I live on the soboba Indian reservation and in the last 3 to 4 months CR&R hast been doing dumpster pickup. I have called numerous times to see when my pick up day was and it had stayed the same, supposed to be every Tuesday. I have been paying for a service that I have not been receiving. I found out today I have to call everyday after Tuesday that my trash does not get picked up if I would like my dumpster to be serviced. I spoke to a **** from the service department and asked to file a formal complaint because as he explained there is nothing he can do for me but put in the notes that my dumpster hasnt been serviced. And according to **** my other calls have not been recorded that there has been any other issues. All I want is a resolution to my dumpster not being picked up. I have asked for a refund since there has been many times they have not serviced my dumpster, and it is only an argument that I have to wait a full week before issuing a refund and then I have to be able to prove it. Proving that my dumpster hasnt been serviced is no problem for me as I have ring cameras on the dumpster At some point I have to believe this become a sanitary issue as I have wildlife that can get into my trash if my dumpster lids arent able to close because no one came to pick up my trash.Business Response

This trash service consistently misses pick up days. Ive been living in the community for 6 months and theyve not shown up 25% of the time. When you try to call, no one picks up. The whole community has trash bins out all week because these guys just dont show up.Initial Complaint

My family just moved and the 1st call I had to set up services was great. They told me they offer 4 times a year to pick up bulky items. I called 11/1 and was on hold a total of 2.5 hours trying to schedule the bulky item pickup. I scheduled for 11/3 and the person told me that since we just started services that we got their "move in special" and could have them also pick up bundles or cardboard and bags of packing material. I scheduled the 4 bulky items, 4 bags of packing material and 6 bundles of cardboard. 11/3 came and they did not pick up the 4 bulky items and left 1 bundle of cardboard. I called 11/4 and let them know they had left the items. They said that there was no order for the bulky items but she could schedule them for the following Thursday and when I said that was unacceptable because I wasn't going to leave them on the curb for a week or bring them back into my cleaned out garage, she hung up on me. I called back to find out she scheduled it for the Thursday and lied because this new person said she saw the order on my account. The soonest pickup for all items was 11/7...that came and went and no pickup. Called again 11/8, they said they were short staffed so didn't pick up. Rescheduled for Nov 9th...they finally pick up the bulky items that were now wet from rain. However, bundle of cardboard, also now wet, was left. Called again 11/11, said they would come that day...they didn't. Called again 11/15, said they would come that day, called again that day at 4pm, said they had until 6pm, they never came. Called again today and spoke to a supervisor who not once apologized and said, it will be picked up today. I said what if you guys don't pick it up today...he said "call again tomorrow". Are you serious? I have never in my life dealt with a company that has such horrible service, they clearly do not care about their customers or jobs. I got the bill in the mail today and just laughed...my bundle is still hanging out on the curb.Business Response

CR&R is investigating the reason for the delay in service for this customer's request. There were several attempts made to remove the items, but the results from the drivers came back inconclusive. It is possible that the driver had issues locating the property since it is a new home build, and the maps were not yet updated. After this complaint was submitted, a driver returned and was able to complete the requested order. CR&R apologizes for the delay and appreciates the patience and understanding of this new customer.

This response is ridiculous. Yes, the day after I made this complaint, they FINALLY picked up the bundle of boxes when they came to pick up the regular bins. Them sayingnthat the driver couldn't find the address doesn't make sense because the drivers were able to find our house the week before and the week before that and they were there to pick up the other bundles of boxes and bags of packing materials and just left that one. Also, if a driver can't find a house, you would think they would say something. This was scheduled 5 or 6 times and not once did anyone say anything about not being able to find the house. I also don't accept this apology when I spoke to a manager the last time I called and not once did he even try to apologize. This company really needs to step it upBusiness Response

I scheduled buk pick on 11/10/22 between 6am and 6pm, however no one came to pickup the items. Next day I called and I was advised that it got rescheduled to 11/12/22 between 6am to 6pm. Again, I rolled out my bulky items and items were not picked up. I would like to know why this keeps happening.Business Response

