However, he pressured me multiple times to apply for a loan to pay for permits to begin the project, despite my clear indication that I wasn't ready to start. I only wanted a quote. Although I have debt and recently purchased the property, I agreed to check if I qualified for a loan. I made it clear that I wouldn't start the project and needed to discuss it with my husband before making any decisions. I advised the contractor not to withdraw any funds until I gave him the go-ahead.A few days later, we canceled the project and requested that Next Gen not withdraw the funds of $12,600, but they had already done it on 8/23/23. The representative, ******, refused to cancel the project and return the funds. I reached out to MOSAIC the Lender -Loan # ******: to inquire about the possibility of returning the funds that were withdrawn, as the project that the loan was meant for has been canceled. They confirmed that the funds can indeed be returned. All that Next Generation Builders need to do is send the funds, which will then be credited to my loan account.Despite numerous emails promising a refund and project cancellation from Next Generation Builders, headed by *********************, no action has been taken yet. ****** confirmed that they still hold my outstanding loan of $12,600, as the funds have not been returned by NG Builders.Next Generation Builders failed to return the money to the bank or me and never started the project. We did not even see a design.I need your help getting a refund of $12,600 plus interest from Next Generation Builders. They withdrew funds without my consent.
