We received an invoice in July for toner for our Xerox printer. This is a company that our company has never used. I use Xerox to complete all printer accessories. I tried calling the number on the invoice but got no answer or a callback. I just attempted to call now and was sent to VM. They are continuing to send me the same invoice, but cannot get in touch with an individual.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:To our knowledge there have been no goods delivered, at the time of invoice **** was no longer working at this property.
He was the previous manager, but as of that month I took over. I checked with the staff and nobody recalls recieving a package. We are contracted with Xerox for all printer refills

If customer is able to locate the goods ADS requests for everything to be returned.

This company called our office stating that they were the company we use for our toner supplies. The receptionist , who does not have the authority to approve new suppliers, took the sales representatives word for it. They shipped us 7 toners between October to March. Our bookkeeper, not knowing that the company was fake paid the first invoice for 3 toners for $1194.00. We already have a contract with our copy machine company for all parts and supplies. Once we realized what was going on we contacted the *** about returning all of the toners and getting our money back for 1st 3 that we already paid for. We were told that they would give us a return label for 4 toners to be sent back but not the other 3 because its past the return policy. Personally, dont you think if a company is fraudulently poaching companies and selling their products, obviously its a scam. All we want is to send the other 3 toners back and to receive a refund.Business Response

On 10/25/2023 placed order, & 12/14/2023 placed order. Both orders were processed, shipped, & received by customer and paid.
Our standard return policy allows 30 days for the return of goods for a Refund.
Since the return ****** is outside the grace ****** for any refund. Customer can exchange the product for Credit towards other print supplies.

Our company received a bill in the mail from this Advanced Data Solutions. We never ordered a product from them, nor do we need to since we have an agreement in place with ****** **** We never received the product on the invoice from them. Someone in their sales department called our business with their predatory, "Oh, it looks like your printer will be out of toner soon!" sales pitch and the call was transferred to me. I am fully aware of this tactic and know to immediately terminate the communications with someone using this style of sales pitch. I told them we were not interested and to remove us from their call list, going so far as to explain to them that we have a service contract that we have paid for that entitles us to complimentary toner directly from the supplier, ****** that supports our machines. We will not be paying this invoice. This sort of sales tactic is akin to extortion and should be illegal, as many people do not know about these third parties that trick businesses into buying unneeded and HIGHLY overpriced office supplies.Business Response

We received printer toner from Advanced Data Solutions and an invoice #***** on 12/7/2023 for $498. This was unsolicited and Advanced Solution falsely stated that they are the company who handles our toner replenishment. We paid the first invoice for $498 thinking they were telling the truth. We were then shipped three more toner cartridges and sent an invoice #***** for $1,494. We called the company to find out why so high and the Manager *********************** said there is a discount of two cartridges that we were going to receive free. We called the company that actually maintains our printer and she told us that this is a scam. I tried to reach out to ADS today and there is no one to take the call over the dispute and refund request.Business Response

Company calls in to get whatever info they can regarding your copy machines and then will send you whatever toner they think you have along with the invoice that was "approved" by someone who never approved any kind of order they just happened to get the phone call.Business Response

We were contacted via phone telling us they supply our toner for our Ricoh copy machine. There was a price increase that they failed to notify us about within the 30 days time frame of the increase, so they were going to cut us a deal for 2 years we could get the toner at the previous price. I was told a person from the distribution department would be contacting me later for verification. The distribution person was acting as if we had placed an order so I inquired, "Did we place an order or is this a standing order?" She would not reply and said I would need to speak to the previous caller. Previous caller called again and told me we would have to place an order if we wanted to get the 2 year deal. ***** arrived and it was obvious this was not our supplier. Tried calling to initiate a return, but no matter what extension option I choose I get a voice mail. Convenient since the invoice arrived today, and we have only 1 day to get a return started according to their "notice of assignment" letter included with the invoice which is 15 days return policy. I don't know how they got our phone number or knew the toner we used. We just want to get this toner returned and the account balance zeroed out.Business Response

in October of 2023 a person from Advanced Data Solutions cold called us and spoke to an operator telling them they were the company that handles our toner cartridge purchases and asked what we needed. The operator, assuming the person was being truthful, told them we needed a cartridge. We are now on a automatic billing cycle for cartridges we do not need and charging us 4 times what a normal cartridge would cost. This company is cold calling companies, lying to them about their relationship, and basically scamming companies out of thousands of dollars. This company should be shut down! DO NOT TRUST ANYONE FROM ADVANCED DATA SOLUTIONS!!Business Response

ADS has received the complaint filed on behalf of ***** *************** ADS has reviewed the complaint filed by customer. Per customers request ADS provided return authorization along with the prepaid return service label to get back the supplies. Customer's balance has since been credited. Customer has been made inactive and will not receive any communication in the future.
ADS did receive the original order in question from T ********* which was confirmed with customer prior to shipment. ADS has procedures and protocols in place to avoid any confusion when orders are placed, including call records and recordings of orders placed.

Called one of our remote offices posed as an empolyee of our company and asked it they needed toner, then put them on a 24 month contract at $150 per month, total fraud. there office in CA is the massage parlor, they do not exist. I am going to be contacting the *** anf *** fraud department in addition to this report. I dont plan on stoping till I find out someone is in jail.Business Response

This business contacted me stating that they previously charged us an incorrect amount for our toner, leading me to believe they were the vendor ******** our copy machine from who also provides us with toner, and they would guarantee a better price. Cut to a few months later, we received an invoice from Advanced Business Solutions for $440. I looked the company up and found that this is something they do a lot based on the other complaints filed with the BBB. I left a voicemail stating that I will return the toner and the invoice will not be paid. They returned my call stating it's too late to return and that an offer they made to take the back the toner was never accepted. I was told they were sending me emails. After checking both my junk and deleted email folders, I have none from them. Furthermore, they only contacted me by phone, not email previously. Now they are stating we can pay them $100 or be sent to collections. It just seems to be a scam to get any amount of money from us at this point.Business Response
