1 starPods is a very unprofessional and dishonest moving company. I hired Pods to move my goods from Maryland to FL. After Pods delivered my furniture I received another bill for $110.56 after I had paid my bill in full. I paid the bill after calling to inquire about the reason for the additional payment. After reviewing my invoice I did not see the charge on my invoice therefore I cancelled the payment, I called Pods to claim the damages to my furniture, but Pods did not answer my calls. a week later pods called me and left a return number for me to call them about the extra charge. I called Pods back and Pods informed me if I did not pay the $110.56 they would send me to a collection. I decided to protect my credit so, I sent Pods a signed Authorization Credit Card Form so they could receive the payment. I also informed Pods I wanted to claim the damage to my furniture again. Pods refused to provide me with a claim number until they received $110.56. I provided Pods with the signed form via email several times to clear up their claim for this payment. Pods Received the payment in full, and then sent me to the collection! Finally, Pods refused to pay for the damage to my furniture despite the fact I paid for a Protection plan to cover any damage to my furniture. Pods charged me an extra fee, and when I challenged the charge, pods sent me to the collection and denied my claim to pay for damage to my furniture. I want Pods to clear up anything on my credit and to pay for the damage to my furniture.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starIt's difficult to articulate all of my problems with this company as to what I believe is a deliberate attempt by them to make their customers default on their agreements and have to incur fees or potentially forfeit their Pod and it's contents. I've had issues since the beginning with them changing pickup times with no notification and attempting to charge me rescheduling fees to most recently when I was required to once again "update" my billing information on an automated recurring bill, even though nothing had changed with my information whatsoever. With this most recent experience my autopay was denied, I was unable to make a manual payment, and I was forced to completely enter my CC info and billing address like I was a new customer even though it was all the same information. I honestly believe by the way their customer services handles these issues that they intentionally make it difficult to pay or do business with them just so you can incur potential fees or lose your possessions. These experiences don't appear to be random miscommunications or computer errors but intentional to their business model.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starI hired pods for a move from St. Louis, Missouri to New York City, New York due to it being a company I have heard of for years. First off they do not give you a delivery window until the night before of the scheduled day. I was given a time of delivery of the pod from 11:45am-2:45pm, which is pretty long time frame to begin with. After waiting until the end of the window, I called customer service at 2pm and I was told the driver would call me shortly. The driver called me around 2:15 pm demanding I take pictures of the area the pod would be delivered. The driver yelled at me as I talked to management about the size of the area and explained that it is hard to tell from the pictures. The driver immediately cancelled my delivery. With my lease ending the following day, I contacted customer service and was told that driver said he arrived and took the pictures that I had taken MYSELF. After thoroughly explaining to customer service that I had sent those photos and that the driver never showed up, I had asked to talk to the local POD manger and was denied.. I was told that was not a possibility. My leasing office allowed me to extend my lease; however, I will have to pay a higher rate. Additionally, I had to find new last minute movers and that will cost more due to it being so last minute. Pods has not offered to do anything nor taken any accountability about the situation. I want a response from corporate as I want to be compensated for the time you wasted and the additional expenses it will cost me.PODS Moving & Storage

Pods responded back and compensated me 450 dollars while my expenses due to them canceling last minute was triple that and I explained that to them several times that I did not find that fit. I will never use PODs in the future nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know.Review fromAna J

1 starAwful experience with PODS - we were referred to a claims adjustor waited more than three months for them to deny my claim and now the denial states that I did not pack my precious damaged furniture, appliances and lather items correctly and possibly I damaged my own property to file an unwarranted claim. Absolutely shameless company, claims adjustor now stated he has no affiliation with pods and unable to come to my home to inspect and make a proper investigation to see that my three television are damaged internally and washer and dryer are completely disassembled! Something I couldnt do my self. PODS does not transfer our items with care and is very irresponsible during the transfer process. I paid about 8,500k and still have my washer dryer and three televisions to replace. I only ask thats PODS takes responsibility for those items that costed so much to replace to mentioning other furniture that is broken and yet still blame me the customer and accuse me of delinquency for damaging my own property ? I HOPE this turns into an action suit and recompenses all of us going through this frustrating process.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starI dont even know where to start.. my biggest mistake was trusting this company. I had called and asked for an extra day for the pods. **************** said, no problem, just before they come, theyll give you a call before pickup. Just tell them not to pick up because you now have an open case. Sounds good right?! Next morning, PODS ARE GONE! AND I didnt receive a call whatsoever. Still over half of my house items remain!! Called two warehouses (******* ** and ********** **), and multiple people on customer service, including supervisors!!! The manager in ********** personally talked to my husband and said they can get the pods back.. next day we go no response. We stayed in the apartment ONE MORE DAY just because we thought the pods were coming back. We had to be out the day prior. No one could do anything apparently, or is willing to help. Of course still willing to take my money. I WAS ON THE ***** FOR 4 HOURS. We had to be out of that house THAT day. Im active duty military and I have to have weight tickets. How am I supposed to have the correct weight if everything isnt in the pods? I hate being lied to and I hate being ran over like PODS did to me and my family. I have a one year old baby who was waking up at 2am-5am because mommy and daddy were packing last minute. That wouldnt have happened if we had our pods. Instead, we had to get a separate moving company to help us move the rest of our stuff that night. Guess what? They sure did help us, gladly. It was even bad weather, but they knew PODS dont treat their customers well anyway. I get sick thinking about paying off PODS. I want a refund for EVERYTHING! They dont deserve my money nor my business. I just called and asked today for them to email me the amount of times *** called and the notes made and they said they cant share it because its the companys property BUT ISNT THAT MY PROPERTY TOO!! 1 starBEWARE.