Scamming people who are trying to make direct hotel reservations on hotel websites, fake website appears to be booking direct and winds up on this third party site.....Charging ridiculously high rates and booking fees and not allowing customers to cancel without losing a large amount of money.
The most infuriating part is that I was charged more than I would have paid as a walk in guest. at said hotel!!! The price should have been less than $200 per night. I was charged a "discount rate" that was over $200 per night, taxes, plus an $89.00 processing fee and my total came to over $630.00!!!!
When I checked in I asked what the price for two nights would normally be, with all taxes and fees I was told $478.00

They may not be an actual scam, but they are scam-adjacent. As with all the other 1-star reviews, I got caught in their scammy web, making a reservation on my phone. I located the hotel I wanted to stay at via Google Maps, not realizing that the Map link would send me, not directly to the hotel, but to this bunch of crooks. Their website looks identical to the website of the hotel (where I had stayed before), but I was in a hurry and didn't triple check. I booked for 3 nights, knowing we might check out early, which we did. I noticed later that we had been charged for all 3 nights and a hefty service fee. Again, some of this is on me. But they went through every effort to delude me into thinking I was dealing directly with the hotel. They are almost impossible to get on the phone. I finally talked to a live person, who promised a return call from a supervisor, which I never received and now the phone number on my confirmation email has been disconnected. I've given up. Instead of wasting time and energy on trying to reach them, I am reaching out instead to my fellow consumers and begging you to be more careful than I was. I'm also hoping that, when the inevitable class action suit against them is formed, the lawyers will reach out to me. I would be delighted to be a party to it.

SO DISGUSTING A COMPANY CAN DO THIS! Scammed my family out of 2K dollars on hire charges. Absolutely disgusting, DO NOT book with them. I would not want anyone to have to deal with this emotional stress. Please be aware of where you are booking your hotels. Always check website addresses and book directly with the hotel.

My experience is sadly similar to those of the other reviewers. I wish I had known! Thinking I was booking a room on the hotel website, I was unknowingly redirected to this SCAM of a business. They sneakily charged me over $100 in fees that are not itemized when making the 1 night pre-paid reservation. I absolutely would not have made this reservation if I had noticed the hidden fees. Arriving at hotel, the staff there told me I was getting a smaller room than I had reserved and I would be credited for the difference. The invoice from the hotel showed the card on file as "Expedia Virtual Card", a credit card that was not mine. Now GuestReservations is telling me there is no credit to me because they can't get ahold of their hotel partner. So not only did they charge $100 in fees, but I also am losing the difference on the actual product I received of another $75. Predatory and deceptive business. 0 stars is entirely too many. They need to be run out of business ASAP.

I went online to book The Peninsula Hotel in Manila, Philippines, and I was clearly on the hotel’s official website. Somehow, it redirected me to this fraudulent company without my knowledge. After completing the reservation, I discovered that the booking went through this scam company. I immediately called to ask why there was an extra service fee of nearly 100 U.S. dollars and if I could cancel the booking, but they told me it was non-refundable and that even if I canceled, I wouldn’t get a single cent back.
This company is absolutely a scam — it’s outrageous, infuriating, and completely unacceptable!

This was VERY misleading. I looked up and clicked on the Holiday Inn website and booked my reservation. When I later had to change my reservation, I called IHG (Holiday Inn group) and they said that they showed that I had a room, but it was through a 3rd party. What?? No, I know I went directly to the Holiday Inn website. When I received the confirmation email, I called the number on it. It was NOT Holiday Inn (as the HI agent confirmed). It was called Guest Reservations.com. He suggested that I not cancel the reservation because of the cost of it and it would be "under review" if I received any of my payment refunded. I told him that it was extremely misleading that they must have had a pop up window when I clicked onto room type or something and I thought I was still on the HI website. I can get the room directly through HI for $80 less than what I paid on this bogus website. He acted like he never heard of this happening, but when I went to write a review, MANY others experience this same sneaky situation. I am so extremely upset. Even when I got the email, it doesn't outright show that you booked through a 3rd party. I KNOW they know that they're doing this and it's completely unacceptable. They're website should be SHUT DOWN!

They stole me 300 euros, I wanted a refund and they hanged up the phone.
They also claimed false information about their prices.
I couldn't even talked with the customer support

I DO NOT recommend booking a trip with Guessreservations.com. They will not modify or cancel your reservation for you. It's very hard to reach out to them and if so, they have you running around in circles wasting your time.

Like others, I intended to book a room on a hotel website and was redirected to this "business". They unknowingly charged me over $350 in "service fees". When I went to cancel the reservation, they insisted on a cancelation charge of almost $1150 (more than the 3 night stay at the hotel). Predatory and deceptive business. 0 stars is too many.
