2 starsMy husband was unable to turn on our furnace that Lion installed 4 years ago. He called Lion Home Services and the technician that came out told my husband he was using the wrong furnace filter and convinced my husband to spend $1000 on a set of three filters the tech recommended. The filter we were using was similar or the same as the one that was in the furnace when they installed the furnace. I am away from home and was unable to question the need for such an expensive filter. I believe the tech took advantage of my 77 year old husband.

Hello *****, per our notes from the technician, your husband opted to install an IAQ1000 air cleaning system to the system. This does provide numerous health benefits since it is a filtration system that takes particles out of the air while it transfers through the unit to be heated. 5 stars****** was very polite & professional. He showed me where the leak was under my sink & how he would fix it. He was able to give me a quote right then. He repaired the leak efficiently. ****** also zip tied the cords to tidy everything up under the sink. I am very happy with this service call. I will definitely ask for ****** when I have more plumbing issues. Lion Home Service was very helpful in getting me on their repair schedule. 5 starsThey day after we discovered our old furnace wouldn't turn on, Lion sent someone to diagnose the problem and give us options for replacement. The team came the next day to replace our furnace and air conditioner. Everyone was friendly and answered all of our questions. We are very satisfied with their work. We're happy to get this done before the weather turns to winter!Lion Home Service

1 starWe had a very frustrating experience with Lion Home Service and their project manager, *********************. After our AC went out, they came out promptly, but what followed was far from satisfactory. They delivered some shocking news, claiming that we had a refrigerant leak and needed a completely new unit, with a staggering quote of $28,000. Additionally, they insisted that our entire AC and heating system needed replacement.In a state of panic, we decided to get a second opinion because we werent convinced that everything needed to be replaced. ********************* had previously checked the capacitor but assured us that it wasnt the issue. He also partially fixed the problem by ensuring the outside fan was spinning, but no cool air was being produced, which he used to back up his claim of a refrigerant leak.However, the second opinion revealed that the refrigerant levels were within acceptable limits and that the real problem was a faulty capacitoran easy and inexpensive fix compared to the costly overhaul Lion Home Service had suggested.To make matters worse, when **** presented the quote, he paused to take a call and then returned with a long-winded story about how their team was working on pricing at the same time he was preparing our quoteon a Sunday morning! This explanation only added to our suspicion that their pricing might not be entirely reliable or transparent.Both my husband and myself are extremely frustrated with the misleading information, aggressive sales tactics, and overall lack of integrity from Lion Home Service. We felt pressured into making a decision that was far from necessary. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any services from this company. Their approach has left us feeling misled and exploited.Lion Home Service
