CSAA is a ripoff and big run around. Been 45 days, no answers to claim and got a letter stating to te effect that it could be a year. Their insured hit my car and owned up to it, witnesses and their insured owned up to it to the police. Litigation here I come and complaint/grievance to the State Insurance Coorporation.

Filed a claim after a not at fault accident where the opposing vehicle struck us from the passenger side when they were double parked and we tried to go around. The opposing party slammed the gas to turn left and ran into us. We tried to exchange information but the opposing party was unwilling. Cops were called and eventually they showed up to have us exchange information and it turns out the opposing party that was driving did not have a driver's license nor was she insured under that vehicle. Her husband was the insured party.Called AAA and they told us that we need to contact the opposing party's insurance company since we only have liability insurance with AAA. We called their insurance company and after a month of back and forth, they decided that because the driver was not insured, they were not willing to pay out for the claim. I went back to call AAA and they were not willing to pay out anything since the other party was uninsured, they blatantly refused to contact the other party's insurance company. AAA did not offer anything until I looked through the policy and had to FIGHT them tooth and nail for $3,000 under our uninsured motorist coverage. At this point, AAA at no point suggested that the car would be TOTALED and marked SALVAGED. So not only do we get the vehicle marked as salvaged devaluing the car by 50%+, but they also kept refusing to even contact the other party. This is absolutely ridiculous and after speaking to many friends and family members, they have never had an issue like this. AAA should be ashamed of themselves for pulling a stunt like this.

Filed a claim when a tweaker hit my iron fence. Cost us $3,600 to put up. The lady left me her insurance card and info, I had the driver's license number from the driver, and she even left her physical license plate behind. Anyhow, after contacting claims, and not getting a response back, I was told by an incompetent claims rep, that since she could not make contact with the insured, my claim would be denied. Lol what a joke. Do they really think anyone whose GUILTY is just going to casually answer and CONFESS their fault in the property damage claim? This is how these companies fare so well; by blatantly defrauding victims of these types of damages. Now I know, I can slam into someone's house, give them my info, and simply not answer the phone call from the insurance company. The insurance laws in CA desperately need changing!

Horrible car insurance. Doesn't cover anything unless you know the ins and outs of how to work the insurance lingo. They are definitely not out to help but just to get your money. The most unfriendly insurance reps I have ever experienced. They even closed a claim with me at fault without ever even having ******* talk to me!

I have never received such horrific customer service. Absolutely NO customer service. I had a accident, rear ended and its been 16 days and still no response from claim adjuster regarding my vehicle. i have called everyday and left messages and also email daily and zero response. No matter what number I call I can not reach a human being It took me a week to final get someone to activate and assign me a medical claim # due to injuries. This company should not be in business and if need be I will seek legal support.

I was looking for new home insurance and the Experian app had me fill out my information in which I did so and made my first payment and what have you. Well the inspector came to my house and on his report he stated that I had a **** dog in which I do not so needless to say they cancelled my insurance. I tried many, many times to call them and totally got the run around. I was put on hold for over 45 minutes and then they came on there and stated I was transferred to the wrong place. So they sent a email to me today and I emailed them back stated I should not have been cancelled in the first place and told them what had happened and dont you know they emailed back and stated they couldnt find a policy for me. I emailed back and stated that I already had one in place. I would not recommend this insurance company which is CSAA through Experian. Horrible customer service and horrible service period. ************

We have been homeowners for 46 years, and this is the first time we filed a claim. A sewer line burst, and flooded our basement, causing a lot of damage. CSAA only covered a small part of the claim, leaving us to pay over $9,000, and that's NOT including the $2500 deductible. We are in our 70's, living on Social Security, and this is a real hardship for us! Their car insurance is better, but the homeowners department leaves a lot to be desired! I will definitely be shopping for a different insurance company going forward.

We had a tree fall on our house three months ago , CSAA is pretty much refusing to cooperate to the point that the tarp on our roof leaked so badly we have further damage. Their adjuster is pretty much non existent.

I've been waiting almost 2 years for payment. I signed over my car title after I was promised payment once my car was picked up. The settlement agreement claimed that I would receive $945 for my car. The adjuster for my claim ************** has ignored every single one of my communication attempts . We had an agreement!!

Unfortunately the hot water heater in our home has gone bad and caused minor damage within our home. We contacted AAA and they did respond, but not in a timely manner. As we know with water, the longer it sits within a home, the worser the damage. They send out a company the next day to help clean up the damage. By the time that company showed up, it was little to late. They did resend the same company to dry out the water and remove the damage part of our home. CSAA sent out companies to detect leaks, remove old water heater, install temporary water heater and remove damage part of our home. That was 3 weeks ago and we have concrete and studs showing within our home. We find out today that our current claim representative is leaving and we do not have any updated information. This has caused a major inconvenience for us. We are attempting to refinance our home and cannot schedule a appraisal until we have this completed. We will not be renewing our home insurance policy with CSAA for this reason of inconvenience.
