    I received a letter from the California state controller office on 8/18/2025 alerting me that I had an unclaimed check for over $100.00 being held by ILYM group as a result of a class action lawsuit against a former employer of mine (Sunshine retirement). The letter gave me a contact name (********* ******) along with a phone number and email to use. I have tried multiple emails and phone calls, none of which have been returned, and I'm worried I'll keep getting ignored until the deadline to collect my check passes.

    The company that I worked for ended up getting sued, and I am entitled to money, which I was made aware of by receiving a letter from the ************************************. I never received the initial check so I called ILYM group to have it reissued to another address on September 4 and they stated it was distributed that day five weeks later I have not received that check and I requested a re-issue for the third time to the second address. I have called and nobody picks up the phone and I am starting to think that they are avoiding me. I have left messages for my contact and I have sent an email stating if I cannot receive proof of distribution of the check or tracking to prove that it is actually in route to my provided address. I would contact the ******************************** and the ***************************** office which I have because this behavior is suspicious and I have grown tired of their games but I have not received a reply and nobody will return my calls. This behavior is very suspicious and needs to be investigated. I am still without my funds and no proof of my check being distributed has been provided to me. I am demanding I receive my legally entitled funds from them.

    I have not "just" been calling *********, I have actually dialed everybody's number funny enough to get someone to answer the phone and dialed "0" to be connected to anyone. I've called 15 times today so I would not like to hear you justify it by stating I was not being connected with anyone because I was using the dial by name feature. The fact that no one replied to my email and once I used the BBB all of a sudden I got a quick reply is ridiculous. I should not have gone through that length. Like I said in my complaint on the BBB. You state my check should arrive within 3-5 business days and I hope it's the ******** Address, but I mean this with all due respect I do not believe you. I have been told my check will arrive 3 separate times. I stated I need proof and tracking. Your statement of "3-5" days will not suffice. I really do not want to submit my claim to the ************************** and the **********************************;Office but you are leaving me no choice because unfortunately I don't think I am being taken seriously. This matter will be resolved once I receive my check I have been waiting for. I will escalate this to the *************** If I do not receive this check at the end of the week.

    You called in a total of 11 times yesterday, 3 of the times you did not connect to any other person or department before hanging up, 2 times went to *********, 3 times went to other people in our call system that have phone lines but don't use them due to the nature of their jobs, and 3 times pressed 0 to get to customer service. 2 of those 3 times, you hung up before anyone answered, and one of the times we had too many callers on the line to be able to get your call and it went to voicemail, which you did not leave a voicemail for us to return your call. I contacted you back right away when you submitted this complaint, so when given the opportunity to help you, we've responded right away and let you know that your request was fulfilled. The address the check was sent to was ************************************************************************. The check was mailed out on 10/03/25, after you spoke with ***** on the phone on 10/1/25. You have spoken to our **** several times and we're doing everything we can to help get you your check. If the check has not arrived by this Thursday, 10/9/25, please email me at ******************************** and I will send the check again via **** priority mail with a tracking number. It was mailed out last week and should be arriving shortly, though.

    The company I work for was sued and I am entitled to a class action lawsuit check. I received a letter from the state saying I have funds from this company.I work for ************************ in *******, **. The class action settlement company is ***** Address is ******************************* ************************. Phone number is ************ ************ is withholding funds I am entitled to. I have followed the companys instructions online to request my check re issue. This was on August *******. They said it would take two weeks for them to to process and mail my check. It is now October and I have not heard from them. I have emailed them twice and have not heard back. I have called them and I am unable to get through to somebody.

I looked into our phone logs to see why we hadn't answered your calls, but only saw the one call where you left a voicemail today, there were two other times where you called in, but you just listened to our reiussue check message and then hung up, so we didn't get a chance to try to assist you then. I will remove your callback from our queue today since we are handling it this way.

    I will mail your check out to the address provided today. It's the same address we already had so I'm not sure why you didn't get the check previously, but it should arrive in 3-5 business days.

    Im involved in a class action lawsuit and ILYM Group Inc. are apart of the Settlement Administation. Ive called multiple times and left a message on their website to get updates on the lawsuit and have received no response. Each time I call Im on hold until the phone hangs up. So many other reviews complain about the same issues and Im concerned this business is a scam.

I checked to see why we weren't able to answer your calls, but I see that you called in to our line that is specifically for The **** ******* lawsuit and that just plays a message and hangs up, it's a non-monitored line. If you call us at ************ and press 0, our system will transfer you to one of our customer service **** who will be happy to help! You can also email me directly at ******************************** and I'm usually quick to respond to requests. 

    The case received final approval on 9/11/25, and we are estimated to disburse checks to all class members on 11/03/2025. I say estimated because if there are any delays in funding, it could delay the date but more than likely checks will go out on time on 11/3/25.

