    We received a call from a *** ******* at Advanced Data Solutions regarding toner for our printer. The assistant that spoke to him did not authorize any orders, however we received a shipment of 3 cartridges with a $1000 bill...Upon calling them several times, no one answered, and when I called *** *******, his number was disconnected. This is absolutely a scam and I want any accounts related to our company deleted and to be taken off any contact lists.

    We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and would like to clarify the situation.
    Upon reviewing our records and call logs, we found that the person who authorized the toner order was not the same individual who filed this complaint. At no point prior to the BBB filing did we receive any phone calls or emails from the complainant or their company regarding an issue with the order. Had the customer contacted us directly, we would have promptly addressed the matter and arranged for a return, avoiding any frustration or inconvenience.
    As part of our resolution process, a prepaid return shipping label has since been issued to retrieve the product. Additionally, the account has been fully credited, and the invoice voided, resulting in a zero balance. No charges have been processed or collected.
    We have also removed the companys information from our database and flagged the account to prevent any further shipments or communications.
    This matter has been resolved in full, and no further action is required from the customer. We remain available to assist if needed.

    Let me know if you'd like to include the date of the original order, name of the person who authorized it, or the date the label was sent.

    I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint against Advanced Data Solutions regarding an unsolicited shipment of printer toner that we did not order or authorize. This conduct is unacceptable, and we are demanding the following immediate actions:1. A full refund for the unauthorized shipment 2. A prepaid return label for the toner 3. A written guarantee that we will never be contacted again or sent any products from your company in the future Your representative cold-called our office and deceptively implied that we had previously done business with your company. When asked for our printer model, we were led to believe we were being offered a lower-priced toner due to inflation, without a clear transaction or agreement. At no point did we confirm an order, nor did we authorize a purchase or shipment. The invoice we received, dated July 9, 2025, was entirely unsolicited. Additionally, our business name was misspelled on your documentation.Since receiving the package, we have attempted to contact your customer support line multiple times. Each attempt either went to voicemail or was answered with silence.     We are writing in response to the complaint submitted by the customer regarding Complaint ID: ********.
    Please note the following:
    No Payment Was Ever Made: The customer has never been charged nor paid for the toner shipment in question. As such, no refund is due.
    Account Credited and Invoice Canceled: As a courtesy and to avoid any confusion, we proactively credited the account in full, resulting in a zero balance. The invoice has been fully canceled, and there is no outstanding obligation on the customers part.
    Return Label Provided: A prepaid return shipping label (via call tag) was issued and sent to the customer to arrange pickup of the toner.
    Customer Data Removed: In accordance with the customers request, we have removed their business information from our system and flagged the account to ensure no further shipments, phone calls, or solicitations will occur.

    We have contract with our printer company that includes toner cartridges. We received a bill for toner cartridge from ************ Solutions. We have never used them before and did not contact them for toner. In looking into their complaints, sound like this company does this. Which is illegal. Also when trying to call them no answer and no resolution. They put a employee name on the bill (spelled incorrectly) saying that she ordered the toner which we know is false and a lie. I want written confirmation to void this bill and never contact our company again.

    I am writing to formally file a complaint against Advanced Data Solutions for engaging in deceptive and predatory business practices. On 4/22/25, I received an unsolicited call from ******* ****** on our companys main line claiming that due to a "failure to notify" us of a price increase for toners, they were offering a "locked-in" rate for two years. Relying on this representation, we accepted a shipment of toner under the assumption it was part of the agreed-upon terms. It was not. However, one month later, Advanced Data Solutions invoiced us $598 for a single tonera price grossly inflated beyond market rates. This appears to be a deliberate bait-and-switch tactic targeting small businesses. This conduct is unacceptable and may violate consumer protection laws prohibiting unfair or deceptive trade practices, including misrepresentation of pricing terms (false "locked-in rate" claim). Educate your employees of what goods and companies you do work with to prevent falling victim to this.

    I received a call a couple weeks ago from someone claiming to be from Brother informing us there was a notice that went out to customers of a price increase in their toner, but the notice was not sent out to all customers, including my company, so as a courtesy they said they were going to keep our current rates for the next calendar year. I didn't think anything of it at the time other than that was generous, and they said they would follow up to confirm shipping details (which is when I should've known it was a scam, because this exact thing happened to me a few months ago). They did, and then this morning I received a package with a completely different brand of toner inside from a company called "Advanced Data Solutions," which led me here. I know they will be invoicing me for this printer, and ***** won't let me return the shipment without creating my own shipping label, or reaching out to the shipper, which from all the reviews I know for a fact won't get back to me, much less create a return label for me to send this back to them. We are not going to pay the invoice when it comes, and I want it voided altogether so they stop contacting us to pay it (which I also know they will be doing).

