    I recently purchased tickets from tickets-center.com. I was of the impression that I was on an official site, that is that I was directed from the venue for organizing body (Copa America) web site. I spent just over $800 for one ticket (their least expensive option) to see Argentina vs. Peru as a gift for a family member. Only after the receipt of my tickets did I realize that tickets-center.com was not who I thought they were. I received my tickets in the email from ticketmaster.com, which is an organization I was actually familiar with and I thought was equivalent. Ticketmaster and similar reputable sites such as StubHub actually are selling the same tickets for half the price compared to tickets-center and have much more favorable reviews. I could have been more cautious, scrupulous, yes, despite the advice that these tickets were "hot," as in "going fast," which I now doubt. I feel tricked and deceived and made a fool by this site. They simply marked the prices up enormously and presented as something they are not, that is a ticket exchange between consumers that will set a fair price for all parties, including reasonable profit for the host of the exchange platform.

The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Secondary market tickets. Prices may be above face value”

    Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Copa America - Argentina vs Peru, they were able to see the tickets available. Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $800.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $800.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

    At the time of this reply our records do not indicate any prior contact from our customer. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed.     We purchased tickets for a concert. We thought we were purchasing from ticket master, but ticket center came up and it looked similar. We thought we were purchasing directly from a ticket provider.

Once selected, they are taken to a page with an in-depth description of their ticket information, event details, ticket quantity, delivery method and any other notes related to the tickets. After confirming their selection, they were directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $213.79 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars.     I purchased tickets to a show at Bethel Woods. This site came up first in a goggle search. It is build to trick you into thinking you are buying directly from the venue. The website is extremely deceptive. It never stated they are a 3rd party seller. It never stated the terms for buying the tickets. The link to contact them after the sale did not work. I want a refund for this purchase but I know that will not happen as it appears they are allowed to operate in this deceptive manner.

    I purchased tickets to see Cake on 5/10. The email to accept them electronically came and i selected the correct option send it to Google wallet. The email stated I had accepted them but they never showed up in Google wallet. I wasn't able to get into the concert because I had no tickets to scan. I was forced to spend more money buying tickets on the spot. When I called customer service they told me I was out of luck because they show I had the tickets. It was the equivalent of making my pay for an empty package.
    That's not right. That's a scam.

    In this case, tickets for our customer's event were transferred electronically through a third-party platform to the email address associated with the order on 5/8/24. The customer contacted our customer service team regarding issues locating their ticket transfer, at which point our customer care team attempted to assist the customer in accessing their tickets. It should be noted that valid documentation was obtained that confirmed the correct tickets were transferred to the email address provided by the customer at the time of checkout, and as such, the ticket delivery was marked as completed.  

    Prior to receiving this claim our customer was provided a full refund back to their original payment method. As such we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns relating to their order, we welcome them to contact our customer service department.

    In order to complete their order, our customer was required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, "I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the order summary below. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars. Some venues may require proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. You are responsible for checking venue health and safety requirements for entry." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown was provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking "Place Order", your credit card will be charged $825.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.

    Our records indicate that the original ticket transfer took place on 4/26/24 at 12:13 PM CST and we detect no issues with the original transfer. Our customer contacted our customer support department on 5/7/24 and they were able to access their tickets after troubleshooting. Furthermore, our customer did not contact our customer service team again with any other concerns. 

    In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their credit card company regarding this order. We are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute process. We encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

    On December 20, 2023 I purchased ticket through the Tickets Center Website. The total cost was $962.50. I received emails from the company stating that I have purchased my tickets and can access them through the attached link. The link was not working and the page stated “The information you entered does not match our records. Please try again”. I also tried tracking my order status through another link they sent me. I input my order number and email address but it stated the same thing as the other link. I tried disputing this transaction through my bank on December 26, 2023 and again in April. The first dispute did not go through after investigation. The second dispute is ongoing and we’re supposed to call me on Monday, May 6th but I have not received any calls.

    Our customer placed their order on 12/20/23 for Wicked. Our customer filed a financial dispute, and it was ultimately resolved in our favor. Please note that per our terms, that our customer agreed to at the time of purchase, it states: “In the event that you dispute a charge and it is determined that the charge was valid and not the result of credit card or other payment fraud, we have the right to seek payment, including all associated fees, by whatever means necessary, including using collection agencies and legal proceedings. We may also mitigate our damages by relisting and selling, as the case may be, the tickets that are the subject of the underlying payment dispute.” 

    Please note that prior to this claim our customer had not contacted us to address their concerns. At this time, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has questions regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service team.

    I went to The Sphere web site to purchase tickets for Dead and Company. When I clicked to view/choose tickets I was taken to Tickets-Center.com site. I had no idea this was an independent vendor.

    When looking for tickets I chose section 106 to search. I was scown seats for section 106 row 23 for a price of $329 per tickets. I have a screen shot of their site, from the following day. The referenced tickets are still available but now there also is a line item, lined through, for the seats I was incorrectly provided section 406 row 11. I did not choose the seats.
    I’ve tried to cancel this transaction, speaking to customer support twice but they only say “sales are final, they cannot refund….” They say I need to resell the tickets if I want my money back, and I cannot use their site as they only accept tickets from certain companies with large volume of tickets. They further refused to forward me to a higher level of management saying they are unable to forward calls in their system.
    I would like to be refunded and they leave me no option to do so, hence my complaint to you.

    I paid 287.50 for 2 tickets to see Michelle Wolf at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle through Tickets Center. Not only do I not have tickets I am out the 287.50. THEY ARE A SCAM site that looks very legitimate.

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, Tickets-Center does not set or control ticket delivery dates. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation.  

    While Tickets-Center does not control the available delivery date we do ensure that valid tickets will arrive on time for the customer's event. In this case it should be noted that the customer's tickets were delivered immediately after their order was confirmed on 9/22/2023. At that time the customer receive an email which contains a link to claim their tickets, as well as instructions on how to access their ticket transfer. If a customer encounters any issues with accessing their tickets through their link, we always welcome them to contact our care team for troubleshooting. In this case our records do not reflect that the customer ever attempted to contact us to report any issues prior to this claim. If our customer requires assistance locating or accessing their tickets we encourage them to contact our customer service department. As it stands we consider this matter closed

    In additional to duping us into placing an order for tickets at $250 over face value, they sent the tickets for the WRONG section. This is a complete scam with hundreds if not thousands of complaints. I am unsure how this is able to continue, why will they will not be stopped. I have filed complaints here, with the state attorney general and also the FTC.

    I filed a dispute with PayPal but they are not supporting my complaint (which I expected based on all the other complaints on this company shown here on the BBB site.  The PayPal (my financial institution) claim is not active.

    We attempted to purchase tickets on 07JAN24 for a concert by Norman Brown at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. The concert is scheduled for 17APR24. We made the payment, which was charged to our credit card. Once we saw that the payment had been made, we no longer worried about the tickets.

    On 17APR24, I looked at the tickets and realized I could not locate them. My wife looked through my email and found instructions from tickets-center.com on how to finalize and retrieve the tickets. Our virus checker would not let us use the account. After checking the Visa account and verifying that the charge was indeed made, she told the virus checker to allow her to access the website anyway. When she did, Google Chrome, our web browser, refused to open the site, also saying it was fraudulent.
