and not updated. I was told I'd never find my contact lenses online and while trying to prove her point she pulled up **** contacts which lol and behold there were the lenses. Told me the crazing on my glasses lens was due to using lens wipes which I told her I used to see the response. After I said I used lens wipes she said oh yeah they do that to the lenses. I said what should I use she said soap and water. I use soap and water so that was another lie. They are super shady and lots of false advertising

      I was told if I came in I'd pay 99$ for an exam and a trial pair of contacts. I get there and the Optometrist isn't even there. She was on a screen and could barely even speak English. I finished the exam and was told I'd have to pay almost 300$ for some contacts. I refused and said I'd rather have the trial pair and look for cheaper alternatives. The lady told me its not company policy to give trial pairs if you're not buying anything. Only after calling corporate while I was in the store did she come back and say they'll order a TRIAL pair complimentary. I highly recommend you search else where because I found a much cheaper pair of contacts for my astigmatism at Walmart.

      I recently had to replace the lenses in my glasses. They were not scratched but the coating was bubbling and coming loose. I had to pay 20% of the total cost of the glasses to get them replaced. I should not have been charged for a manufacturer mistake. Never will use this service again!

      I am displeased with the entire experience. When I went back to get my glasses 2 weeks later only one was there and the second pair and just shipped that day. The associate continually tried to adjust the frames but they were not right-I didn’t look exactly like the frame I had on when he sold them to me two weeks prior but I kept trying to adjust to them. My script had a VERY mild change so even when the vision lacked clarity I told myself to give it a couple days. I worked in optics for 5 years so I do know about the optical world and this pair of glasses was just not right. When my mother and I made it home later in the day I still could not quite pinpoint the way they felt and what was wrong. I took them off and looked closely at the temples-they seemed very long to me…they were a 140 length and I KNOW I would never have purchased or even tried on a 140…I have never been able to wear over a 135 but most times I’m a 130 temple length so where the pair of glasses he had came from I don’t know but it wasn’t what I was fitted with. The clarity of vision is much better through my 3 year old pair I have. I have not worn the glasses I picked up since that evening and will not get to and do not wish to even see the clear ones. I just want a full refund and I shall go elsewhere. The associate upon the first visit was pleasant and we exchanged good conversation and yet when we returned to get them he never smiled, he didn’t know how to adjust the glasses at all, he acted like I was interrupting him! And I didn’t know it was a virtual exam either but no matter that I can not see through the distance of these glasses nor do they fit my face. And if it is said that those are the frames I bought then as an optician the associate should have brought to my attention that the temples were far too long for me. He was all happy when I offered to do a survey, which I did, for him but he was stoic when I went back. The AR coating is not good quality either. I would like a refund!
