Total scam company, changes the amount charged after you agree to a price. They don’t allow any cancellation.

Although they will respond an say there fees are in the small print at the bottom of their page, I think hotels should look into the fees especially if the hotels will also charge us fees as well. I stayed at the Laquinta Inn in downtown NOLA and was charged an additional deposit that was given back however I paid almost $100 more for the room due to the additional fees guest reservation added. I was on the Wyndam Site and was redirected to guest reservation, made the reservation and five minutes later I could not cancel after seeing the fees b/c I would have been charged $208.00 to cancel within minutes. The time to cancel should be extended but its all a game and fraud at this point. Hotels should go back to booking their rooms themselves and leave these other websites only when they do not sell out!! SHAME on Guest reservation and their org, they will respond w/ the same explanation that have given everyone w/ the same review!! NEVER AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!!!

This is a total scam and " I blame the hotels" for accepting reservations from a company that clearly targets customers to steal from them. They must know that their images are being used by this company and, the customers intention is to book directly with the hotel. Yet, they accept the reservation and of course a discounted rate paid for securing the reservation.
If the hotels would refuse to accept these reservations, the credit card company would honor the customers demand to reverse the charge; since the charge is for a reservation that cannot completed. Moreover, the customer would book directly with the hotel or at least with a company that has integrity.

Absolute scam. Misleading business practices is to make you think you are on the hotel's website. $640 cancelation fee and they don't make you aware of that until you check you credit card. Please shut them down!

Guest Reservations just scammed me as well. They have a default setting to the current date. When I hit confirm for the reservation date of 10 days later, it confirmed the wrong date (default date) AND they added on additional charges not disclosed not even including resort fees ($107 additional charge from original quote) I called them withing 3 minutes of the booking and they said no refund or changes. Horrible company, beware. Will dispute with my bank.

I wouldn’t even give them one star! They are a total rip off! Their site is highly misleading and they use a time limit to hurry you to book. Stay away from them their fees are absolutely outrageous. I can book on other sites for had as much. They should be closed down!

My daughter thought she was booking directly with LaQuinta, Loudon Tennessee. When she arrived at LaQuinta, Loudon, they said that Guest Reservations had not remitted payment. LaQuinta was contacting Guest Reservations and my daughter called them at the same time. She was on the line with them as well. She provided LaQuinta her credit card but they refused to give her the room until they had verification from Guest Reservations. The amount for the room was pending on her credit card and she then saw that Guest Reservations had upped the charge by 40%. After over 30 minutes waiting for Guest Reservations to solve the matter Guest Reservations told her that it had gone to “billing” and hung up. She was in the lobby of the hotel for over an hour and was so upset with Guest reservations and the hotel and left and drove back to Kentucky that evening. She has been charged $1100 on her credit card and has filed a dispute of the charge. She is also seeking a legal assistance.
The only way to effectively put this company out of business is to write to the Department of Commerce and file a complaint.

Horrible business. I thought I was on the actual hotel’s website purchasing a night for a certain price. After completing the transaction I realized I had been charged $111 extra. I immediately called the company to cancel the transaction and they refused. They told me it was my fault for not reading every bit of fine print. This is a sleazy business that is set up to mimic hotels and scam people out of money.

In searching for a Hilton Hotels website I mistakenly ended up on a Guest Reservations' site which was disguised to look like the Hilton Hotel I was looking for. Long story short, I paid more for the room (in advance, non-refundable) through Guest Reservations than I would have paid by making my reservation with the hotel directly (and fully refundable if I needed to cancel).