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!Everything about this company is a NIGHTMARE! Ive spent thousands of dollars that I couldve used on a UHAUL & a storage unit & do i for less than this company, PODS! Trying to login to my account = Nightmare, their phone system doesnt give you an option for just purely customer service agent, finally get to tech support just to get hung up on bc I said I couldnt understand him. Go to chat route just to go in circles about what I need to use. Which everything that person was typing that I needed to use was what I had already done. CIRCLES. I WOULD TYPE BACK IT DOENT WORK. TECH KEPT TYPING THE SAME THING. EVEN TOOK PICTURES OF THE **** IN PAGE BUT OF COURSE YOU CANNOT UPLOAD TO THE ***** THIS COMPANY WAS FOR ME WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I WILL TELL ***************** ASKING IF PODS IS THE WAY TO GO, WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NOT!! THERE IS A BETTER WAY THAN PODS!!!! I WILL REPORT TO THE ******************************* REPORT! 1 starA total SHITSHOW! I ordered a month ago. On the morning of the delivery I got a phone call from someone who seems like they are mentally deficient. Trying to explain to me that my yellow (my House is beige) house had a tree in the driveway it wont fit. (No it doesnt) at this point they had already removed the money more than $600 from my account. When I canceled everything they said it would take 3 to 5 days to return my funds! They LNEW it wouldnt fit and took the money anyway!!!!!!! couldnt they have checked when I ordered if the pod was gonna fit how do they even know if its gonna fit if they dont show up at my residence, GPS and ****** maps is not going to tell you. Everyone I dealt with on the phone was inconsiderate, rude and unable to give me the information or the phone numbers to report them to superiors. What if I had to be out of my home that day???? Id be screwed! I asked to speak with corporate offices and was repeatedly hung up on and when I got through I was told they had no number for it (a lie) NEVER USE THIS SERVICE . 1 starThis is my first time ever leaving a negative review on the internet. I have verification that a storage unit that I helped someone open was then transferred from my name to this other persons name. I even have a copy of the signed change name request dated January/2021 and email correspondence with the agent who handled the transfer. I moved on with life not thinking about the storage unit until I was hit with a default on payment letter of $3454.50. This letter was sent to my old place of work which I unfortunately was not told about the letter until two days ago. I frantically emailed the name on the letter showing email correspondence about the storage unit transfer. The following day I located the transfer agreement from my name to this other person’s name and sent that as well. I received no response. I then called to see if I could rectify the situation by phone. I was told by the call centre representative that they could not help me since I was unable to provide a password or the street I grew up on. I explained that I received this default letter payment with my name on it, but still they couldn’t help. The outcome was that I was told to wait for a response from the email that I sent. There hasn’t been any acknowledgement that the email I sent was received. I am now nervous that my high credit score will be wrecked. I consulted with a lawyer who suggested gathering the documents and going through smalls claim court. I just want my name of this default payment and replaced with the persons name who unfortunately stopped making payments. I was shocked that I couldn’t be helped today because I don’t know the password to a storage locker that should have been out of my name four years ago. A number on the letter was provided only to be told that I could not be helped.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starIm surprised this company does not have a lawsuit pending! This is the worst company!!was told multiple times different pricings, and the way that their billing cycles work was different each person that Ive talked to talk to three different people and once I got to the supervisor finally because the representative before was refusing to get me to the supervisor told me to call back in an hour and if I called back an hour the supervisor would be available. Once I finally got the supervisor was told something different and was told that he was the only supervisor and the department which I believe is another lie that they like to tell and that theres nobody that you can talk to in the US , and they are all in the same office over seas which leads me to believe they co conspire but cant get their information correct because again then was told something completely different by the supervisor. do not support this company. 1 starHi, Just want to share my horror story that I have been dealing with for months all from having a pod delivered to my very first home that I purchased In September 2023 we had a pod delivered in our driveway, 4 days after closing on our first home. We had a brand new roof and gutter put on the day before the pod was delivered. Upon dropping off the pod in the driveway, the driver controlling the pod lifted it too high, causing major damage to our roof, gutters, and siding. I was told that this would all be taken care of with no hesitation. We were told to get 2-3 formal estimates and turn them in. For whatever reason it was extremely difficult to even get contractors to come out for an estimate. Some turned away the work saying that it may be structural, and others just took weeks and weeks to even get an appointment in. Fast forward to Beginning of December when all estimated were turned in and the case worker said that they were going to be reviewed and would get back to me. Weeks went by with no response so I began calling and sending the case worker emails. It is now January 24th and I have yet to receive a phone call, email or anything even when the voicemail says I should expect response within ************************************************************************************************************************************* as quickly as possible and forward it to her managing team. This was almost 3 weeks ago since that conversation and still have not heard anything. Absolutely frustrating to pay for a brand new roof just to have it ripped half way off the next day. Not only that but contractors said its not safe and we have not been able to park in our driveway or have our kids play near it. Just extremely irresponsible and wreckless.PODS Moving & Storage
