      Yahoo mail has been for years getting breached with personal information in which my info was included in those breaches. When trying to log into account submit an acct closure ********************** claims to be sending an email to the address on file however it never does but then offers paid support to those needing assistance but no other options. Im needing to get into my acct to retrieve my email and forward them to close the acct.

      I'm locked out of my email account. Even though I know my password and enter it correctly, Yahoo requires authentication through another means. The only option is to verify through ANOTHER email that I no longer have access to. Since I cannot access this, I am locked out permanently unless I pay Yahoo for help. It is really messed up

      I am rejecting this response because:  I should not have to pay for support in order to unlock my account that I have the password to! Please update my authentication email to ********************* or my phone number ************. I should not have to pay for support. The help questions get me nowhere, because once again, I don't have access to my university email to authenticate my account through that means.

      Yahoo mail locked me out of my account. All attempts at password recovery caused a message about no more options being available on file for my account. The only other option is to use their premium support, which costs money. I have never had to pay to recover an email account before. This seems very sketchy

      On November 17th at 5:00pm I attempted to log in to my email account through Yahoo.com. I was unable to log in without verifying with a code via phone number AND backup email address. I provided the appropriate for both but was locked out of my account. The only solution provided by Yahoo is to PAY for customer service help. I am now locked out of my account completely with no reasonable way to attempt a log in, where I need to access to paid product (tickets), verification codes, and the like. Yahoo has knowingly locked me out of my account in a ruse to collect money from me.

      Better Business Bureau:

      After I submitted my complaint to BBB, I was able to miraculously log into my Yahoo email myself using my recovery info . I was contacted by a Yahoo rep later that day and I informed them I was able to recover my email account. I find it curious that I spent hours the day before trying to unsuccessfully recover my yahoo email but as soon as I filed my complaint with BBB and they contacted Yahoo for me, I was able to recover my email account.

      Thank you BBB!!

      So basically around july , my yahoo account was hacked and i no longer have access to the recovery mails as well since those passwords were changed as well. Yahoo only gives me this option on its site to recover using that when thats not available. Then it says to read our forums or get premium support. I tool premium support and called the support where a lady said that just because i was from ******* she couldnt help me. Does this mean my 13 years old yahoo account is gone ? My all ids fb bnking everything was linked to it. Why does a billion dollar company yahoo do this just because i am from ******** ! I paid for the premium support as well ! ! !

      I had downloaded LastPass authenticator and used it as a two factor identification connected to my Yahoo email account. I learned earlier this year that LastPass was subject to a data breach, therefore I immediately deleted it. I should have changed my Yahoo email password prior but did not. So, I attempted to change my Yahoo email password but was advised I needed to authenticate my account and could not by-pass the sign in on the email account. I called the ************* to try to access my yahoo account and reset it I could by pass the authenticator requirement and reset password. I spoke with the customer service representative who sent links via text that had me photograph the front and back of my driver's license and also take a facial photograph of my face. The customer service representative said they could not verify my account me or my account, therefore not help me. Now I'm concerned about identity theft and where my digital information and photographs are located or if they've been deleted. I was able to get into Yahoo email and change the password and method of authentication. I want to make sure my identity wasn't compromised by sending driver's license information and a photo of my face to this online entity.

      Yahoo will not even give me the option to login to my account via password. Or even reset the password without me verifying through an inactive phone number. They want 12 dollars to fix it. 12 dollars and some change to allow me to LOGIN to an account ive had for over 10 YEARS!!! Absolutely ridiculous. My email they wont allow me access to anymore, (which is affecting my livelyhood and work) is **************************************** ......these people need to be held accounted for.

      Today (11/16/2023) I was not able to login to my yahoo email. I tried well over 10x to get a verification code sent to my recovery email, and not one was sent. I checked my SPAM folder, and ALL other folders. I tried customer service, and they has me scan in my photo ID. That still didnt help. Also my old phone number is no longer in service or in my possesion so that 2 step factor was useless. I have multiple accounts associated and linked to that email I can no longer get access to. What am I supposed to do? I am beyond disappointed and frantic that I can no longer access any of my accounts connected to that email address, since all those other accounts are connected with that email for 2 step verification too. Customer service told me to buy premium, but even if I did, they still wouldnt be able to help becasue my old number is no longer with me and I never gave any other information. I tried the Yahoo Sign In Help as well..that was unsuccessful because it would NOT WORK! It kept saying try again later over and over. This makes peoples lives who are depending on this technilogical world miserable..they lose money, lose bank info, personal email, and istead gain weeks and weeks worth of headahe and lost money because YAHOO is broken! And they may very well lose more than that!

      Yahoo has locked me out of my email account without an explanation and now wants money for me to be able to log back in. I've tried dealing with their customer service, but they redirect me to a premium customer service that also charges for its use. This seems like a money grabbing scam. The account recovery tool prompts you to enter your recovery email/phone number, sends you codes, and then despite entering the right codes it redirects you to their 'premium customer service' where you have to pay to get access to your account. I want access to my account reinstated.
