  Moved last year using them. Was quoted $2100 to move 1 bedroom apt based on the list of things I needed moved. Gave them a $1300 deposit (non-refundable). Got a confirmation call a day later stating the price was $3,100. The representative I spoke with the day before 'did not record' all the items I listed to him. So, the second representative deceitfully claimed all those items were not in the first quote ($2100) and the new quote was $3100. I was angered and said 'cancel it, then he said I would lose the $1300 deposit... I was on a tight move schedule and finally decided to proceed with the move. The movers they sent jacked me too, They charged.an addition $300 push a cart 100 feet down a smooth level indoor hallway..... Long story short, the "$2,100" move cost me $4,000. - for a one bedroom apt

  This company is f****** ridiculous! So, I moved a 1 bedroom apartment. Total cost over $3,000. When they first showed up to my place to pick everything up they packed things that wasn't supposed to be packed and I didn't realize until it was too late. It took over 2 months to get my stuff back. Boxes crushed heavy stuff on top of fragile things and I almost didn't get all my stuff. Plus I received someone else's stuff and I have no clue what to do with it. I mean it's pretty cool so I may just give it to my kid! Thanks to the driver that can barely speak English! This was the worst company ever! Not Recommended!

  Terrible company. They contracted our move with a mover I ********* called Pelican. Terrible company. Probably talked to Extra Space 50 times asking for help. They said they couldnt do anything. Took5 months to get our stuff in three small shipments. Broken scratched and missing . Somethings never showed up. DO NOT USE

  WARNING! This company is not legitimate and a scam! Do not use! If only I could select zero stars. They prey on people who are vulnerable in one of the most stressful events : moving. They lied on the phone I can count up to ten lies in the first conversation and hooked me with a "locked in" low price. 5 days before move spoke to " quality assurance" man who said my price is now 3 times more? I called " customer service" where she told me it was "my fault for signing the initial contract with deposit, that I should have looked it over more thoroughly" and " as a woman I shouldn't trust men in the world" and it sounds like " I gave them too much information about myself "(that I had never used a moving ** before) and that they "got one over on me." She said I am to blame bc I should have made sure every inventory item had measurements next to it. Then asking this to be done with the "quality assurance man" again he said "his system won't actually allow him to put measurements next to the items." The "quality assurance " and " customer service " both told me " items can be measured once items packed in truck and price adjusted on the spot. *** of the move a " driver" arrives and he claims the binding contract I signed means nothing and "everything starts over with him bc he is subcontractor." I had 334 cu ft of items, he looks around and says " he can just tell I have 800-1000 cu ft and my price is 3 times more than binding contract. I said I want to measure items once packed, he said " we don't measure, I can just tell." He also explained my items would be handed off to " dumb dumbs" at 2 different warehouse facilities and given to 'another driver" to make the cross country move and then the truck is "too big" so they will bring my things to a ******** and I can get them with my own uhaul." Fired them on the spot and retrieved both payments from Venmo and cc company. It's ********. Rented budget truck and drove it ourselves for 1/3 of price.

  DO NOT USE! Just the same SAD story as everyone else who got scammed. If I could put zero stars I would, I have a whole stream of emails trying to get ahold of someone to help, to try and get an estimated pick up, an estimated delivery, and we're still waiting for our things AND they **** you off to other sub-contracted movers who get your invoice wrong and try and have you pay an extra $1500 when they already DOUBLED close to TRIPLED what they quoted you in the beginning. They also omit so much information and whenever you try and ask questions they try and give you an answer based on what you want to hear until you can't do anything else and everything is in their hands and on their own time and you're s*** out of luck and just have to pay a s*** load of money and have to wait and completely be controlled by THEIR time. I've gone weeks without any further information and currently days without getting any update on delivery or correction of my invoice. They take advantage of young people needed to relocate as well and will put you in such a bind that you can't do anything else and lawyering up may not be worth the time or money.More details: My partner and I were moving from *******, ** to ******, ** out of a barely 600sq ft apartment and took a good amount of clothes and random things with us in the car. They picked up our stuff while we were waiting OUTSIDE with our things on the curb on 6/31 and we arrived to ******** 6/5 and have barely heard of a delivery estimate or any correction about anything (it is now 6/10). I have been calling and emailing every day and got a response once 2 days ago saying to send some screen shots of receipts and invoices and BOL, but haven't heard back from them again. I have continued to call and email with no success or response. We've been sleeping on an air mattress and cooking on the stove in the park because we have no cookware.   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I signed up with an internet special. After 3 months they more than doubled my rate, telling me there is fine print in the contract that allows them to raise rent at their discretion. They simply have to send you a 30 day notice that they are raising it. They do this taking advantage of the fact all your stuff is moved in and you are forced to deal with rate hike. Super shady tactic. The sales rep ***** should have at minimum been required to mention this, especially since it is such an extreme price increase. Sad that they pedicate their business model to prey on people like this. Come to find out this is something they do on a regular basis to lure and trap customers.

