    Had to cancel due to flight delay. One customer service person told me that they could do a one time refund but had to check with the hotel partner. Left on hold for 20 min and disconnected. Reconnected and they pretended they could not hear me. Called again and left on hold for 25min while talking with the “hotel partner.”
    Then told me they would have to check in the morning. Left another email to contact customer service, took 3 calls to get connected and left on hold for over 40 min.
    Contacted “hotel partner,” aka the hotel. They told me they did not need to be contacted by the booking people to cancel or refund.
    Scammy and using wait times/long hold times in hopes you will give up.

    I booked a night for 108 and was shown that price as what I was agreeing to pay. Entered my card and bam, 168 was charged. I called and they informed that is their fee. I start arguing and they tell me that I just missed it since I was on my phone. It must have been in tiny print or on one of those boxes you check where you have to click a link and read the fine print. Very deceitful. They began by offering a 10 refund, then went up to 25 as I was upset. Still not happy and will never again use them very deceptive practices going on. I also believed I was booking with the hotel, not a third party website.

    Total scam!! Googled the hotel, thought I was booking through the hotels guest reservation system! The booking was too easy, pick the dates and provide credit card information. Then BAM! Receipt shows the two nights and a whopping $229 fee for their service. When I call to cancel and get a refund I am told the transaction is non refundable but they would provide a 10% discount.
    Buyer Beware!! Check and double check what site is being used to book your room. As for me I will be calling the hotel directly and booking through the front desk!!!

    THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THEY CHARGE HIGHER RATES AND PROVIDE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY NEED 5 NEGATIVE STARS.

    Somehow I clicked on what I guess was an ad while I thought I was booking direct with hotel website. Very deceiving. Then I get an email from guestreservations saying my stay is prepaid and completely guaranteed. When we arrive at hotel weeks later, they don't have our reservation and our completely sold out. Spent an hour on the phone with someone at guestreservations until they finally gave me two options. Have them book us another room nearby (yeah right!!!) or cancel the reservation and credit the $$ we paid. Opted for the credit, which will take 5-7 business days. We'll see if that ever happens. Feel like a fool, but they do an amazing job of fooling you into thinking you're booking direct. If you manage to sniff it out, I don't recommend booking through them. If I could give ZERO stars or lower, I would.

    What a scam! I was at a hotel website to book a room, then it was routed to Guest Reservations without my knowledge.
    I booked the room and as soon as the payment went thru, it had charged an additional amount of 94.14 for miscellaneous fees. This was never disclosed to me until after my payment was submitted & it came thru on the receipt.
    So unfair and fraudulent! I called and started a " case" the same day. I was offered $ 15.00 refund which I would not accept. I asked for a supervisor to return a call to me. I was assured she would call within 2 hours. Has not happened 36 hours later. Please
    Refund my money, it is a shame they can get away with this scam!

    Yikes! This company needs to be shut down! I am very upset about booking through this company (accidentally like many of the folks on this page). I, too, was deceived into thinking I was on the hotel’s website. I began to book the room, had entered the credit card information, but then it wanted a code that was required for visa. This is when I saw the price had increased $100! So I cancelled at that point and never entered the supposedly needed code for the visa charge. I was unaware that the charge still went through. Once I saw that it had, I panicked making many phone calls only to get put on a loop to nowhere. I figured the hotel would understand and help me out but they were limited in their ability to help due to second party booking. So the only option is a credit card dispute. I wish we could all put these warnings on the booking site! Please Better Business Bureau shut this business down!

    Misleading site made me think I was booking directly with a hotel in Canada. Turns out they tacked on $400 in fees that were not made clear. When I went to cancel the reservation, they charged me $800 in cancellation fees so I would only be refunded $300. Lost $800 for them to do nothing. I'm currently working with my Credit Card company to dispute these predatory charges.

    Guest Reservations is a scam. I can't understand why this "company" is not listed as such. I was duped by a web address masking as Hilton hotels, so I thought I was booking directly through Hilton. Then I received a confirmation email where the scam became evident because "Guest Reservations" was listed at the top; I was charged 75$ in fees that were not in the original booking charges; the confirmation claimed my reservation was non-refundable when I had chosen a refundable reservation.

    As a result I cancelled and am now having to negotiate with this dubious supposed company to get a refund.

    Please warn people about this supposed company.

    As with most of the other complaints that I have seen on this website, I
    We were duped by Guest Reservations. I made a Google Search for the Hampton Inn in Spokane, WA. The website is made to look like you were on Hampton Inn’s website. GuestReservations.com is a complete scam website and they will charge you at least 50% more for the room than you would pay if you book directly with the hotel. Once we realized that we’d made a terrible mistake and booked our room for an exorbitant price, it was too late to back out and only then are you made aware that what you’ve done is “nonrefundable”. You won’t have any luck speaking to a human being as we called the company’s many customer service numbers and it is a loop that never gets answered by an agent. This is unconscionable and clearly a deliberate bait and switch. I NEVER book with third parties and this is one of the reasons. Avoid this scam website at all costs and don’t get lured in by their “official” looking website, they are NOT affiliated with any hotels.
