**** issued me a $97 parking violation notice (later reduced to $77) after my vehicle was parked at a *************, ****************** lot. This is a private invoice, not a government ticket. The notice claims the car exceeded a 2-hour free parking limit, but in fact the driver made two separate visits that day first for about 45 minutes, then returning 20 minutes later and parking for about ****************************************************************** one continuous stay.Despite multiple written disputes, **** has refused to provide evidence of a continuous stay, proof of posted terms/signage, or any legal authority to issue and enforce fines in *************. They continue to demand payment, shifting their argument to non-payment, even though no payment was due for either visit.I am the registered owner of the vehicle but was not the driver. **** has ignored this fact and continues to pursue me anyway. Their repeated demands without valid proof constitute harassment and deceptive business practices.Resolution Requested:I request that this notice be canceled and that **** cease all further attempts to collect payment from me.Customer Answer

Thank you for taking the time to discuss the parking garage issue with regards to ***************************************** I was visiting ***************** and used the parking garage across the street. When I arrived, the garage has you guess how long you will be there. I have NEVER seen that at any parking garage anywhere in this country! I took a guess and paid for the amount of time I thought I would need. Then it ran over, I obviously wasn't thinking about my parking time. When I came out, the time had expired. No worries, ALL parking garages I have ever used have a spot to pay for the time used. So I looked around and didn't see any option to increase my time by my vehicle. So I got in the vehicle and went to the exit, still assuming that I could pay upon exit. No information there either. There are no parking attendants, no information that is clear, no phone number to call. So I left and then received a fine for $55 for the overage. I emailed and told them there is no information on how to pay at exit, they insisted that they can't do anything. We exchanged a couple of emails (see below). I offered $10 which is more than the hourly rate, so I felt it was a fair offer. They again said they can't do anything. Now I have a demand/collection notice from your office for $55. Which as I explained earlier is completely predatory as anything $50 or less is not reported to the credit bureau, so they made it just high enough to damage your credit so you will pay. I have to tell you I am seriously contemplating having my attorney fight this as they need to be taken to task. This is completely unacceptable. Please note, it is not the money, obviously as if I am willing to pay an attorney, it's because this company needs to re evaluate their practices.Business Response

I received a Notice of Non-Compliance for allegedly parking without authorization in a lot marked Public Parking. The signage was misleading there was no clear indication that payment was required. The photo evidence provided is vague and does not show any violation or posted rules. When I called to dispute the notice, the representative was argumentative and insisted the lot was paid, despite the sign stating Public Parking. I explained I did not knowingly park in a paid facility and requested clearer documentation, which was refused. This company has a documented history of complaints involving misleading signage, vague evidence, and aggressive collection tactics, as reported by consumers and watchdogs. Their practices appear designed to pressure individuals into paying questionable fees without proper validation.Desired Resolution: Cancellation of the alleged violation Written confirmation of closure Assurance of no further contact or collection attempts Sincerely,****** ****** ******** ***Business Response

You are correct that it says public parking, but that doesn't mean free parking it just means the public can park there. You still have to pay for parking and there are signs on the lot that state that and give you the payment information. This is a valid and upheld notice and will remain upheld. We will honor the settlement you were already given but this is due.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:Number 1 I didnt park there like I stated initially.
Number 2 the picture provided in that notice is very blurry and suspicious and also you can see the car you claimed is mine was turned on and I NEVER parked there when all I did was go in the lot and came out. If you actually physically take a look at the lot your company has PUBLIC PARKING clear as day and nothing indicating PAID PARKING near it. This is unacceptable and youre scamming people!!

