I intended to book a room on a hotel website and was redirected to this "business". They unknowingly charged me over $200 in "fees". When I went to cancel the reservation, they insisted on a cancelation charge of almost $750 (more than the 3 night stay at the hotel). Predatory and deceptive business. 1 star is too many.

I attempted to book a room with the Holiday Inn. The rep who answered the phone told me that the Holiday Inn was booked up and he would place me in a adjacent property next to the Holiday Inn. I ask him what was the rating of the hotel he told me 4.5 and it was a top-notch hotel.. when I arrived at the property the hotel he recommended was not close to the Holiday Inn and it was a motel where you park outside and walk up the steps to the room. There was a sign on the office door that stated open, but no one answered the phone nor came to the office. After numerous phone calls, I ended up sleeping in my car. I prepaid for the room during the call and this was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced in my life. This company is running a scam lying to consumers and placing travelers in shady motels without any kind of recourse against them.

This company makes it look as if you are booking directly through the hotel. You are not. Invoice after booking clearly says "final payment" and then several other charges are incurred upon arrival. No check-in instructions ever sent. Hotel was 100% unmanned and doors locked when we arrived. No itemized invoice was ever sent after check-out. Hotel was terrible as well and nothing like advertised. I will never book on-line for a hotel again. This experience was terrible. This company should loose it's license to do business. No response from them when complaints, no person to talk to.

This company leverages National Park Service facility and park images in its Big Meadow Lodging web site to replicate the legitimate NPS lodging concessionaire. Everything looks legitimate. Recently made a reservation for the middle of September. In the reservation process, there was no mechanism to request a pet friendly room so we sent a note to the email on the confirmation email and were told we would have to cancel the reservation and request another room.

We cancelled that room and inadvertently booked the room through the legitimate concessionaire. That’s when we discovered the issue. Concessionaire cancellation policy 100% of fees, taxes, room deposit if cancelled more than 48 hours in advance. Guest reservations.com refunded taxes and fees (~$100) and per its very small font cancellations policy retained 100% of the room rate. (We cancelled that room about 30 days in advance.)

I’m confident this business will wrap itself in its clear but difficult to find and read policy, but it’s exorbitant cancellation fee, especially when it’s packaged in such a deceitful website, is simply a criminal scam. In that less than 12 hour period of time GuestReservations.com’s labor input and fiscal obligations nowhere amount to $300, especially when one understands all it has done is write a software interface tool that works through the legitimate reservation software and website the concessionaire uses.

Companies such as this should be required very prominently they are a third party service that imposes fees and limitations above and beyond those of the legitimate companies they serve as a a go-between (gouge-between?) for.

searched for tru by Hilton Lancaster PA. the site popped up with picture and address of the hotel. I come to find out after booking and being charged almost 45% more than I should have for taxes an service fees! called the contact number provided immediately and was told to reach out to the motel directly. The motel could do nothing because I was informed this was a third party site that did the booking. These people mirror the original site exactly and it appears as though you are booking with the actual hotel. NO refunds or changes can be made. this is a scam! disputing the charge on my credit card at this time1

An absolute scam of a company

They advertise under the guise of being the actual hotel you’re looking for

    Advertise a reduced rate

Then just as you click the submit button the hit you with a tonne of fees and taxes that now make you’re booking 150.00 more than you thought you were paying

They will not refund and have young women in goodness knows what country answering the phone regurgitating paragraphs from their manual

Stay clear this is a deceptive practise and a scam in sheep’s clothing

Zero stars - pretty sure this is a fraudulent booking service. We booked a hotel through this site only to find out that the hotel had no record of our booking.

Worst mistake of my life- I thought I was on the comfort inn website and booking my stay. 5 nights that cost almost $1500 and when I went to check in the hotel did not have my reservation. Called Guest Resv. and they said they would investigate blah blah blah. I demanded a refund and they are refusing. How are they even allowed to do this. Single mother, and now Iam out $1500 :(

ZERO STARS. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. On or around March 28, I believed I was booking directly through the official website of a well known hotel. dThe website’s design and layout made it appear to be the hotel’s official site. I was charged $579.65—well above the hotel’s actual rate—and after completing the transaction:

I did not receive any email confirmation.

I called the company, but no one ever answered.

I quickly became suspicious that I had been scammed and immediately canceled the reservation

Despite this, the company still charged me in full and now claims that only the actual hotel can authorize a refund. When I contacted Guest Reservations, I was transferred to a third-party call center and told again that it was “out of their hands.”

This practice—masquerading as an official booking site, charging inflated prices, and denying refunds—feels predatory and appears designed to exploit customers who may not realize they're dealing with a third party until it’s too late.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
