  This moving business was trustworthy from the moment they provided me the initial estimate until the last delivery. There were no additional fees, and the service was excellent.

  Horrible. After being quoted a flat rate for a certain cubic footage and $3.75 per additional cubic foot, and being assured this was the total price, a week before moving day theyre trying to charge me $5.78 per cubic foot, saying the extra charges are fees that go without saying (exact quote of ********, a manger I spoke with)! The result is my $5,800 move is now $7,800! And its my fault (according to both ******** and *******, two managers I spoke with) that I believed what the sales agent told me and didnt add in the obvious fees on top of the actual quote I got.

  Whoever put anything above a 1 star review definitely works for the company or is straight up scam. I have been scammed several thousands of dollars (6k!!!!!!) to Extra Space ********************************************** Lucrative *** Lines LLC, and Best Move *** Lines LLC. Originally, I was contacted by Extra Space ********************************************* based out of ******* to get a quote for a move from ****** to ******. I was quoted around 3k total. I placed a $1505 deposit and sent that directly to Extra Space Moving and Storage. Then without my knowledge that they would use a third party source, they sent some random guy with a Penske truck over to our Dallas ********* he came in and immediately said this stuff is non-stackable and your estimate has changed. It went from 3k to 5k now. They overcharged me. I'm missing lots of items and they destroyed almost every little thing. They added all the extra fees of elevators, extra walk, more SQ feet of items, non-stackable items, heavy items, every little thing. Also, the guy that destroyed our TV gave 0 s**** I found most of this scam business is associated with this address ************************************************* I have the numbers of two of the movers too. One was from ***** and one from *******. Smh. Waiting on the claims department, yay.

  They withdrew money from our account. They called the a few days prior to the move and demanded more money. They wouldn't return what they had already taken. The movers they hired demanded cash at hand, didn't unload all of our items and jetted off with our cash and proprty.

  I was manipulated into signing an estimate under high pressure sales tactics. Only to find out that they would not refund my money. No one pointed out at the time of signing that it was nonrefundable. Hoping of course I wouldnt see it. I would have never signed if I had known. When I tried to cancel only minutes later no one answered the phone so I left a message indicating that I would like to cancel. When they did contact me, the first word out of their mouth was nonrefundable. Reputable movers would allow a timeframe to cancel. I mean it was only minutes and Extra Space Movers had put no effort towards the planning of our move. I would understand if they had started arranging and setting things up. But the only effort they did was charge my card. Im not sure why they would take advantage of their customers or future customers. I feel they should refund all my money as a fair and honest company would do. Just refund my money. I am out $1000 for nothing.Regrets

  EXTRA SPACE MOVING AND STORAGE completely ripped me off!!!!! Here is my experience, the *********************** that I spoke too said I was going to be getting a 24ft truck and that all my stuff would fit in there after telling her what I had and how much stuff I had, more then once may I remind you. However after a couple of things and a few boxes they said they were finished and when I asked about the rest of my stuff and all the space that was left in the truck, they told me that I had only booked 286 cubic ft of their truck. Complete rip off. practice is very much deceptive. They dont point things out in the contract or answer ur questions when you ask about something in the contract. Furthermore when I went to contact them about it, the other lady ******* was very rude and nasty. You cant treat clients this way. Dont use this company unless you want a stressful move.