I was billed for a parking violation on August 30th, 2025. I paid 25 dollars to park in a lot for 2 hours. I went over my parking time by an hour. I tried calling the number listed on the lot to make a payment but the number constantly went to voicemail. A week later I received a notice stating that I owe 92 dollars for the time violation. I then dispute the charge but received no response. I then call the **** number and was informed that 92 dollars is the flat charge regardless of the time violation. The representative said they would reduce the charge by 20 dollars if i paid right now over the phone. That pinged a red flag. I felt like I was being scammed.Customer Answer

You only paid for 2 hours of parking and you were on the lot for 3 hours and 34 minutes. That mean there is 1 hour and 34 minutes not paid for. This fee is a flat rate that is assessed regardless of the amount of time you are over your paid parking session. This is a valid and upheld notice. We will honor the settlement you were already given.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
A flat fee of 92 dollars for an additional 25 dollars in parking is unreasonable and distasteful for business. To overcharge a consumer nearly 4 times the amount because its a flat fee should not be justified. The decision might be upheld, but its far from acceptable considering the number listed to call the lot isnt available and readily goes to voicemail. Thank you for your time. Ill be contacting the news and actively exposing this company through social media to ensure that no one else is affected.

I am a rideshare driver and on August 16, 2025 I drove through a parking garage in *******, ** to drop off a passenger. Since I did not park in the garage, I was not obliged to pay for parking. On August 24, 2025 I received a notice in the mail of non-compliance from a company named Parking Revenue Recovery Services, Inc. with a parking violation fee of $102.00. I reached out to the company directly to handle this matter, but they only responded saying they would discount the parking violation fee by $20.00, so they are expecting me to pay $82.00. This is extremely predatory. I am not able or willing to pay a parking fee, no matter how much they discount it, since I did not park in the garage.Business Response

on July 27th 2025 I paid $15.53 to park at a LAZ parking lot. Based on posted signage the rate was $15 for 2-4hrs. online they gave no option to park for 3 hours only 2 or 4 hours. I was parked there for 3 hours according to a camera that scanned my license plate. I paid for my ********************** based on the posted rates for the lot as there was also no special event parking rates or anything at the time. I was sent a letter in the mail over a month later saying that I did not pay for my parking at all. I submitted a dispute showing that I paid for parking based on the ADVERTISED and POSTED rates. yet all they would do was lower my $102 fine to $82 if paid within 10 days. Otherwise if the fine is not paid within 30 days of the notice they threaten to send the debt to a collections agency.Customer Answer

I disputed the ticket and ***** said too bad, pay it or we will send it to our attorneys so they can call you. I gave him my number and asked them to call. How can I fight a ticket from a state thousands of miles away? ***** was no help and didnt care what I had to say. I would honestly Venmos $20-30 for them to not bother me or to not even deal with it, even though its criminal that they would even send me something that I couldnt have even done.Customer Answer

We parked in the *************. I have a handicapped tag and there was no closer parking. Received a bill for $92 from **** for expired permit/facility registration . Received a letter dated 08/31/2025 for vehicle with license plate ******* in reference to ********************** downtown ******* in a lot addressed ******************. It states that I have a fine/violation for this lot. I am an executive and elected official, I have free parking space in several lots in the downtown ******* area. I was not in this lot nor do I have a need to park here. This is a complete error and I would like my name and vehicle information removed from their system and to never be contacted again. Further, I would like the Better Business Bureau to investigate the inordinate number of complaints against this firm and forward matters as I will to the **************************.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:- Footage of ingress and egress is not proof of a vehicle being parked nor is ir proof of non payment.
- The amount being charged is an inflated rate according to prices listed for this lots service
I am willing to pay only those costs regularly associated with the lot. Which in my opinion is an act of good will to stop the harassment. I will need an online method of payment. I will not call in nor give my private information. If this is not acceptable, I will file a case for harassment.

They said I stayed in a parking lot and additional 22 minutes so now they want me to pay $80 penalty. That is ridiculous. Parking for 4 hours was $20.Business Response

Unfortunately, you didn't pay for the full time on the lot. This is a flat rate fee that is assessed for this violation regardless of the amount of time you are over your paid parking session. This is valid and will remain upheld. We will honor the settlement amount already given.