  These people are *******. They say they are veteran owned and turn around and stab you in the back. The veteran discount was pure **. They gave a quote and we were leary because of the bad reviews, but being a veteran owned company I thought they would have some honor. THEY DO NOT!!!! They are common criminals. We explained EXACTLY what furniture we had. We got our quote and they outsourced the job to another company. They showed up and demanded an extra 1100 dollars. They are scumbag criminals too. They are called Expert Logistics LLC. Avoid them also. I cannot believe a company says they support veterans and are veteran owned, but turn around and fleece you like a common criminal. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!

  SCAM!! I hope people don't do what I did. I read reviews on Extra Space Storage and other moving companies and, unfortunately, called Extra Space Moving and Storage thinking they were the same company. *************************, the "consultant" was nice, I told him I was elderly, he assured me that he would be available to help me from now until the items are delivered to my new house by 4/12. I told him I needed a truck for a 3 BDR house, was assured I had that. He did not allow me to get off the phone & prompted me to click here and there. After 24 hrs. I got a call from **** confirming my list: a dining room table (no chairs), 2 mattresses (no frames). When I questioned it, he told me to check the contract. Obviously, I enjoy sleeping on a mattress and eat standing. When I told him that I was scammed he hung up on me. When I called again to speak with a supervisor she told me that she was it and could not help me. Next day I found out via an obscure email that she had canceled my contract without informing me. So I called again and was told that she made a mistake. The truck was supposed to pick up the items on 4/10 & deliver by 4/12. They showed up on 4/11 and picked up a couch, a love seat, and 2 dressers. They explained to me that they are contracted by Extra Space for a certain cubic footage and mine only allowed these items. I've contacted the ***************************** and will file multiple complaints. Hopefully, someone will do something about these companies that prey on the elderly. I've called ************************* daily but he disappeared. When I ask about him I'm told he just left for lunch, was sick, on vacation, yada, yada, yada. Everyone I talk to at Extra Space are manager, no one to escalate issues to. Was told by the truck driver that items could be damaged as he had a semi, full of other deliveries along with mine and maybe, the 3 items I paid thousands will be delivered on Wednesday, no assurances, maybe and who knows in which shape. What can be done?

  Absolutely 0/10 !!!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I made the huge mistake on booking with them and I paid the price !!! From the beginning I was promised a day that my stuff was going to get picked up and boy were they wrong. Never communicated, never called. I had to call them every single day from the start of my pick up date until 2-3 hours before they finally picked my stuff up which was two days late of which I was promised.. come to find out they dont even do the move all they do is pricing and contracts. They barely could get me in contact with the people who were actually doing my move. Once the movers got their they tried to make me sign a contract that had no total price so they could start working. Didnt work I waited until they finished and the guy who ran the job tried to heckle me up another $200 because I took up to much SQUARE FOOTAGE not once during my quote was I given a price based off square footage and neither was it mentioned to me. That didnt work either I made him recalculate the area in front of me and I was actually under the so SQUATE FOOTAGE that was allowed even doe I was never even mentioned a total square footage. Upon pickup I found out that this was a complete different company doing my move that had nothing to do with extra space moving fast forward a week and I call extra space moving to figure out where my belongings are at. Come to find out they dont even have any idea!!!! One person tells me they are on the way, one tells me 5-7 business days and another tells me 5-14 then tells me they legally have 21 days According to my bill of lading a company by the name of best for you moving is the actual company supposedly doing my move so I call them trying to figure out whats going on. Once the phone finally answers they tell me theyve been out of business for a year, I would type more but Im running out of characters STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  This is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with. Huge scam and the customer service is terrible. Once they get your money they wont even speak with you to address the problems they created! Terrible terrible terrible. Wish I could leave no stars!!