I have previously filed a complaint in reference to the same situation. The complaint begins with the refuse pick up truck leaks oil and liquid refuse. I have made several calls each time I have to make several attempts to have someone respond to clean up the spills. In the previous complaint response the company said that they sent a cleaning crew within 24 hours which is not accurate. On 10/25/2022 my mother called to request that a cleaning crew be dispatched to clean another spill and was told that one would be here in 24 hours and again it did not happen. I attempted to call today 10/31/2022, I was on hold for more than 30 minutes several time and I was told that individuals in upper management were on lines and could not take the call and that I would have to wait. This is an ongoing issue and the company does not seem to care about their customer's concerns.Initial Complaint

CR&R has been unresponsive to complaints and continues to not pick up some of my trash bins. I have called many times and they say it will get addressed, but it never does. We have our property scheduled be picked up three times a week and last week one of the recycle bins was never picked up.Business Response

For over a month I keep calling to get my trashed picked up. Every time I call all the say is sorry we will pick up the next day and cannot provide an explanation on why they are not coming they day they are supposed to. My pick up day is every Friday I take out my trash at 5:00 am before going to work and it still does not get picked up. I see other houses on my block do get there trash picked up on Friday but my house gets skipped and I have not missed a payment. ****** is having a problem with CR&R's very poor service? The schedule you a day of the week to pick up your trash and they may just pick it up once a month. They are quick to charge, take your money but they're service is very poor. I'm willing to pick up a trash bag from every paying resident in my town and dumping it off in front of their gates to prove a point. I don't care if I get arrested for littering. Effem... Enough is enough when We've tried over and over to do the right thing. Most will say just change companies but there's a thing called integrity! They as they please.Business Response

Their problem is not only in ****** they are attempting to cover the sun with a finger. I posted my problem on ******** and it turns out it's Valley wide from *********, ******, *********, Heber, Westmoreland, Paloverde and wherever their service extends. They are inconsistent, unreliable, liars, rude and they'll take your money quick but their service is very poor. When we hired them our deal was 1 day a week for $50 a month and they will only show up once or twice a week so how or when do I get reimbursed for the days they don't show up.

Over the past few months CR&R has missed our trash pickup at least 5 times. We started keeping track in June. They didn't pick up on the scheduled day the week of June 13, July 4, July 25, August 1 and August 8. When we called the first few times we were told someone would come pick up the trash the next day. A couple times it was picked up, but not always, and if it was it was days later. We were also told we would get a credit on our bill. Never happened. On one occasion one of the girls from work called and was told we'd never get a credit. When asked to speak to management, we were told there was no one to talk to. I myself submitted a request to have someone from management call me and never received a call. We are a veterinary office, therefore we have medical refuse. We can't have that refuse spilling out onto the ground. We pay $160/month to have our trash picked up. When they don't come I still pay for that service. Last time when I called in I was told the drivers were all new and they didn't know the routes. I was understanding about that. I asked that they send someone back out to pick up the trash that day since now they were aware it hadn't been. They promised it would get picked up. Didn't happen. The recycling gets picked up so there's obviously not an issue with accessibility. How many times do I have to call? Where is management in all this?Business Response

I requested an organics waste container in May 2022. Since then, its been picked up 4 times in 4 months. In order to get it picked up, Ive had to call daily. When I dont call, it doesnt get picked up. I am the only one in my neighborhood with a container. Isnt there a requirement that my trash company pick up all the organic waste of the whole city? A ******** Service Supervisor contacted the customer on 9/26/22 to discuss the issues with the organics cart being missed. After investigation, it was determined that the street that this customer lives on is exempt from organics service. A cart was delivered to them in error back in May of 2022. Arrangements have been made to remove the cart on Thursday, 9/29/22. The customer was satisfied with this resolution and was thankful for the call. No further action is required.