    Advanced Data Solutions (ADS) is an independent office supply company and is not affiliated with ******* or any printer manufacturer. We are concerned to hear the customer felt misled and take such concerns seriously.
    According to our records, the order in question was confirmed and verified during a follow-up call, during which the customer was clearly informed that the order was being processed and shipped by Advanced Data Solutions. Shipping details were also confirmed at that time. Prior to this BBB complaint, we received no communication from the customer regarding any concerns or a request to return the product.
    Nonetheless, as a courtesy and in the interest of resolving the matter, we will credit the order in full, issue a prepaid return label for the unopened product, and close the account to prevent any future contact or shipments.

    This company has engaged in deceitful and predatory business practices. Over the course of several months, they have sent us multiple shipments of toner products that we did not order. Our actual toner needs are already provided for free through a contract with a different supplier.Despite never placing an order, we have been charged MULTIPLE TIMES of $1,494 for these unauthorized toner shipments. We attempted multiple times to contact the company to return the unwanted products and request a refund, but all calls go unanswered and are consistently routed to voicemail. No one returns our messages.Their website provides no viable means of customer support, and it is clear at this point that the entire operation is a scam. This company preys on businesses by misrepresenting themselves, sending unordered products, and then disappearing when it comes time to resolve the issue. This is malicious, deceptive, and completely unacceptable.I am demanding a full refund for all the toner products delivered to our property that were never ordered.This company should be investigated and held accountable for their unethical business practices.

    Advanced Data Solutions (ADS) takes customer service and transparency very seriously. We do not engage in unauthorized shipments. All toner orders shipped by ADS are initiated by the customer and confirmed through a verification process with the individual who places the order to ensure accuracy and authorization.
    We understand that the customer now wishes to return all toner products received. As stated in our policy, we offer a 30-day return window on all purchases. However, in an effort to reach an amicable resolution, we are willing to make an exception:
    We will accept the return of all 2025 shipments, totaling $3,486.00, and issue a full refund for these.
    For any toner shipments delivered prior to 2025, we are willing to provide a one-time product exchange as a courtesy.
    Regarding the customer's attempts to contact us, we have reviewed our records and found no prior communication. We have since spoken with the customer and discovered they were attempting to reach us using an incorrect email address, which may have contributed to the lack of response. ADS is available via phone and email, and we work diligently to respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.
    We do not have access to information about the customers separate supply contracts, nor do we initiate shipments without verified orders. Any suggestion that ADS operates unethically or engages in deceptive practices is categorically false and not reflective of our business conduct or values.
    We are committed to resolving this matter professionally and respectfully. Once the customer confirms they will proceed with the return and/or exchange as outlined above, we will coordinate accordingly and update the complaint status with the BBB.

    Staff received a call from this committing we order toner from them and we needed to order more. When the staff member questioned them they said yes you have ordered from us before.     This company called us right when we were a new business and claimed that they were partnered with ***** to send us toner when we required it. We thought that we were supposed to get it from them, not knowing that the toner was included under our service agreement. They said that there was going to be a price increase, and to get our toner before the price was increased. We said ok and sent 439$ not knowing that we get it for free from *****. So they posed as a canon partner and we thought it was legit and sent them money. I have called them trying to get it back, to no success. Their whole website is phony, and even has lorem ipsem writing on it. They are somehow getting information from people starting new service contracts and then scamming them into buying their toner.     I am rejecting this response because:  They were dishonest and said that they were with canon, which made me think that it was ok to pay this.  They take advantage of people with service contracts trying to convince them that they are the ones that we are supposed to get our toner from.  Which is not the case at all, canon provides that FOR FREE.  I want to know how they knew that I had a service contract.  They are clearly taking advantage of people.  

    They call, and say that the price of the ink is about to go up to pressure the person to buy it.  Even though we get it for free.  Dishonest business tactics.  We would like a full refund.

    Advanced Data Solutions calls with all your information and makes it seem like they are the ones handling your supply account. They informed us via phone call on 3/22/24 that our toner order was due to be shipped, except for one that was backordered that they'd ship as soon as possible, and then with as little a response as, "Okay, thank you for letting us know.", they process a full order on your behalf of unneeded toner that was never actually ordered and ship it out with an invoice for $1,275.44 (invoice # *****, ship date 3/25/24). The large amount was a red flag for our finance team, who let us know this company was not, in fact, our ink supplier. However, I'm afraid, as a new employee very unaware of this scam, we already mistakenly paid one much smaller invoice. Conveniently for Advanced Data Solutions, no customer service representatives are available to answer calls for returning the toner and cancelling any balance. After a simple ****** search of just the company name, we found several other companies have fallen victim to these outright lies.

    We received an invoice in July for toner for our Xerox printer. This is a company that our company has never used. I use Xerox to complete all printer accessories. I tried calling the number on the invoice but got no answer or a callback. I just attempted to call now and was sent to VM. They are continuing to send me the same invoice, but cannot get in touch with an individual.
