Poor experience, I was part of a class action settlement where I am supposed to receive a 2200$ check. I confirmed with other colleagues they have received their checks. The settlement occurred end of may and we are going on 4 months that I have yet to receive anything. I have attempted to call them multiple times and it states everyone is busy and the call hangs up. I attempted to use their self service form online via the check reissue method and the contact me and neither have resulted in any response or action and its been a little over a month since I submitted those forms. I have tried calling this company for a check re-issue and have left my contact information numerous times. I havent had my check re-issued and no one has contacted me back with all the messages Ive left. This is ridiculous that no one can contact you in 2months time!Business Response

We do have noted in our system that you left voicemails for a check re-issue on August 16th and again on August 22nd, and your check was processed for re-issue on 8/22/24. The re-issue process can take up to 2 weeks to complete, so I'll skip that step and print out and put your check in the mail today. I double checked and the address we have on file for you is the same that your provided in this complaint, and we did send your check out along with the rest of the thousands of other class member's checks on this case, so I'm not sure why you never received it the first time!

This company is withholding a check thats over $700 thats much needed in hard times. They have said theyve reissued my check twice but thats a lie. Looking at their reviews it appears that this is common practice for them. All I want it my check that is rightfully mine sent to me or set up so I can simply pick it up . There is no reason for us to hold your check, we can't keep any funds from uncashed checks - every check that is not cashed is donated to a charity on behalf of the employer that was sued, or sent to the California ************************* for collection at any time, and in no case would we ever hold your money back. We have tried to get your check out to you, and when you called on Friday and spoke with *****, she said she was going to let you know today if you could come pick up your check to expedite the process of you receiving your payment. We have been trying to get you the check.

I am a class member of a lawsuit from my old employer. I received the initial letter stating I would get sent the check to the address listed in the letter, which was correct. I left it alone and waited and waited and waited. I called a few days ago and was told they mailed out the check back in DECEMBER 2023, to my childhood address in a completely different state. I have called over 50 times. No one answers. The one time someone did pick up, I was told over the phone that they werent sure if the funds were still available to reissue because its been too long. I have used the check reissue feature on the website multiple times. So youre telling me that you sent the check to an OLD ADDRESS that I havent used in over 7 years, even though you managed to get my current DIFFERENT STATE address correct for the letter notifying me that I was entitled to the money? This seriously sounds like some type of fraud in order for you guys to collect the funds for yourself. Its crazy because a few other class members of the lawsuit have also not received their funds due to the same predicament Im in. Hello ******,
I see that you spoke with ***** last Friday and she re-issued your check for you to the address you provided her. That check was added to a batch of checks and printed and mailed out yesterday, so it will be arriving in the next few days! It's coming from our office in *******************, and will be there shortly.
As for your address, we had your address in the system as ******************************************************************************** and we re-mailed a copy of your check out to that address in May. **** returned that check to us as undeliverable, so we did an address search through a mailing database we use and that address was provided as the next most likely address for you, to which we mailed the check out again to that address in ********* in June.
If for some reason the check is not there by Tuesday next week, please email me directly at ******************************** and let me know, and we will re-issue your check again with tracking.

This company was supposed to be sending me a check for a class action lawsuit against a contractor company I worked for. I waited an entire month for the "first" round of checks and got nothing. I reached out to them via email and tried to call multiple times and finally was able to request a check reissuance. They confirmed that checks were going out that week and that they had my current address. It has been over month yet again and I still have gotten nothing. I was issued a settlement check to the wrong adress back in December of 2023, by the time I was made aware of the check it was no longer valid to deposit. I have been trying to get in contact via phone, email and through their check re-issuing tab on their website since. NO ONE answers or returns phone calls OR emails. Is this even a legit business? Completely unacceptable. I would like my check reissued to the correct address as I dont even live in the state of ********** anymore. Very unprofessional in my option. I am writing to lodge a complaint against ILYM Group, a financial firm that has been unresponsive regarding a significant issue with my payments. I work for In-*************** Services (IHSS) and receive my checks from the ************************* Some time ago, a portion of my check was deducted and sent to ILYM Group, but I have not received these funds back, and I urgently need them.Despite numerous attempts to reach ILYM Group through phone calls and emails, I have received no response. My calls go unanswered, and my emails are met with silence. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Additionally, my research online shows that many others have reported similar issues with ILYM Groups unresponsiveness and failure to return funds.The withheld funds are crucial to me, and the delay in returning them has caused significant financial strain. I have tried every possible method to resolve this issue directly with ILYM Group, but their consistent lack of response has left me no choice but to seek external assistance.I request that the Better Business Bureau intervene to facilitate the return of my funds. We did send your check out to you when this lawsuit originally settled, but we were provided an old address from Commerce Distribution, but we had no way of knowing if the address was correct or not. I can re-issue your check out to you today, but just need your complete address. The *** code you provided does not match what we have in our system. We don't want to keep anybody's checks. We reported the un-cashed funds to the ************************* in a last attempt to reach all of the class members who have not yet gotten their money, in order to get an updated address so that you can get the funds owed.

Hello ****,
This case had a value per work week of $22.8834, and amount per PAGA pay period of $2.80. Since you had 100 work weeks, that would be 100 x $22.88.34 = $2,288.34 plus the additional $2.80 for the 1 PAGA pay period gives the total settlement amount of $2,291.14. From there, we were required to split that settlement up as 80% penalties and 20% wages, which were $1,833.47 and $457.67, respectively. Then, taxes were taken out from the 20% wage portion based on ***************** employment tax rates, and that resulted in the net check amount you received of $2,120.20.
I did check our phone system to see why we weren't able to receive your calls, but couldn't find any record of you calling in with the number provided in this complaint so unfortunately I don't know why you weren't able to reach us! The total settlement was $925,000, then there were $381,335.13 in attorney fees and costs, service award to the plaintiff who brought on the case, fees to the state and the $10,000 PAGA portion of the settlement.The work week amount was determined from the net settlement amount to be distributed to all class members, which was $543,664.87 after the deductions, and dividing that by the total number of work weeks for all class members combined, which was ******.When you divide that out, that's where the $22.8834 per work week is derived.
