  Our experience with this company was one of the worst of our lives. Moved from Kansas to arrive at our new home and then wait for 2 days for our belongs. They were held hostage for more money then origi ally quoted. Then our things arrive and every item that was moved by this company was damaged in one way or another. Our claim for damages that was in the thousands was made a joke of by them offering us $79.00 in damages. Dont have anything to do with Extra Space Moving unless you want to have nothing but hassle after hassle and loss of property. Run the other way!

  Nope!!! Called several weeks ago looking for quotes, told them I had to wait to give move date. Few days later they started blowing up my phone, calling several times a day, sometimes 5 minutes after previous call. When I told them I wasnt going to use them, the phone calls increased. When I told them to quit calling, Id get answers like ok talk to you tomorrow or if youre on the list well keep callingrude, obnoxious, considering contacting state atty general

  DO NOT BOOK! MISS REPRESENTED PRICE, NO SHOW NO CALL. SECOND ATTEMPT 45 MIN. LATE NO CALL. THEN SAID IT WOULD TAKE MORE ROOM AND TRIED TO CHARGE MORE.

  Extra Space Moving and Storage purposely misleads customers to get them financially committed. They told me they would do my move themselves for $2200. I said I would think about it, so they offered me a $300 discount for a total of $1900 if I accepted right away. I agreed, but I had to sign a contract and pay a 50% deposit, $950 upfront. A few days before the move, they called and said that the price quote was based on 260 square feet. I had never been told that square footage determined price, and they hadn't asked me to estimate square footage. I now said I would need 430 square feet, so they told me the price increased to $3,000, and I would have to give another $700 deposit. I asked to cancel the whole thing, but they said the deposit was non-refundable. So I paid the new deposit. We agreed on a move date of January 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM for the pickup, and January 10 for the delivery. That morning I got a call from a completely different contractor who would be the mover, and he told me that Extra Space Moving and Storage is the broker, not the mover. They had contracted him, without ever telling me. Extra Space now was not returning my calls, and the email link to the contract I had signed was now expired, so I couldn't even read it. The mover did pick up my belongings, but a day later than planned, after I had to leave town and couldn't be there personally. He then said the price would be $5,000. The initial quote I agreed to was $1900, but now he had my belongings and I had no choice but to find the money and pay. That mover then contracted the move to another mover, who did not deliver until January 16, six days later than Extra Space originally promised. Worst of all, they gave me extra items belonging to another customer. I notified them and wanted to help get them to the right family, but the mover ignored me. No one cared. The entire process was deceptive, and Extra Space took my money by lying about who, how, and when the move would be done.

  Please beware of this company with their bussiness practices. I decided to change the mode of moving our home to another state and call this company to let them know i wouldnt need the services. I was told over and over again that the deposit was fully refundable. I didnt believe it would be a problem. After unsuccessfully reaching ******* who was assigned to my move. I called the customer service number at which i was placed on hold for 40 minutes. I hung up and called again and it was like i never hung up and was still on hold with the same elevator music playing. Mean while my husband was blocked from calling. I hung up agian they called back with my full name because they already gather who I was. At the time the deposit was to be taken by my bank routing and account number our representative wasnt able to do it by ach payment so they took it by my bank card unknowingly i signed not reading the agreement saying i cancel out any form of refund for the deposit. So at my surprise after talking to ***** she informed me that basically its my fualt that i cant get a refund and she can try to see if I could because the representative fail to tell me that my refund was no longer availble because of the mode the payment was made. ***** did take it upon her self to see if there could be any acception to my situation but basically her supervisor said not their fault but mines I am out of my deposit. I wish to God that I looked them up before i signed a contract I would have never signed the contract. Now Im either going to go ahead and let this company, that i have zero trust in handle my out of state move or be out completly of my family hard earned money. Im very disappointed, but thats what happens when you jump on a deal that was too good to be true. I know that it isnt anything that I can do to get my deposit back but karma is real. Nothing ever good is going to happen when you part take of deceptive bussines practices.

  STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE: I am APPALLED by the phone call I had with ***** and ***** at Extra Space moving. I wish I could have recorded the call once ***** started to verbally harass me. I simply wanted a quote, and I was not going to make a deposit payment over the phone without researching the company, plain and simple. The response I received once ***** realized I was not going to make the deposit is disgusting. He told me I was the biggest waste of his time, called me stupid, and told me I should go outside to find the biggest rock I can to kick myself with. I have NEVER experienced such threats, insults, and this level disrespect, even from **** companies. As a young woman inquiring about moving services, these representatives have made me feel harassed and unsafe. I hung up the phone and immediately received a text message from so called *****, who had just harassed me on the phone, and the text says "Send me a video when you go kick that rock please" Date and Time: Sunday, 3/3/24 10:30AM - 11AM The phone number from the call I was verbally harassed by matches the number in the company contact information. I have records of the phone call history and text messages. I would attach a screenshot if I could.

  Extra Space Moving and Storage LLC is a terrible Company. If I could give negative stars I would. I'm a senior and a widow, I needed to move cross country and got a great quote...initially. Then it doubled from the original estimate, then when Blue Lion (lying) Moving and Storage came and loaded the truck.....it went up by another $4,000.00. Ended up paying $7,000.00 more then quoted. Have you no dignity, nor morals. To do this to people in an already stressful situation is criminal. The three 5 star reviews are Bull---- obviously they work for the company. If your gonna act like a customer, at least be more detailed about your experience and make it a believable story and 4 stars maybe. You lied so well on the phone, seems your creative writing needs work. Again the are scammers so DO NOT use them.

  This company is terrible. They lie to you to get you to sign a contract so they can steal from you. I booked this company to move my stuff from ****** to ******* as I was not able to travel at that time of the year. They drastically low balled my estimate and got me to sign a contract by giving me a discount. They broke most of my boxes and totes during shipping, lied about how long delivery would actually take, and withheld information multiple times creating stress and anxiety by tacking on additional fees and charges at the last minute. Also, what they don't tell you, is that they are done with you after you put down that deposit. When it comes to moving your stuff, they subcontract to other one star companies to dispatch and schedule your delivery and then they subcontract to other movers that own the trucks. So you end up dealing with three different companies and never know who you are talking to or what company they work for. Bottom line, save yourself the headache. Do not book with these criminals.

  When I hired Extra Space Moving and Storage LLC for my cross-country move, I thought I'd gotten a great deal with their $5,000 quote. But things went downhill fast, and I want to give everyone a heads-up.Deposit Drama: They said they needed a deposit but ended up pulling about $3,000 out of my account without making it clear that's what they were going to do. This was done through an electronic check, so I couldn't even cancel it once I noticed.Price Jump: Just when I thought everything was set, they hit me with a bombshell that they'd need another $3,000 on top of the original quote, or they wouldn't move my stuff. This felt like a total bait and switch.Trapped Feeling: It seems like their game plan is to get you hooked with a decent quote, take a big chunk of money up front where you can't get it back, and then jack up the price when you're too boxed in to do anything about it.Be super careful if you're considering Extra Space Moving and Storage. They might give you a good initial quote, but watch out for sudden price hikes and deposit grabs. It's a pretty shady way to do business, in my opinion.Everyone should get treated fairly and know exactly what they're getting into, price-wise. Unfortunately, that's not what I got with Extra Space Moving and Storage LLC. I'd recommend keeping your options open and looking for a company that's up-front about costs and doesn't try to corner you with last-minute increases.

  Do not use. This is a slimy company that will take advantage and mislead you. Their rates are high and their sales tactics are misleading. The only people in the company youll talk to who seem like they care are the sales people, and thats only until theyve got you on the hook without you realizing. Again, steer clear of Extra Space Movers based out of *************, **. I wish I had checked this review page first.