    These people are terrible!!! They do not answer phone calls or return calls. They mailed my Legoland settlement check to my old address and by the time I got it, it expired. I went online and changed my address. They promised to reissue it months ago. And did NOTHING! They are holding money that is legally mine! A law firm said that I should drop in on the company. I took today off work to go there only to find they are in a secured building and you need card to get in. Of course I call from the door and NO RESPONSE!!! Its almost like I need to sue them to collect on a lawsuit they administered. I simply need my money after a year.

    Thank you for contacting us. I do see that you called into us on April 1, 2025 and submitted a change of address request online through our website around that same time. We did update your address in our system but then that cleared out the request for the callback from our system as well. Unfortunately, after August 8/27/2024, all outstanding checks were voided and the balance of all of the uncashed checks was donated to the California Boys & Girls Clubs, a charity that was chosen by the attorneys on the case. Any re-issue requests received after that would not be able to be granted, unfortunately, as all of the money is gone and that bank account is closed. We had previously sent your check to *******************************************************, as that was the address that we were provided with from Legoland.

    I submitted a request on September 2023 for my check to be re-issued as it was stolen and cashed. I submitted all of the paperwork on time and was told that it would take at most a year for the process to be complete. It is now September ************************************************ the past I have left countless voicemails and online requests about getting an update on the status and never got a call back. Every time I would talk to a representative, I would get the same responses, that they were waiting to hear back from the case manager and would call back the same day and never did. I finally got someone to confirm they would be sending the check and I would be receiving latest last week and I never got it. Today I called for an update again and was told the same exact thing that they would ask and call back. I never got a call back. I am tired of the same thing over and over. I work and have to be constantly taking time off my day to be on hold waiting for someone to answer, to end up hearing the same thing.

Unfortunately, once we submit the information to the bank it is out of our hands and the bank can take quite a while to finalize their investigation. In our system, there are notes from 9/11/25 that indicate that your re-issue was finally approved and that it was set to go out on 9/12/2025. The check would have been mailed via standard **** mail, and was sent to **********************************************

    Can you please send me an email to confirm if that was the correct email, and whether or not you have received the check yet? If you have not received it, I will remail it to whichever address you advise and we will mail it our via **** priority mail with a tracking number so we can make sure it gets where its supposed to go.

    I have not received the check. The stated address is the correct one it should have been mailed to. If I allow the query to be closed, nothing will be done to resend my check to me. As mentioned, usually when I call there is never any resolution. I am usually told that I will get a call back and I never hear back. Either that, or I am told they have to check with the case manager. 2 years already went by and I still dont have my check.

    There was a recent case in my county ***** ******** vs ********* and all my coworkers received settlement checks from it. I never received mine because i recently moved. I attempted to contact the settlement administrator ILYM group and submitted a check re issue request and a contact request. I even emailed the request email. I never got contacted back its been almost a month since attempting to contact with no response.

    I received a letter in the mail stating that I was apart of the ******* President vs. ********* case. Requesting a signature for my share, $817.05 and I signed and returned the document. I received an email stating that my submission had been accepted. Now, 4 months have passed, which is around the time that the payments should arrive.Calls are not being answered.Emails are not being answered.I am just trying to ask about the document I signed. Am I still receiving a payment?They have just gone, **** I know that they sent me, that letter as a form of help, But offering someone money as help that person is now adding into their budget Then, the money gets taken away. Thats messed up.

    I've called several times regarding a check reissue after receiving a postcard my check had not been cashed for a class action suit (******* vs VSP). I called on 9/4 to have the check reissued. This morning, they stated the check reissue was submitted on 9/4, but could not confirm if the check has been mailed. I did not receive the check initially, and explained I would need a check reissue sooner that 2-3 weeks due to urgent issues. Also, I sent an email on 9/9 and have not received a response. I asked if there was a way to expedite the request or an alternative option to receive the payment more quickly. I would just like a sooner solution than 2-3 weeks, since its already been two months.

    I am owed a settlement payment from my employer, ********, that was being administered through ILYM Group. The check was originally sent to my old address, so I never received it.On July 23, 2025, I submitted a check re-issue request with ILYM Group to have the check sent to my current address. Since then, I have called their office twice to follow up, but I have not received any updated information or a replacement check.Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this directly with ILYM Group, I still have not received the funds I am owed from the settlement.Desired Resolution:I am requesting that ILYM Group promptly re-issue and send my settlement check to my current address as soon as possible.

    Hello Graeme, thank you for letting us know that had not received your settlement check yet. Although the remaining funds from the uncashed checks on this case had already been sent to a charity, we were able to get an exception to reissue your check. That was mailed out to you on 9/10/25 via **** priority mail with tracking # ********************** and I checked and was able to see that the check was cashed on 10/7/2025.
